TOD Weekly News #3

Let's start third TOD weekly news.



The story work up to the Overlord on 3rd tower has been completed. It speaks of completion of not only texts, but also of all connected things such as shops. With this, the minimum conditions required for content progress have been satisfied, so it can be applied to the regular version soon.


A few effects are added along with sound. Effect samples will be released in the next news.


The Inquisitor's rough is complete. We aimed to create a design that makes you feel more like an exorcist who is more skilled and secret than other characters.





Its our third TOD news. And before we close, we would like to express our condolences to the tragedy in Itaewon, Korea, during Halloween. Currently, the Republic of Korea is in the state funeral.

TOD 0.12 ver. Patch Note

0.12 patch focus on fixing some issues with bugs and omissions.


- All class up skill images of Crusader were missing have been fixed.
- Wrong attack type of the phantom monster of Crusader has been fixed.
- Missing animation of the 2nd tower Death Knight unit has been fixed.
- Animation of the stamp skill was unintentionally expanded has been fixed.

- An error in the blocking calculation has been fixed.
(All buff values ​​starting with BLK were being calculated debuffs)

- Some texts protruded from the UI have been fixed.
- Several other Korean translation errors have been fixed.

Currently, when some users return to town after defeating Slaughter, their stats and progress are reset. The development team tried many cases to solve that bug, but it was impossible to implement that bug, and in theory, a temporary deletion and feedback check system for sections that could cause problems were added to the game.
Users who have encountered this problem or a similar problem, please delete the game once and then reinstall it. If the problem still occurs, please send detailed information about the bug to ooodo9002@gmail.com

Let's start second TOD weekly news.

This week's news will sharing of contents related to the development of 3rd tower contents.



New tiles and trap are added.
A secret chamber that uses the space outside the tower is placed like the 2nd tower class change.

Information has been written for all new monsters in the 3rd Tower.
A rough of the mob design is out, and we've taken some.






Mob skills with some different concept from the previous tower is added.

Genie's powerful strategy skill like RA, RD+

Enemies with more difficult skills will stand in your way.


Its our second TOD news. Currently, content development is proceeding at a good pace, and the content will be expanded to a certain section of the 3rd tower in the near future.

TOD 0.11 ver. Patch Note

The 1st tower map and other balances of have been modified.


- 1-2F tier 2 door next to the merchant has been changed to tier 3 door.
- 1-16F tier 2 two doors in the center have been changed to tier 1 doors.
- 1-17F All twelve doors on the left have been changed to tier 1 doors.
- 1-19F tier 1 door in front of the merchant has been changed to tier 3 door.

- CRD raised by Fate Relic has been reduced from 10 to 5.
- HIT raised by Qualification Relic has been reduced from 5 to 1.

- 2nd tower Ghost unit AATK has been reduced.
- 2nd tower Wraith unit AATK has been reduced.
- 2nd tower Shadow unit ATK has been reduced.
*This modification may be overturned in the future.

- Several other English translation errors have been fixed.

Please note that map changes are not applied when loading a previous version save files.

First TOD weekly news has started.

We want to keep you informed on a weekly basis until the game is officially release.
In the news, we plan to provide the latest information on various game developments and issues of users.
However, please note that the information disclosed here is only a plan and is not always apply.


< Early Access Version Release Review >
There were many things before released. It's mainly a COVID-19 problem, so we can't control that. Nevertheless, we did not give up. After a long journey, somehow managed to release an early access version. Thanks again to everyone who helped build and test the game and you!

The price of the package is high compared to other games. Actually, I wanted to write an ambiguous explanation for in the Early Access Introduction. But due to Steam policy, we couldn't make a specific promise to you, so we tell you this through news and updates.
Obviously, we are aiming to complete a game that is worthy of our price. We are also considering means such as adding multiple content and releasing a map editor for a game that is fun to play many times rather than just one-time consumption content.


< 3rd Tower Development >
Currently, 3rd tower is under development.

The 3rd tower are located in the southern desert area in the world. It called the Tower of abyss.
Among the evil companions, this is where the Beast are mainly garrisoned. For example, can see familiar mobs such as goblin and orc, as well as desert-related mobs such as sandstone golem and sphinxes.

The progression of the three towers is special. First of all, you can go up to the ground only after you have run all the way underground. The floors of the ground and underground also same.
A proper secret room appears from the 3rd tower and some of them have a hidden boss. In terms of game balance, it's designed to be cleared without visiting the secret room, so visiting the secret room will lower difficulty of the game and give a chance to make up for mistakes.

In addition to this, several contents are under development. In the near future, we will be able to introduce you to not only texts but also samples.


< Equipment Upgrade >
You can get many equipments within TOD. So far, acquiring equipment has only been an item that raises the stat a little more than others, but other growth ways are opened from the 3rd tower.

Equipment upgrade is to select the desired equipment and upgrade its ability. Equipment upgrade is carried out with the ‘Godstone’ item, and those who have visited to the 2nd Tower will have experience in obtaining that item. The Godstone becomes a resource that enables equipment upgrade along with ‘Mystic powder’ to be added later.

All available equipment can be upgraded. Upgrade can be up to 3 levels in total, and ability and material consumption increases according to level. Each equipment has its own abilities obtained and we plan to balancing low-tier equipments so that there is no unconditional disadvantage to upgrade.


< New class >
A new class Inquisitor is in development. More details about the Inquisitor will be released later, and for now, we will only simple comparative information.

- It has stronger stats compared to witch hunter and crusader.
- Attack and defense are balanced, but the synergy between skills is inferior compared to other classes.
- Proficient in control bad conditions, especially with Purify and Dispel techniques.
- Purpose is to make the easiest class for beginners to play.

Demo version 0.10 bug patch applied

The demo version has also been updated to match the early access version.
