TY2 Update in Open Beta - New content!
Hi all!
Struth! A new TY2 build, chockers with goodies!
How do you get it?
Quit and relaunch Steam to make sure you get the lastest build data
Right click on the game in your library and select "Properties"
Change to the "Betas" tab
And select "experimental" from the drop down! (no password required)
Why Open Beta?
There are a LOT of changes and we want to make sure that things work well across a variety of different hardware configurations
So we'd love for people to give it a fair shake of the sauce bottle, and let us know any issues in the Bug Sub Forum
Please see the pinned "Sending Krome Studios pub reports" post for details on what we'd like if you hit an issue

Small fix for clamping of UI art in shops.

Fix for camera popping out of water when TY gets hurt or does a claim (picks up a collectable) underwater.

Controls
Reset to Default no longer removes bindings for non-rebindable keys.
Don't require the player to neutralise the input when changing to first person view camera before it will begin responding to input.

Crash Fixes

Massive Level Design Changes With Impacts Beyond the Realms of Space and Time
Removed duplicate Naomi from Burramudgee.
Save Games
Fixed issue with loading an original save game (from a very early build when the game was in Early Access) not loading correctly with latest code.
UI
Wiggle controls (eg to shake off Frills attached to Bunyips) string updated to handle gamepad and keyboard controls.
Bunyip Mortar control instructions now gives the correct controls for all languages. (Left/right stick were swapped, and no mention of Right Trigger to fire, in non-English languages).
Fixed subtitles for non-English languages, that had broken button icons displayed
Fixed the text that is displayed when the game cannot find a TY2 save game
Fix for dunny not animating when playing all tracks or random tracks (ie, multiple races without returning to frontend between).

TY2 Build r3499_v108 Released - Hardcore Mode! And, TY3 now in Early Access
Hi all,
A new build of TY2 (r3499_v108) has been released.
The major addition to this build is the new Hardcore Mode!
In Hardcore mode we've removed all bonus lives and respawning - you literally have life to get through the game. If you do happen to lose a life; we helpfully reset your save game and restart your adventure.
We've added two new leaderboards (Hardcore Game Complete and Hardcore 100% Game Complete) and two new achievements (Completing the game in Hardcore and 100% Completing the Game in Hardcore) for your troubles!
We hope that this provides a little bit of replayability for you all (and maybe bragging rights!). And cheats are disabled in Hardcore mode :)
Additionally, we're happy to announce that TY3 has been released in to Early Access! As part of TY3's release, TY1 is currently on sale to celebrate; and if you own TY1 or TY2, you should receive an extra bonus discount for buying TY3 during this first week of Early Access - as we've increased the launch discount to 22% across the board!

Lastly, the following bug fixes are also in this new TY2 build:
ART: Made grill texture in the Never Never doublesided, so it draws correctly from both directions.
ART: clamped edge pixels of the mouse icons to stop icon corruption
ART: Increased the number of maximum explosions that can render at once
ART: Disabled timed-bonus Christmas skin costume
ART: Re-added support for grass overlays
CART RACING: Tweaked the difficulty of the AI to try to ensure people don't get stuck losing races, forever.
CONTROLS: Fixed a force clamping bug where large movement forces can change your direction when only one axis is clamped.
CONTROLS: Fixed support for sneaking when using KB&M (SHIFT key by default)
GAMEPLAY: Fixed the "react to bunyip punches only" flag, so that the vehicles blocking the A-path in the first level can't be blown up by rangs, causing a non-progression issue
MISC: Crash fixes for various thread-safe issues
MISC: Prevent mouse from changing button selection or clicking on buttons while rebinding an action to fix a crash.
RANGS: Fixes to the doomerang controls
UI: Moved some overlapping arrow buttons to lessen sound spamming when moving around them with the mouse.
Cheers
