- Fixed a bug with starting NG+ not transfering items to Sidor's locker. (requires restarting the NG+ by leaving Tunguska again)
- Added some finesse to gamepad and mouse auto-aim. If there are two enemies on top of each other (one on second floor), you can push the gamepad right stick all the way up to prioritize aiming at the higher elevation enemy. You can do the same by moving the mouse up and down while auto-aiming to "toggle" between the two.
- Option "Gamepad combat camera rotation" now applies to both melee and firearm aiming
- Fixed a bug with Sanatorium level quest where your personal state isn't properly reset when you wake up
- When using a sniper/scoped rifle with gamepad/auto-aim controls, if you are not locked onto any enemies, the scope will not show up. This is to reduce motion sickness when the scope "hops" around.
I would like to thank everyone for your patience. A game like Tunguska is literally uncharted territory in the gaming industry - there are so many ways combat and exploration can feel awkward with the 3D, top-down, real time combat against gun-wielding enemies. I don't know if I can ever make it perfect for everyone, I'm just trying the best I can :) Really wish there was another game just like this that got everything right so that I can learn from it, but I don't think such game exists...
Update 1.85-9 Patch Notes (Boris Quest Bug FIx)
I apologize for creating a new bug a day ago, which causes the Boris quest to be stuck when you get his note. This patch will fix this issue. All you need to do is to go to anywhere in Ashinaka and bring the note with you. Right-click to read the note and then close the inventory. In a few seconds you'll see the journal being updated.
Thank you for your patience!
Also, a couple of other fixes included:
- Moved the Editor Office scene to its own scene without all the other unrelated assets. This is an attempt to speed up the loading time when you start a new game.
- The Oblenska munitions bunker door will be unlocked when you give the key to Vladmir, just in case you forget to check it out before losing the key.
Update 1.85-8 Patch Notes
- Fixed a bug with human NPCs aiming at you without shooting for a few seconds
- Disabled the obsolete "slots" that sometimes can be seen on the far side of the screen when looting a body
- Fixed a bug with rifle scope becoming very dark when used underground, with Line of Sight rendering enabled
- Weapons that can cut trees will show an indication in the description
- Improved auto-aiming, making it favor targets that are on similar elevation as you
- Moved the radio on player house desk so that player doesn't have to cycle between it and the desk storage

Update 1.85-7 Patch Notes

- Added an option to allow right-stick to turn camera while holding melee

- Fixed a bug with soul crusher not charging a soul stone when strangling a friendly NPC

- Moved the ravens near Sanatorium further away so that player doesn't accidentally aim at them during combat
- Fixed a bug with kicking doors sometimes pushes player into the wall

- Fixed an issue with normal map on terrain not showing very clearly over distance or angle
- Fixed an issue with medkit/ingredient jar window stays open but the game believes they are closed
- When hovering over the medkit or ingredient jar, the weight will now show its own weight plus the weight of all the contained items
- Ensured the flour generated by the mill will not fall through floor
- Allowed Invert Y axis option for ARPG/ARPG2 control schemes

Planned Upcoming QoL Update, And The Future of Tunguska
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for your continued support and patience :) I have recently gathered a significant amount of feedback and I have planned some Quality-of-Life updates for the game. Namely:
- An option to disable toggle-to-sprint
- A "via route" information to be displayed on the motorcycle page when selecting destinations
- Allow setting invert-Y for ARPG/ARPG2 control scheme
- An option to enable rotate camera without combo button with controller during melee combat
- Move the Manhattan Weekly editor office to its own scene to improve loading time
Hopefully, I will have this update completed in a few days. I will add more here as I receive more feedback and feature requests :)
I also wanted to let everyone know what I'm working on for the future of this game. I'm working on porting the game to XBOX, which is a major endeavor since I have to redo some of the controls especially cursor-related. I hope to complete it within a month or two. This means after the QoL update, I will most likely put the game on change-freeze since I can't possibly manage two separate builds by myself :)
Once the XBOX porting is completed, I will formally begin working on a sequel. I have started writing the background story for now, and I'm very excited to bring more maps, more drama, more challenges, and more fun time to you :)

Update 1.85-4 Patch Notes

- Slightly reduced the HP of Scythes
Update 1.85-2 Patch Notes
- Added a "blindness" effect for when you get infected with Tunguska Syndrome, to be more cannon with Roadside Picnic lore. This effect is less visible in normal mode, but is very obvious in hardcore or nightmare/dead zone mode.
- If the windchimes are causing you discomfort, you can press Backspace to open the console, and then type "windchime off" to disable all the wind chimes in the game. If you want to undo this, then type "windchime on".
