The next exciting update for TY1 has been released. It's a larger download than normal (700MB or so); mainly due to the updated pre-rendered videos. In this build:
NEW FEATURES
Added "low/med/high/custom" pre-set graphics options to options screen; with better auto-setting for NVidia cards.
Added SSAO, Bloom and Color Correction post-effects. Not available for Intel cards. Only tweaked fully for for the first 5 levels (the others have default values).
Added high-res grass and shifted grass calculation to the GPU to help with CPU bottlenecks. High-res grass not availabe on Intel graphics cards.
UPDATED FEATURES
Higher resolution pre-rendered videos, for all languages, from original 480p BETAMAX source tapes (upscaled to 720p).
Updated texture for various critters

A Preview of the Next Update
Hi All,
Thought I'd drop you a line to show a quick preview of the major item coming for the next update.
We've been Squeavering away (TY2 joke there for you) at a bunch more graphical updates:
SSAO
Bloom
Color Grading (hue/saturation/intensity shift)
Grass improvements to add some dynamics, and improve density - including running the grass on the GPU instead of the CPU; to help with our CPU performance
(note that the SSAO/Bloom/Color Grading post processes will not be available on Intel graphics cards; and the Grass improvements will have a low/high option - defaulting to "low" for Intel graphics cards).
This is how its looking at the moment (in GIF format for you):
We have a bit more to do, in setting up the values throughout the levels, but it'll be coming soon.
Oh - we've also got the as-high-res-as-we-can videos ready for all languages too, so that'll be in the next update (so the download will be a bit bigger than normal).
We're entering the home stretch as far as improvements goes. While we still have some audio updates to do, the majority of the remaining items to resolve are things like updated localizations, improving the look of the UI screens we've added (eg leaderboards) - and getting that "speed run" leaderboard I want in there! :)

A new build (r804_v0.71) has been released and is now available.
Updates in this build:
NEW FEATURES
Trading cards are now live
MSAA (Anti-aliasing) is now supported (off, 2x, 4x, 8x). Set it through the Options->Screen menu. Note that you will have to restart the game to apply the changes. MSAA is supported on Intel cards.
CHANGES
CHEATS: The cheats have been changed to using the new control bindings; so that keyboard and mouse can also activate the cheats. Some achievements will not unlock in a save game in which you have used cheats (eg, getting all the 'rangs).
As an example of the change, Infinite Health is now:

Build r763_v0.67 Released
Hey all!
A new patch has been released.
The changes in this build are:
NEW FEATURES
CAMERA: Added settings to control the camera speed in first person / third person for input devices (controller and keyboard and mouse). Found in the "Camera" section of the options.
KEYBOARD AND MOUSE: Added mouse pointer icons and ability to mouse click to UI elements on Main Menu, Pause Menu, set
GAMEPLAY: Made boss zone portals be able to be revisited after you've defeated the boss. Still testing and checking, and need to make sure it doesn't cause issues with gameplay progression, so this may be removed again... Please let us know any issues.
UI: added visual elements to tell you that you can change between levels on game info, change between rang information, etc
GRAPHICS: Stop the Doomerang from aborting one of the Thunder Egg collect animations (the one where you throw the rang)
UI: Made the portal show a keyboard icon to enter it, not only use Controller icons
VIDEO: Alternative 720p HiRes video test added to recheck performance on lower end devices. Anybody how had FPS issues with the test video last build, please try in this build and let us know!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
GRAPHICS: Turned off RenderTargets for OpenGL < 3.0 and put up a message in options indicating lack of support for shadows, reflections and some other effects. Should be backwards compatible with previous settings.
UPRES: Sly texture upres, for Sly used in cutscenes
UPRES: Bite effect textures
VIDEO: 1080p test video added (HiRes Test, in "Extras" on the main menu) for us to get information from users on video playback speed of hi-res videos, on various devices
CAMERA: Improved above to below water (and vice-versa) camera transitions
KEYBOARD AND MOUSE: Added some mouse smoothing
GRAPHICS: fix window move/resize
GRAPHICS: fix cursor visibility when alt-tabbing out or clicking back in.
SETTINGS: fix saving of camera invert controls - was using a different name to Read the settings than it did to Save the settings.
SETTINGS: Fixed bug that wiped keybindings if you went into the keyboard/mouse settings screen and exited without going into the keyboard bindings screen.
