A few small changes, enjoy.



<*>Decreased distance at which skill coins and hero coins migrate towards player.Skill coins and hero coins should be less glitchy now.

<*>Hero Coins are no longer located on the HUD.Your total hero coins can be viewed on the skill screen.Having both the hero coins and the skill coins on the HUD was a little confusing to players.Hero Coins were always just meant to be a "little extra" for the dedicated Saint fans, I don't want them becoming too distracting during normal game play.For every two hundred plus hero coins you find your musket will change in appearance.

<*>Added book explaining difference between hero coins and skill coins.
Skills coins (Yellow) are used for upgrading skills. Hero Coins (Blue) change the look of your Kuna Musket based on your total.Hero coins save over when you exit Saint.



To clear up some confusion.

<*>Trigger Saint no longer has a "perma death" mechanic, saves were brought back before full release.Saves stones are located in each of the three hub rooms throughout the game.Save stones are tall stones with scribbled glyphs on the front.Press the "F" key while standing in front of these to save your game.To load your game click the "continue" button on the main title screen



A Tip

<*>Been through the tutorial rooms one too many times? When you first spawn into the game you will see a teleporter on the floor close by, shoot directly to the left of it a few times.If your shots find their target you will unlock the teleporter that takes you directly to the first hub area.

A small patch including some major HUD changes and a few small bug fixes, enjoy!




<*>You can now hide/un-hide the item and score section of the HUD by pressing the Ctrl key.

<*>Item, note and book descriptions now show up on the bottom left side of the screen.

<*>The combo meter text will now show up below the health,spirit and stamina meter while HUD is hidden.

<*>Mouse read distance for notes and books has been increased.

<*>Books and notes can no longer be read while shooting or moving, descriptions popping up during battle proved to be very distracting.

<*>Added two new books to the starting hub area, one explaining the save stone and one explaining how to hide the HUD.

<*>Fixed problem with walking/running sounds, running sounds would still play even though stamina was depleted.

<*>Saint will now stop when you click “off screen” and wont get stuck in run mode.

<*>The combo leader board has been reset.Do not worry your highest combo will re-load the next time you open Saint.

Trigger Saint Full Release!

What an exciting day,Trigger Saint is finally out of early access!




None of this would have been possible without the Trigger Saint fans and community. When things were hard the fans were always there to keep me going, I cannot thank you enough.

In the end it isn't just about "making the game", it's about making making new friends, having fun and learning from others along the way.

Saint has been a part of my life for quite a while and it's definitely sad to bid it farewell. Be easy on him, he's new here

I am pleased to announce that Trigger Saint will be coming out of Early Access tomorrow around 10 A.M.!

I also have a few more small changes for ya in this small pre-release patch.








    <*> The options screen has been given a few updates, before the only screen resolutions that were available were 1920 x 1080 full screen and 1600 x 900 windowed mode. Now there is an option for windowed or full screen along with 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 900, 1366 x 768 and 1280 x 720 resolutions.

    <*> For those with slower machines I have added an option for turning off the in game clouds, I don't recommend turning these off as they add to game immersion but if you are having problems with choppy game play then try turning them off, it might help.

    <*> The intro story now has a voice over.

    <*> The requirements for the"Trigger king" achievement have been changed from 5000 kills to 2000 kills.

    <*> The achievement for a 100 kill combo has been removed.

    Highest combo leader board fixes,new artwork for the red zone boss, a new achievement and a few other small changes await you in patch 1.2.0.0.







      <*> The red zone boss (Boss 2) has all new sprites and animations, his weapon has been updated as well and now has hands.



      <*> New Achievement, “A Legend Is Born” Complete a 100 Kill Combo.



      <*> The “Master Of Transmutation” achievement goal has been changed from 500 items transmuted to 300 items transmuted.



      <*>Reset the “Highest Combo” leader board. Highest combos will no longer upload to Steam unless they are higher than 0. Dont Worry! your highest combo will automatically re-upload to Steam when you fire up Trigger Saint.

      It was a rough weekend, lot's a problems with Saint's steam api, leader boards and other bugs. But yet again Saint has made it through the storm to bring you some cool new achievements and a new leader board with version 1.1.0.0.








        <*> New Achievements

        "Memories In The Machine" Find the room of the creator.

        "Master Of The Battlefield" Score a 25 kill combo.

        "Divine Strategist" Score a 50 kill combo.



        <*> New Leader Board "Highest Combo"

        Saint now has a new leader board "Highest Combo". Show em what you got!



        <*> Boss three's sidekicks in the Blue Zone now have 700 health instead of 500.

        You can expect save wipes with each new patch until release, sorry for the inconvenience.

        LEADER BOARDS!









          <*> SCORING SYSTEM

          I grew up playing classic games, high scores were of high importance way back when. I thought it only fair to bring a scoring system into Trigger Saint. You can now keep track of your in game score as your play through story mode, your score can be found in your HUD. You can raise your score by killing enemies,opening books, breaking chests, picking up items and doing many other things.When you die or "exit to main menu" your high score will be saved. For the time being your high score can be seen on the title screen, lower left.

          But wait there's more...

          <*> COMBOS

          Combat in Trigger Saint is about getting into the zone, flowing like water, destroying large groups of enemies within seconds . I wanted to bring in a mechanic that would encourage players to play Saint how I originally wanted it to be played.There should be times of rest but in combat I want to encourage high speed attacks/dodges all while balancing your stamina,spirit and combo counter.
          Trigger Saint is now fitted with a unique combo system, kill an enemy then kill another right after and you will start the combo counter.Glowing purple letters spelling the word "combo" will appear below your HUD "combo x1" and will continue to increase as long as you keep killing enemies in quick succession. If another enemy is not killed soon enough your meter will vanish, you will be rewarded points based on the number you reached x2 (so for a 32x combo you would receive 64 bonus points.) It still needs some tweaking/balancing but I hope it can be a welcome addition to Saint gameplay.


          And that's not all...

          <*> STEAM LEADER BOARDS

          Yes... you heard correct, Trigger Saint now has it's own leader boards on Steam! Whenever you die or exit to the main menu your score will be automatically uploaded to the corresponding Steam leader board.(Only if your current score is better than your previous best). You can find leader boards in the community HUB under stats. The Story Mode high scores leader board is already up and running, to get the ball rolling I have set the first official score! Let's see what you got!

          <*> NEW ACHIEVEMENT

          I have been promising this one for a while now and it's finally here, the achievement for defeating the third boss (Blue Zone). "Trophy Kill"

          Emergency Patch 1.0.8.0

          Trigger Saint Patch Notes 1.0.8.0 9/14/2015





          This is an emergency patch to fix breaks in the green zone and red zone levels, to any of you who found them... I hope you had fun off in the clouds!

          With the current save system saves become corrupt when I patch so saves have been wiped.I was hoping that I wouldn't have to patch this soon, I am very sorry for this inconvenience.






          Besides the fixes to breaks in levels I have made a few other changes as well




            <*> The static orbs in the green zone did the same amount of damage as static orbs in further levels, this has been changed. Static orbs in the green zone now only cause 2 damage.

            <*> Fixed "Nuts And Bolts" depth problems.

            <*> A new audio track has been added to the track list.
