Update 0.12: The Underdog

General Update



  • Added the final Backstory before 1.0: The Underdog! With the Underdog a whole new type of challange
  • Added a Secret Boss at the end of the Underdog run!

Update 0.11.1: Even more Nightmares

General Changes



  • Added 6 new Nightmare Cards
  • Changed the "End Game Screen"
  • Improved the Perk Pop Up during the fight
  • Added a small plus sign that shows that you have more perks than the ones displayed


Balance:



  • Touch the Untouchable is now a Rare card instead of an Ex Card


Bugfixing



  • Trial perks no longer just look white
  • Fixed several typos
  • Adjusted the background during Character Creation
  • Critical Bar is no longer covered by the character

Update 0.11: Halloween

General Changes



  • Added a new Backstory: Nightmare
  • Added the Nightmare Cards!
  • Added an unlockable headwear: The Pumpking

  • Changed the way Perks are displayed in game
  • Added a button to check perks in the hub

  • Fixed scroll sensitivity for the backstory selection

Update V0.10.3: Paladin

General Changes



  • Added a new Archetype: Paladin!
  • Added the "Avatar" system
  • Added 20 new cards
  • Added 10 new perks
  • Added 4 new fighters to the game


Balance Changes



  • The Swang deck was adapted to involve Paladin's cards
  • Way of the Flaming fist power was changed, and the attacks lowered from 10 to 7


Bugfixing



  • Fixed a bug where you could get lower level cards during Endless Mode as rewards
  • Fixed a problem with the "Expand your Horizons" event that used to force people to reload the game

Update v0.10.2: Boss Cards

General Changes



  • Added 10 Boss Cards. You can see those cards used by the respective bosses.
  • The new boss cards are obtainable through the "Explore the Ark" event.
  • The background in Endless mode will randomly change after a certain rank
  • Added a new trial: Trial of the End


Balance Changes



  • Boarding Pirate power was reduced


Bugfixes



  • Fixed "I've had worse" not loading correctly
  • Fixed the Mech disappearing with the character
  • "Battle Scars" wasn't calculating the HP correctly, causing negative HP when removing the wounds
  • "Iron Price" now triggers when you have 10 gold instead of when you have more than 10
  • Text of Skip Trial now actually says Skip Trial
  • Corrected the description of the Trial of Unity

UPDATE V0.10.1: Online Leaderboards

General Changes:



  • Added online leaderboards for Endless Mode and Regular Runs! Currently they're not displayed in the game but you can check them over here!
  • The online Leaderboards for Endless Mode track how high your rank is in each Backstory and on Regular Runs you get to compete for the fastest run on the "Speedrun Leaderboard".
  • Now the Endless records are tracked depending on the Backstory instead of globally
  • Added the Paladin and Magical Girl outfits to unlock!
  • Added 9 new Trials to the Endless Mode
  • Added 3 Achievements to Endless Mode


Balance:



  • If you play with the Keeper of Secrets backstory you get harder trials in Endless Mode.
  • "Trial of the Thief" now takes longer to show up



Bugfixes:



  • Solved a bug that made it impossible to continue playing the Endless Mode if you had all the trials (Congrats on the people who managed to get that far!)
  • The "Forbidden Powers" perk was not loaded correctly between games. That is fixed now.
  • "Trial of Unity" description was updated to reflect it's actual effect
  • Changed how perks are displayed to avoid covering the UI if you have way too many of them.

UPDATE v0.10: Endless Mode

Have you ever played Tournament Ark and thought: "I wish I could play more than 20 fights per run"?
Well, I have great news for you! Introducing Endless Run, where now you can play for as long as you can survive!
The difficulty will keep on rising to insane levels. If you ever wanted to test how far your multi-fusion build can get you, this is the time!



General Changes



  • Added the Endless Run Mode
  • Added 20+ Trials, basically additional challenges that you get during Endless Run
  • Added a system that keeps track of the rank you reach
  • Added Visual Feedback to hovering over options


Balance



  • The effect of the Unleashed perk is now: "Each time you level up a card, level it up once more."


Bug Fixes



  • Rush and Spores are now marked as "Max Level"
  • Boss Perks were removed from the usual Mech Pool
  • Fixed typos

UPDATE V0.9.13: Agent Thorne

General Changes:



  • Added a new boss to the game: Agent Thorne
  • Added 4 new Perks for the new boss: Life Support, Steel Valkyria, Secondary Weapon, Top Ranking
  • Added a new Codex Entry for Agent Thorne
  • Added a new Achievement
  • Added a new outfit that you can unlock after defeating the agent 20 times




Balance:



  • Cold Blooded base power got reduced
  • Cold Winds is no longer defensive, has higher base power, applies effect on hurting and has no power against Green
  • Cryogenic Cleansing no longer has power, is no longer defensive, it's consumable and heals 200% more
  • Diamond Dust power was increased
  • Emergency Freeze is no longer consumable, but it's Last Resort
  • Ice Barrier Power was increased
  • Sub Zero Power was increased

Update 0.9.12: Haste

General Changes



  • Added a new status: Haste! The next move will have as many additional attacks as you have Haste charges. After that you lose all Haste charges.
  • Added a new Universal Card: Rush. This card give you the Haste status.
  • Added a Difficulty rating to each archetype. This is mostly for new players to know how complex is to play each Archetype.
  • Added 2 new Perks for the Mech Archetype: Multitask and Showtime
  • Changed how "Ejecting from a Mech" works. Now it will keep your accumulated MK, while only the Mech getting destroyed will reset it.
  • Spawned cards now spawn in the discard pile instead of the deck (For example Relentless).


Balance Changes



  • Breakthrough: Higher Critical Charge, now if you don't have a Mech gives you +2 Power Charges.
  • Combine Robots: Base Power increased.
  • Flying Module: Less Critical Charge, more Base Power.
  • Get into the Robot: If you're already inside a Mech it advances the MK of your Mech. Now it has a base Power higher than 0.
  • Laser Sword: Loses triple damage on crit. Now if you deal damage with this card it gives you 1 Haste charge.
  • Missile Shower: Rarity reduced, now is more common.
  • Transfer Energy to Shields: Rarity increased, now is more uncommon.
  • Repropose Scrap: Power reduced to 0. Now if you're Outside a Mech it summons a Mech instead.
  • The Ranger now haves only 1 healing potion in his deck.


Bugfixing



  • The default victory and defeat animation no longer plays if you're inside a Mech.
  • The Living Ice card that was removed in the previous patches no longer can randomly show up.

UPDATE 0.9.11: Mech Pilot

General Changes



  • Added a new Archetype: Mech Pilot!
  • Added an actual Mech into the game to Pilot
  • Added 20 new cards
  • Added 9 new Perks
  • Added 4 fighters to the game



Balance Changes



  • Buffed the "Embrace Change" event. Now it gives you higher level cards of any rarity
  • Buffed No Pain No Gain: From giving 100HP to 200HP
  • Pirate King no longer can be obtained randomly


Bugfixing



  • Moved the Veteran Effect so it happens after the draft
  • Fixed "Always Prepared" triggering when it shouldn't
  • "Green Man" had an incorrect deck
