Hello community!

This week we want to talk about the characteristics of the Interplanetary Portal. The objective of the game is based on protecting the Portal from enemy invasions and also using the Portal to travel to other planets and destroy their bases and their Portals.

POWER CHARGE SYSTEM:
The interstellar Portal has an amount of energy, but it is necessary to increase this energy to travel to other planets. The amount of energy needed will vary depending on the distance to the planet.

The Portal has some slots that allow the insertion of uranium batteries that supply energy. You must collect uranium and charge them for these batteries to work. You should check periodically the amount of fuel they have to recharge them.

SELF-DEFENSIVE SYSTEM:

You should know that the Portal will consume energy when traveling through it. But it will also consume energy if its self-defense system is activated. Each time an enemy approaches the Portal, a beam of energy will be automatically activated that will kill the enemy, but also consume energy from the Portal. Therefore, one of your objectives will be to protect the perimeter of the Portal so that no enemy can access it.

Hello community

This week, among other aspects of the game, we have been working on the crafting ability. We have incorporated the crafting menu into the main inventory menu so that we can craft some basic elements on it.

Additionally we are creating some elements that allow us to perform other types of specialized crafting, such as a 'particle accelerator' to be able to divide the molecules of some elements and obtain their basic chemical compounds (such as oxygen, hydrogen and others). These basic chemical elements will allow to create other more complex chemical elements. For example we can create sulfuric acid (with chemical formula H2SO4) combining 2 hydrogen atoms (H), 1 sulfur atom (S) and 4 atoms of oxygen (O) that we will obtain from other elements or extracted minerals and resources of the subsoil. We hope that this 'chemical crafting' allows a greater variety and complexity in this important aspect of survival games.

Triton is a rich planet in minerals and resources. The game will allow to obtain not only the resources that are on the surface of the planet, also those that are in the layers of the subsoil.

Initially you will be able to obtain the resources of the surface by hitting the rocks and minerals that you find. As you progress in the game you will be able to manufacture blasters that will allow you to extract resources with greater comfort and speed.

To extract the resources from the subsoil you must build mechanical extractors. These gadgets will allow you to drill the subsoil and get the precious resources. First you will be able to know the different minerals that exist below the position of the extractor and the depth to which they are. You must supply fuel to the extractor to make it work and select the depth of drilling, depending on the resource you want to extract.

Hi community,

This week we are working on the progression of the character that will have a system to improve skills through experience points. As in other games of the genre, each action will have a reward in experience points that will raise the level of the player. Each time your level increases you will receive points for unlocking your character's abilities.

You will be able to improve a wide range of abilities of your player that will improve your capacity of resistance, displacement, strength, agility and others. You will improve the characteristics of your jetpack, your armor, your resistance to hunger or thirst, radiation or temperature. You will also improve your health and reduce your fatigue by performing different actions.

Also, level progression will allow unlocking a technological tree to be able to crafting increasingly complex elements of construction, storage, weapons, vehicles and others.

Ultimately we want to get that as you progress in the game and as you dedicate hours of your time your character is getting better. You will need it, beacuse the invasions of Triton will be increasingly lethal.

Hi community,

This week we have been working on the integration and features of the jetpack. The jetpack will significantly improve your movement dynamics in the planet Triton. The jetpack will allow you to run at high speed, make great jumps and even fly, reaching inaccessible areas, such as the floating asteroids of Triton's atmosphere.

All aspects of the jetpack will can be improved as the level of experience of your player increases, which will allow the speed of displacement is higher, the height of your jumps is higher, the warm-up speed of your jetpack decreases or let it cool more quickly.

We have also been working on the graphical interface that will be shown on the screen, which will give you warnings of the jetpack's warm-up, of what moments you can activate it and which keys you should use, so that you are informed at all times about these aspects.

As in other aspects, we will listen to the community during the Early Access period so that you can give us your feedback about the jetpack and the improvement proposals that you want to contribute.

Hi guys,

This week we have been very busy creating and updating our website (including a presskit for the specialized media of the videogame sector), updating our twitter, our facebook and this Steam page.

The purpose has been to present information about the game including the argument, main features and also graphic material (videos and screenshots). Although the game will continue receiving new content and features gradually, for now we have been able to show the game to the world.

We hope that the game concept like you. If you want that we incorporate some feature into the game, let us know in the discussion forums of this Steam page.

Another important aspect is that we have started a small marketing campaign, getting in touch with some specialized media and press. Some of them liked Triton Survival and they have published news and requested us keys to make a revision of a prealfa version.

Today we start our journey together!

Today is a special day. We started the process of showing the community the project we are currently working on. Through these pages we will inform about the progress and improvements that we are incorporating to Triton Survival.

At the moment we have enabled this page on Steam, our website (DreamsSoftGames) and our (DreamsSoftGames Twitter).

Triton Survival will have many of the elements present in other games of the genre, but one of our objectives is to enhance the action and give greater meaning to the need to explore and collect resources from the planet. Little by little we will provide more details.

We plan to launch the alpha 0 version the summer of 2019 (we hope we can do it in June, if everything progresses correctly). That moment will be the beginning of our early accees stage in which we will work as much as possible to complete the game as soon as possible with the quality we want for it.

We hope to have the support of the community to pulish the game and to try to incorporate your feedback that contribute to making the game even better.

We will inform you on a regular basis of all the progress we make up to the launch of the game in early access and to complete the final version. For that we need your help!.
