Feedback on these new maps is desperately needed. Please let me know what you think.

Color commentary:
Hidden from view are changes to the game's systems in general. This is the second "full game" I'm making. With the first one really being done to learn how to program, and get a tenuous grasp on how to work in Unity. In that sense it was successful, in every other sense it was not. I started this project because my awesome parents-in-law gave me a raspberry pi as a birthday present. As they gave it to me they said:

"Now you can make a game for it, and we can all play it when we're together again in December."

My birthday is in November. For those of you not familiar with the Gregorian calendar November is only one month away from December. I panicked as one is might expect, then I started considering options.

  • I wanted the game to be fun.
  • I wanted it to support multiple players locally.
  • I wanted it to be easy for beginners to pick up, as my in-laws are not gamers. More importantly, I wanted the game to be enjoyable in a family/party setting with players of different skill levels.
  • I wanted the game to be appropriate for all ages. Again I wanted it to be enjoyable in a family setting.
  • I needed to have an MVP ready in a month. Working on it while I had school and a very busy work schedule.

This was how Code name Pop-pals started.
