Performance update coming soon

The team have been working hard on some of the issues raised in these forums. We have made improvements in a variety of areas with the end result being some significant performance improvements on most hardware configurations.

We are busy testing the build to ensure we haven't introduced any additional problems and will announce the update release date as soon as we can.

We know that our fans are passionate people and we hope that as we continue to provide updates and improvements to T:ANE over time that we can make our community bigger and stronger than ever.

Update May 29: We've had a couple of problems preparing the Steam update. Rather than release it late on a Friday, we will be releasing this update on Monday - sorry for the delay guys.

T:ANE Release Day has arrived!

Thanks you to all our loyal fans who have been involved since the first Alpha build of T:ANE a year ago back in May 2014. We've come a long way since then and since the early beta in December that caused some interesting feedback.

Today we have reached the "release day" milestone which simply means that we are now happy to call the product "ready for release". Sure there are still things that need to be done, but rest assured we will be working on those and getting more updates out to you as soon as we can.

Tomorrow we'll post more details on the update listing everything that we have been working on since the last update, but meanwhile you can view this list of changeson our new FAQ support site.

Release Preparation

It has been a long and exciting journey for all of us and we are now hours away from going Live. :)

In preparation for the release we will be conducting some tests with the Deluxe Routes. This will result in all the Deluxe Routes showing up as 'Available for Purchase' in your Route Menu.

It is a controlled action and will be fixed as soon as the build goes live.

Thanks for supporting us and happy Trainzing!

Regards,
Sidds

Countdown to release day has begun...

With less than 48 hours until the release of Trainz: A New Era this is a quick post just to remind everyone that the pre-order discounts and bonus content from the Steam Store will not be available "shortly".

So if you have been thinking about joining us on the exciting journey as we continue to make Trainz even better, now is the time to "Get Onboard"

And for those who are already enjoying the ride, stay tuned for announcements on what is new and how far we have come since those early beta and pre-releases over the past 6 months.
