Transport Fever reaches review state
After two years of development, we are excited that today Transport Fever reaches the review state.
As of today, members of the press are testing the game. While reviews that include ratings will be published starting on November 8, content producers such as YouTubers are allowed to publish Transport Fever game-play already starting this Friday, October 28, 6 PM (CET). Therefore, expect a huge amount of unrestricted content to be available after that date.
Two weeks before the release we are confident that we were able to fulfil a big part of all the wishes, requests and suggestions that were raised over the last two years. We wanted to take the opportunity to express a big thanks to everyone involved in this process. Without the feedback and criticism that arrives us every day, Transport Fever would not be where it is now.
And finally, if you haven’t discovered it yet, we wanted to point you to the following release date music video, to be taken with a pinch of salt ;)

The whole team looks forward to the final two weeks and hopes that the fever catches you!
Final vehicle list
Today we have completed the Transport Fever vehicle list. In addition to a bunch of new locomotives, buses, trams and trucks, all cargo train cars have been added.
While the header image shows the European vehicles, the following image lists all American vehicles:
And, for the sake of completeness, here are all aircrafts and ships:
Transport Fever is shipped with 165 individual vehicles. They may look small on these images, but they feature quite a high level of detail, and we are very happy that we were able to realize this vehicle list as planned.
We understand that some of you want to see even more vehicles, also from other countries. For this reason, we made Transport Fever modding-friendly, and thanks to the Steam Workshop integration, sharing and installing additional vehicles requires only few mouse clicks!
At this point we also wanted to take the opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone who has already pre-ordered Transport Fever. It is a big motivation for us. And finally, as always, we very much look forward to your feedback and comments.
Gameplay preview and official release date
Both the Gambitious Digital Entertainment and the Urban Games team are incredibly happy to release the first Transport Fever gameplay video.
The 15-minute gameplay preview shows typical scenes from the endless game of the current beta version.

Also, we today officially announce the game’s release date. We are excited that Transport Fever will be available worldwide for Windows, Mac and Linux, on November 8.
We wanted to express our gratitude to all players of the former game Train Fever by offering a 15% loyalty discount. In addition, there is a 10% pre-order discount, and both discounts can be combined: so everyone who owns Train Fever on Steam will be able to purchase Transport Fever at 25% off up until the game's release. This applies to Steam players at least, details for GOG players will be announced a bit later. Please note that pre-order on Steam will start very soon.
As always, we say thanks for your interest and look forward to your feedback and comments.
Vehicle page update #8
One week before we announce the release date and show Transport Fever game-play for the first time, we unveil another ten vehicles.
This time, we added two locomotives, two trucks and six buses. Highlights include:
The 4-8-8-4 Big Boy, a real monster of a locomotive which carried the latest in steam technology.
The GE P42 DC, a recent diesel locomotive with a single, monocoque carbody design.
The Twin Coach 44-S, a typical American Twin Coach bus with a unique design.
The Daimler top-seater bus, an early top-seater bus which was in use in Berlin, Germany.
The Postbus ET 13, a commonly used motor-driven bus built in Austria.

We hope that you like the newest additions and look forward to next Wednesday, October 12, when we announce the release date and present a game-play video.
Developer blog #8: Campaign
We are very happy to today release the eight developer blog. This time, we present the basics of the campaign game mode.
By using an early beta version, we show some scenes of the first mission of the America campaign.
While two historical campaigns each consisting of seven missions are included in Transport Fever, we also wanted to emphasize that thanks to modding and Steam Workshop, additional campaigns or challenges can be created and shared by players.
Please find the corresponding video on our website:
We wanted to take the opportunity to address the current most frequent question, which is about the release date. The release of Transport Fever is still scheduled for this fall; the specific release date will be announced on this website in two weeks (October 12). This is also the date when we for the first time show Transport Fever game-play.
As always, the whole Urban Games team says thanks for your interest and looks forward to receive feedback and comments.
Vehicle page update #7
The vehicle page received another update today and now contains all airplanes and ships which will be included in the release version of Transport Fever.
The very exceptional designed Lockheed Super Constellation concludes the list of now 10 airplanes.
From the sternwheeler Klondike up to the modern motor vessel Graf Zeppelin, the diverse newcomers expand the existing fleet to 13 different ships for cargo and passenger transportation.
In addition, various new street vehicles from Europe and America were added to the list.
Please visit the vehicle page to find out more about the new additions:
http://www.transportfever.com/game-info/vehicles/
We will still expand the comprehensive pool over the next weeks, among others with additional street vehicles and cargo wagons.
Developer blog #7: Town simulation
We just released the seventh developer blog video. Today we present how towns look and feel in Transport Fever.
Towns form the basis of the game and consist of residential, commercial and industrial areas. Each resident is individually simulated and lives in a specific house. People have places where they go for shopping and where they go for work. Commercial and industrial buildings require end products of the cargo chain. The better a town or city is connected with passenger and cargo lines, the faster it will grow.
Since the game starts in the year 1850 and time progresses through the eras, it was a big challenge to develop the town buildings so that they adapt to the eras and change their look. The growth and look of a town is highly dependent on the player’s transport infrastructure.

As always, the whole Urban Games team looks forward to receive your feedback and comments!
FAQ page updated
We are very happy about the mostly positive feedback which we receive since having presented the alpha version at gamescom in Cologne. A lot of new questions were raised, in particular about the campaign and the differences between Train Fever and Transport Fever.
Consequently we decided to update the FAQ page once more to address these questions.
Currently it is full steam ahead for work on the beta version. Anyway we will supply you with new information on a regular basis also over the next weeks. So we would like to invite you to further write comments and give us feedback!

Vehicle page update #6
The vehicle page received an extensive and important update today: Passenger wagons and middle cars from multiple units, a core part of the rolling stock. More than 20 models from Europe and North America were added to the current vehicle list.
Our selection includes numerous famous and popular examples from the rich railroad history, like the historical Pullman cars, the very luxurious American Heavyweight Parlor or the cutting-edge double-deck wagons which are still in service today in many European countries.
A distinct highlight we would like to point at is the interior of vehicles. In the game individual seats are visible through the windows and passengers are really seated there. In addition, wagons age over time and the player can put logos on the wagons and even change the painting color.
