BACKSTORY AND LORE




MOLGOR THE NIGHTSHADE AND THE GOKRON
In the third age the Manheim Trading Company that controls most of the trade routes in the human kingdoms encountered a mysterious merchant race called the Gokron. First contact was made when a caravan was sent out from the gokron settlement of Loktororr in the desert southlands to travel all the way to the human capital of Stormholme and trade priceless artifacts found deep within the dwarven mines in the Glimmerpass mountains. The humans could not know that all trade goods that the gokrons offered was corrupted by abyss magic and spread to all corners of the world for a reason. The gokrons used ancient hidden pathways deep within the mountains for all their trading routes between the humans, elves and the dwarven kingdoms. This made them very rich. Rich enough to take control of all the goblin clans. The gokron became the overlords of the goblins and ruled them for hundreds of years. The wizards of the tower always knew that the gokrons could not be trusted since they worshipped the Void Lord Molgor also known as the nightshade. The legends tell the tale of how Molgor of the south made a dark pact with the Siren queen in the frozen northlands. Their offspring became the first gokron. Demonspawn of nightshade born of siren magic to seek out power and dominate the desert southlands.


THE NOGGIN AND THE WATERGOD
The noggin was an ancient tribe that lived in treehouses in a forest with the most peculiar purple flora and fauna on the border between desert southlands and the zulmaris swamplands. In the first age an ancient evil called Culzhargg from the depths of the ocean invaded the forest and placed a powerful curse on the noggin. This curse would prevent any noggin from fishing in the waters close to their village. It was a disaster for the tribe. The noggin would starve to death without their fishing. The elder shaman Mukzorg, the oldest of all the noggin was sent out into the world to get help. In a tavern called Driftwood on the border to the human kingdom of Stormholme he found the blue wizard Leonardo of the scepter order and his companion Priestess Sora, the beautiful daughter of the elven king Eodas. Leonardo agreed to form a fellowship with the quest to defeat the ancient evil and help the noggin to remove the evil curse that was put on their fishing ground. This was the first time the wizards of the tower encountered the abyss demon known as the watergod Culzhargg in the depths of the ocean. After a heavy defeat in the battle of Zaatara the elven king Eodas agreed to let the noggin live in the forest of Aldora. As a token of friendship he ordered elven craftsmen to build treehouses for them.


THE MAGIC WARS
Leonardo the blue wizard. One of the most powerful sorcerers of the first age in the tower was broken and defeated at the battle of Zaatara. The abyss demon Culzhargg in the depths of the ocean found a way to curse the only thing Leonardo cared about. His elven companion Priestess Sora, the beautiful daughter of the elven king Eodas. The evil watergod was too strong even for an elven princess to resist. Powerful abyss magic twisted her mind. She turned against the fellowship and even her own father. Sora meant everything to Leonardo. He would give up his life for her. She was the only thing that gave him purpose to live. When the blue wizard realized that she was lost. When he saw her red glowing eyes and twisted mind and when he truly understood that all his power and beyond could not save her he was unable to act putting his magic staff on the ground. Culzhargg had won. The battle was over before it even began. The fellowship of the noggin had failed their quest. And the blue wizard was never to be seen again. The elven king Eodas turned his anger towards the wizards in the tower. His daughter was lost and it was all their fault. This was the beginning of the magic wars that would last a hundred years.


THE THUNDERGOD TYRANNOS
In the second age the Abyss Queen and her powers grew beyond the abyss and expanded into another dimension called the void. In the void shadows she encountered two ancient voidspawns. Molgor the nightshade and Golgor the ulentor. Both massive gigantic void lords that feeds of dark energy in all dimensions. By using the soul magic in the tower and with the help of the most powerful wizard of that era, the relentless Soultaker Moortus she opened a massive portal and released both of these creatures into the world. The first one Molgor the nightshade wandered into the desert southlands and encountered the lizards. His first void offspring became the thundergod Tyrannos that would rule the lizard empire with his puppet high king Salaasar by his side for hundreds of years.

  • Fixed several textures and animation issues in the Northland dungeons
  • Recovery now also affect Lich "Summon: Skeleton"
  • All scrolling combat texts for "player character,minions,enemys,bosses" has been completely reworked
  • Bishops "Holy Shield" now scales with player damage instead of a fixed number
  • Added "Mythic key" button in dungeon death screen to restart with 100% exp return after death
  • Tower bosses now heal for 35% of max health when the player is killed (up from 25%)
