Get ready to explore Megabando, our latest real-world freestyle playground! This massive abandoned structure offers endless lines, gaps, and proximity opportunities. Whether you're diving from the roof or threading the needle between pillars, Megabando is built for flow and creativity. This spot has been carefully scanned and optimized to deliver a true-to-life flying experience. Push your skills to the limit and show us your sickest lines!

Special thanks to Nochamo, the architect who fully modeled the architectural base of this realspot in 3D on his own and then sticked with us while our team optimized and integrated it in TRYP FPV.

For Mac users, this update with the MEGABANDO will be released after we manage to fix a problem with controller detection.






Small aditionnal features:



By popular demand, we’re introducing a simple version of Signal Loss simulation to TRYP FPV!
Now you can experience flying with signal interference, just like in real life. As you get closer to the map bounds, you may notice video glitches or even complete signal cutouts if you push it too far.

We know that Mac users are eagerly waiting for fixes, especially regarding crashes in challenges. Now that we managed to make a build for Mac with Unreal Engine 5.5, we will be able to start investigating issues again.

In the meantime, if you are on mac and are unable to play normally, feel free to go back to the legacy version in the Betas of TRYP FPV on Steam (right-click on TrypFPV in Steam->Properties->Betas->Beta participation->legacy - 2023 Legacy version.

We are happy to present to you this regular update with the simplified physics factors and the latest real spot: Alizol.

Physics improvements are on the way! While we continue our extensive R&D with Physics Matcher, we’ve introduced simplified physics factors to give you more control over your drone’s handling. This is just a stepping stone—our partnership with ONERA (french National Office for Aerospace Studies and Research) and access to a wind tunnel will allow us to bring even more accurate physics to the game in the future!

If you are not comfortable with detailed physics parameters, you can now customize the drone physics with only 7 sliders :

  • Power: Adjusts the thrust power of the propellers.
  • Max Speed: Increases the drone's speed.
  • Grip: Modifies air resistance during turns.
  • Friction: Modifies overall air resistance.
  • Gravity: Adjusts the intensity of the gravitational force.
  • Mass: Changes the drone's weight based on gravitational force.
  • Air Lift: Modifies the intensity of the force exerted perpendicular to the drone's movement direction.

We are also pleased to let you fly in the new real spot Alizol that was tested and approved by some experienced pilots. This location was scanned by one of our team members with a camera to capture every details from the real world!

🐞Quick note about the current focus for bug fixes 🐞


We are aware of some remaining issues with radiocommands sticks not being recognized and are actively working on finding the root cause and fixing it. Also, we have not yet made any progress with the Mac version as logs we currently get are not helpful in findin the cause of the crashed. However, we do not give up and hope to bring you more pleasant news about this issue next time!

Let's give you our vision of where TRYP FPV will go, how and why.



Our last update 6 months ago was mandatory to simulate a correct drone torque and motors ' behaviour into TRYP FPV - Thanks a to BF PID system. ✅
But, we quickly realized it was not enough to reach the ultimate physics and make every pilots happy, because of aerodynamics complexity. We had to find a way to improve it but this is not an easy topic.
So, we made the difficult decision to delay all our updates (including multiplayer, map editor, etc.) until we reach our goal, even at the risk of causing frustration.🥵

Since 2 years we launched the early access, physics has became a new priority for us.
In fact, before offering you a great game, we want to give you the most realistic FPV Simulator ever.

🎯The great news is that we found a way to make it !



With a new collaboration of @betaflight, and the support of a lot of great pilots we have developed a new tool that has never be seen in a FPV simulator - We imagined a "digital twin" technology process for FPV :

  1. We import and run a flight blacklog with GPS to generate the real trajectory into the simulator.
  2. We run the commands of the same flight blacklog but with TRYP Physics to generate a 2nd trajectory.
  3. We match both trajectoires and behavior by tweaking physics factors.
    And boom ! 💥 No discussion needed about physics anymore, just validate it visually.

Our tool, "Physics Matcher", will analyze a blackbox to get the right aerodynamics, motors, acceleration, gyro, position, PID, Rates at each moment with decimeter precision.
The next update should close the debate about how should be physics in a FPV simulator.



📝We realized this technology is probably more powerful than we thought, it could replace a wind tunnel study in some cases and it will probably find new specific uses in the RC industry.
It also helped us to measure precisely, adjust and find new ultra complexe aerodynamic forces like lift and airflow... this is improving so much realisms of the feel of flight.

👀Of course, physics is obviously not everything for a great game, and here are the other great features you will find in the update coming in few weeks :

Fixes, improvment and new 7" drone

Our latest update was complex and crucial, and some problems weren't detected during the beta test.
This is why your feedback is extremely important to us, as you can see in this patch where we've taken them all into consideration.

Welcome to a new drone, Chimera 7 pro V2 !
New drones will be arriving swiftly, and new maps are already in progress. Multiplayer functionality is also in the works. 2024 is approaching rapidly, and just like our new features, you can trust us on that!

About the spinning effect, it was something you didn't like, so we increased the PID overflow to eliminate wild spinning upon impact by default.
If you want to put it back as it's reflect reality, simply set the Overflow parameter (in the GLOBAL section) to 2000; this is the default value in Betaflight.

NEW PHYSICS SYSTEM with Betaflight, NEW UI & UX, NEW SPOTS, and more

Earlier this year, we embarked on an entirely unexplored territory, unprecedented in any other FPV simulator at this level of detail.

The Betaflight team themselves shared their invaluable insights and assistance, aiding us in the direct implementation of their original algorithms and source code for PID management.

TRYP FPV will now operate with the authentic Betaflight PID system, generating movement based on the torque created from independent rotor thrust, and this is a total game changer in the world of FPV simulators.

This is the reason why our update was significantly delayed. We made the challenging decision to temporarily suspend the development of multiplayer and content in order to prioritize refining the flight experience.

Our primary focus was on delivering the most advanced physics system ever integrated into any FPV drone simulator. We sincerely hope you will appreciate it, and we promise that the next update will be released more frequently.

During this period, we have also developed additional features and content, such as a fresh UX & UI, new spots, etc.
