Hello Sentinels!


We hope that your previous year was filled with new adventures and good fortunes and wishing you a blessed 2023 ahead! To help you start this year more fun, we have prepared for you a new update which is upcoming next week. To make it even more smooth we are starting a series of video tutorials on our official youtube channel which you will be able to see at the beginning of next week.

December update


Merry X-mas and a Happy New Year to everybody!🎄


This update will bring some snow to the world of Alfira. The merchant Hazrit and the Priestess are changed their clothes. It looks like even undead skeletons are affected by these holidays. So they made snowmen!

Eastern Dungeon location🔥


The activation of Stone of Life in the Lower Town will open the door to new Sentinel Stronghold. It is there you will find the path to the Eastern Dungeon. Built long ago by dwarven race it is partly ruined now.

New monsters🦌


You are going to face multiple new monsters. Some of them have their own move-set and abilities.

  • Skeleton spearman
  • Undead panther
  • Skinless panther
  • Small spider
  • Cave spider

New Relic and schematics🍪


There are two new schematics are available now. They are Freezing bullets and Freezing mine. Find them, bring them back to the Merchant and try new consumables! The Sickle of Death Relic will grant you Shield Bash active ability upon receiving it to the Priestess.

New puzzle🛷


You'll have to solve the puzzle with pressing plates to proceed the boss chamber.

New traps🎁


Watch out for Pendulum blades and Crushing cone traps!

By the way, the root trap can no longer be triggered by projectile attacks.

New soundtracks🔔


We've added several atmospheric ambient music soundtracks. Please let us know how do you like them.

The Big Boss⛄


Previously available undead officers were just mini-bosses. Gorgolith bone golem is a massive abomination that will deliver you a full scale bossfight. You will have to use all your skill, right tactics and consumable items to bring this undead army officer down.

With this week of the outgoing autumn, we are pleased to announce that preparations for the winter holidays are in full swing. Autumn brought us a lot of new things, and even more interesting await us ahead. So that you do not get bored in anticipation of the winter holidays, we are preparing new surprises for you. UX Update

Handheld Menu



Many players of different VR headsets had difficulty entering the game menu. Now it is enough to touch the bracelet on the left with an empty right hand. Three objects will appear: a gear - Settings, a book - an Encyclopedia and a bag - Inventory. Just grab the right one.

Checkpoint system



Checkpoints will respond faster. They used to light up after the player left them. Returning teleport now shows the name of the checkpoint it will take you to.

Critical damage



Every fourth hit on an enemy spawns a mark in one of four possible places: head, lower back, left or right shoulder. Hitting it will cause instant death or dismemberment of limbs.

Revolver reload


Sometimes if you started reloading a revolver and threw it away, the next time you picked it up, its UI would show it was reloaded, which wasn't true. Not anymore.

Undead Officer Chest


We fixed a bug that allowed opening an Undead Officer chest before killing its owner.

Natural holding and throwing


You asked for it. You can now switch between two weapon holding modes. Our old mode required you to press the grab button to pick up the weapon and press it again to release it. In natural mode, you pick up an item by holding down the grab button. Releasing the button will cause the item to be thrown.

Monster Perception


We have changed how monsters react to player actions. Now they will try to investigate the source of the sound instead of going on the attack.

Diehard mushrooms


Some exploding mushrooms could not be detonated from a distance. They hid in the invisible walls of the environment. We have tried to correct this injustice.

Climbing update


We noticed that trying to go down the ladders or mushrooms sometimes just didn't work. Fixed.

Healing Crystal and Stone of Life


These two entities scattered particles around them very beautifully. But sometimes they did it spontaneously. They ask for forgiveness and won't do it again.

We are constantly monitoring your remarks and already on November 4th you will see next hotfix update, which will include:

- Fixed death animation
- Merchant will be able to receive blueprints
- New critical strike animation
- We part with Halloween design and decorations
- Ongoing work to enrich the game with audio design

Halloween Arena


Halloween 🎃


Tracery of Fate game is a dark fantasy so we decided to enhance it with even more creepiness due to Halloween eve. Now lower level skeletons will have pumpkin on their heads. Also watch out for the pumpkins among the bushes, they can explode when you approach!

Battle Arena ⚔


New location in Bastion is available for you now. Do you want to try your build? Go ahead! We are balancing the difficulty of the arena so please let us know if you manage to win it. (Don't forget to upgrade your skills if it's too tough for you).

The axe 🪓


Your primary weapon - an axe will no longer go through your enemy undetected. Come on, hit it again!

Sound overhaul 🎵


Many sounds were replaced and now we have music for you to listen. More to come next time.

Treasure items 💰


It's pretty boring to find the same bag of gold in most chests. Now there are several treasure items that will convert to gold coins upon pick up.

Stuck enemies 👻


We've implemented unstuck system for your enemies. Let's see if this will help them not to get stuck forever in obstacles.

Finishers 💀


Several new finishers were also added in this build.

Exchange consumables 💣


Now you can finally give something to your companion. Revolver ammo or a healing potion, for example.

Optimization 🦇


We continue to make HLODs and apply other techniques to improve game optimization.

Upcoming Halloween update

Greetings!

Our team is very grateful to you all for your support and interest in Tracery of Fate. We will release a new patch with a lot of changes that will make the game process more comfortable, exciting and somewhere even scary (in a good sense of the word) already on October 24th:


  • New location "Arena" will appear in the Bastion where you can fight in splendid solitude or in the company of a friend, repelling waves of enemies rolling one after another or just come and test new skills and abilities acquired in the vastness of Alfira.
  • Improved optimization, because you always need to strive for perfection.
  • New sound design of locations (Tutorial dungeon, Bastion, Arena). Now the world of Alfira will become a little more real thanks to the sounds that will make your heart stop, your blood run cold, and a crowd of goosebumps will arrange a marathon on your back. Work on the sound design of the remaining locations continues.
  • We are also constantly working on improving the AI of opponents and interaction with them in battle, because the most interesting enemy is a smart enemy. The best one is dead. That is why our undead are the most interesting and best enemies. Some of these AI improvements will be added in this patch.
  • To celebrate Halloween with you, we add the first seasonal event to the game! Few plants can survive in the Bane. However, one such plant managed to get out of the ground and even bear its distorted fruits. Discount expected!
  • And many smaller changes.
