TOD January Dev Notes
Hello from 2023 with a new developer notes! Developer notes show an overview of last month's summary and what will be update this month.
1. Regular version update - 3rd tower contents will be update in regular version. A new part is the entire basement, and it's about 50% of the entire 3rd tower. - Balance patches will be made in various areas according to version update. Difficulty adjustments for sections that were too easy or too hard contents will be.
2. Second Class Upgrade - After defeating Sphinx, you can get a quest item that allows you to upgrade your class. When you return to town and visit the Evangelist, your class will be upgraded and you will be able to learn new class skills. - Since the class upgrade is completed, new skills can be set and used immediately. Don't forget to change your skill!
3. New content resources. - Various contents will be update as new maps, new enemies, new skills, etc. The charm of TOD is that powerful enemies continue to block you and break through them. Resource upgrade are constantly being made.

4. Remake of K.O system. - K.O system is currently making many experimental attempts. Regarding this, we will set a solution within January, and when it finished, we will notice it to you.
5. New Class : Inquisitor - New class is coming soon! It will be applied to the regular version in February at the latest, and if things go well, you may be able to play it in the beta version in January. - The Inquisitor is a compromise between the previous two classes and has rare strategic skills. It's difficult for beginners to handle, but it's a fun and interesting character.
6. Story Remake and Translation Improvements - Most of English translations are hand-translated, but Google Translate was used for the main story part. Because, main story is not so good to seeing through English. So, we decided to main story translation completely after remake. - And also partial improvements will be made with the review in many awkward conversations.

TOD Regular Patch 0.151
Beta version has been applied to the patch. Compare to lastest regular version, extensive patches were made in various areas such as characters, skills, and mobs. 3rd tower contents are still in testing phase and locked in regular builds.
- New Content - Added sound for Fate Sighting skill. If you cannot learn a skill when you get a skill book, you can get a certain amount of EXP. Fairy NPC on the 2-0F will disappear after the class change is over.
- Bug fix - Fixed missing names for some artifacts. Fixed missing some stats obtained after talking to NPCs in town. Fixed an error where Eerie Wave skill did not display its effect. TOD Emergency Update 0.14
Currently, initialization bug after returning to the tower has appearing some players. A few users and developers play proceed normally but did not have any problems. Also, we could not find any problems with the bug in the code. So, we urgently applied the latest beta test version as the official version to solve the problem.

TOD IMPORTANT NOTICE #1
Our team has had so many discussions about the TOD service to this day, and it has come to decision.

2. Change of news serialization period : There were few bad things to deliver to news every week. Our team doesn't have a lot of work to do to deliver something in the news every week. This kind of content can cause confusion to you, so we are going to change the serialization period from weeks to months. We think it is possible to save the good value of news by trimming and delivering relatively accurate information every month.
3. Delete of Demo version : At the time of TOD's first release, we thought the length of the content was short, and since it's a minor genre. We included a demo version so that people who didn't like it bought it and didn't get disappointed. But now, due to the development of the 3rd tower, the content has been established to extent, the price of the game has been lowered, and many interested people already played demo. Therefore, we want to close the demo version before the winter sale. We would like to thank everyone who has played the demo. If you liked the demo version, you will also like the paid version.
Game development is still ongoing. Currently, we are working on decreasing the imbalance between classes along with new classes to come, and completing the underground stage in 3rd tower. We will do our best to deliver good news to users as soon as possible.
TOD Weekly News #6
Let's start sixth TOD weekly news. This week news will focus on upcoming KO system remade.
Anyone who have played Crusader character will have seen KO skill where enemies are sometimes killed in one hit. The KO skill is a so-called victory skill that ends the game by inflicting damage that defeat the target monster in one shot. However, the conditions that caused this were quite difficult. - The target is not a boss type or a monster that is immuned from KO - Your DEF will be higher than your opponent's ATK - Occurs at a certain probability (default 7%) when attacked
Need to DEF had to be high, very difficult to see the KO itself for characters who grow mainly with ATK, such as witch hunter. Therefore, we want to sublimate this KO into a good game system by combining it with other feedback.
First of all, there is a new KO gauge. Start at 0/100 and collect all the gauges, will manually press the R key during combat to activate KO. It's difficult to activate right away in the combat sequence. So, it will be called in the closest processing sequence, turning it into a system that can directly intervene in the game. Similar to a smoke grenade.
Through this, I hope that many people gave me feedback about wanting to have something to intervene in battle. Auto-battle is good point for TOD, but we know some players need more control like us smoke bomb. KO can be activated at any time to knock down the enemy in one shot. Still immune to bosses and some monster can be resist. But we considering the use of the changed KO, we are planning to use it strategically in boss fights as a ultimate skill that inflicts great damage. As long as it doesn't affect the balance too much.
The concept of the resources that fill the KO gauge is also finished to some extent. +1 per turn, +3 for defeating an enemy, +1 for completely blocking an enemy's attack (0 damage), etc. We designed the resources so that both offensive and defensive heroes can utilize KO. In addition, by adding skills or artifacts that have effects such as adjusting the amount of resources obtained and the maximum value of the gauge itself. We are expanding many contents so that you can configure a skill tree that can actively use KO.
Lastly, KO skill have dedicated effects. It is not currently implemented, but each character class has a different KO effect. This will be applied at the same time as change. It is longer and more wonderful than other effects.
Currently, the KO system are still under discussion. It may change as posted in the news today, or it may change in a slightly different direction. If you have any opinions about the KO system, please comment.

TOD Beta #1 Open Now!
Beta testing of 3rd tower content and large-scale balance adjustments has begun!
You can play the beta version from now on. In this version, the monsters were weak compared to character's growth, so we make a massive monster stats buff. In addition, the 3rd tower contents that were announced have been released, but some of them have not yet been implemented.

TOD Weekly News #5
Let's start fifth TOD weekly news. This week news will focus on upcoming equipment information.
- All equipment will remake. Starting with some stats and applying upgrades.
- Weapons and accessories can be upgraded, and acquired equipment can be individually. - Godstone and mystic powder required for equipment upgrade are consumed at a ratio of 1:2, and the consumption per level is doubled. - Equipment can be upgraded from lv 0 to lv3. - Equipment once upgraded cannot be restored.
- For weapons, stat increases based on ATK and skills that reinforce normal attack are added.
- For accessories, its similar to artifacts, such as valuable stats and debuff resistance.
