We also wanted to ensure a smooth launch for the Glimmerpass expansion so we decided to integrate all the new items to databases and item systems in this preparation update.

We proudly present the release date for a free major update "Glimmerpass Mines" that will be available on July 4th with tons of new content. Get ready for a horde mode dungeon and new gameplay mechanics in void planting. Enter the underground caves to gather ancient artifacts and precious stones. Get recruited by the dark wizard Kanadios Sedicuus into his faction and work for the Manheim Trading Company to awaken the old void gods. And for the first time there is finally class-specific armor sets with unique bonuses and much more. This is the biggest content expansion to the game since release. Those who have attuned all the previous dungeons will now have access to a special portal that goes deep underground into the mines.
[p]This will be a different kind of late-game dungeon with progression tied to a new faction where you slay hordes of enemies to reach the next phase. Backstory and lore
[p]The great Kanadios Sedicuus (Tower Walker lore- 100% handwritten from a human mind in 2019)[/p][p]Hundreds of years ago in the time of the magic wars, one of the elders in the council of wizards and one of the most powerful sorcerers of that era "Kanadios Sedicuus the grey" turned to dark magic and began to worship the old void gods in his lust for power... He was banished from the tower and fled to the deep caverns of glimmerpass where he made a pact with the Manheim Trading Company to dig for ancient artifacts... He would help to the mining expedition to find hidden secrets and unlock new paths. It was in these void infested places in the deepest darkest caverns he discovered void planting when he met a master herbalist from the company called Renard. New horde-mode dungeon
Those who have attuned to all the previous dungeons will now have access to a new special portal that goes deep underground into the dwarven empire of "Glimmerpass" and into the mines. This will be a different kind of late-game challenging dungeon where you slay hordes of enemies to reach the next phase. We have adjusted some gameplay elements and added a dungeon map. Additionally, we have introduced new precious materials to grind for crafting and a different type of S+ weapon enchanting with cap locked behind progression. This will be more challenging content with rewarding grind.

Use artifacts found deep in the mines to awaken S+ weapons and unlock new enchant bonuses
New faction
Gokron merchant guild with a base of operations called "Heavenly haven" in the mines is a mystery
LORE
In the third age the Manheim Trading Company that controls most of the trade routes in the human kingdoms encountered a mysterious merchant race called the Gokron. First contact was made when a caravan was sent out from the gokron settlement of Loktororr in the desert southlands to travel all the way to the human capital of Stormholme and trade priceless artifacts found deep within the dwarven mines in the Glimmerpass mountains. The humans could not know that all trade goods that the gokrons offered was corrupted by abyss magic and spread to all corners of the world for a reason. The gokrons used ancient hidden pathways deep within the mountains for all their trading routes between the humans, elves and the dwarven kingdoms. This made them very rich. Rich enough to take control of all the goblin clans. The gokrons became the overlords of the goblins and ruled them for hundreds of years. The wizards of the tower always knew that the gokrons could not be trusted since they worshipped the Void Lord Molgor also known as the nightshade.

The expansion "Glimmerpass mines" will be free content that can be fully unlocked by playing the game.

The Five Great Beasts DLC OUT NOW!
The next content expansion for Tower Walker "The Five Great Beasts" is out now together with update v1.0102 to the base game. This expansion adds 1 bonus area "The Swamplands" and 13 new special pets that can be unlocked in a bonus dungeon. By buying this DLC you are first and foremost showing your support for Tower Walker and future development but you also get a load of exclusive bonus content. Thanks for your support!
"The Swamplands" is a bonus dungeon with normal, heroic and brutal mode. There is no level requirement to start the attunement process and enter the instance. There is however a requirement to have explored the tower up to atleast floor 113 on any character. This new dungeon introduces 7 new bosses and 20 different new enemy types. Heroic and brutal mode have increased drop chance for the rare and legendary items. Bonus dungeons is extra content and will not be part of any progression in milestones, quests or achievements for the main game.
LORE
"In the ancient scrolls in the grand royal library of Stormholme the human scribe Adam Sagesong found a chapter telling the legend of the great five beasts and the minions of Zaagul. This legend was from the second age at the center of the troll empire in the swamplands during the magical wars between the wizards of the tower and the soulhunters of the abyss. The troll king desired to claim the old treasure of whitefrost in a temple controlled by the wizards. To execute this task he needed the guild of troll beastmasters to find an open path around the magical shields surrounding the temple. The beastmasters skill in training wild animals was famous in all the lands. Their guild was located at the green gate in a jungle on the border to Kintanu Islands. In this jungle there was five great wild beasts. The mighty Ashfang was the biggest of them all and the leader of the pack. The attempt to tame Ashfang and these great beasts was a struggle that went on for many years. The troll king was furious about the failure to tame these beasts. He ordered his most skilled beastmaster Babuul to tame Ashfang at any cost even by using dark magic that would corrupt his soul for all eternity." Loremasters journal
