Alright, this is going to be a quick one, but this hotfix should make the menus more-accessible and fix the bug where the resolution either doesn't save or it randomly resets.

August 6 Hotfix
Hey, Chris here with two quick fixes for Tyrannis.
Resolution can now be selected in the Settings Menu. Just go to "Options," "Resolution," then "Preset" to change the screen resolution to any preset options.
The Region Controller map overlay is fixed.
Anyways, that should do it for this update. See you all around.

Tyrannis July 16 Hotfix
Hey, Also Chris here.
There were a few minor spelling errors for the game, and I figured I should tweak the Reconquista Mode gameplay's balance so you don't have to play out 100+ turns if you've already reached the victory objectives.
Also, there are some endgame fixes so the correct factions will now show up now when the game is over.

Tyrannis July 15 Hotfix
Hey, Chris here.
Thanks to your guys' feedback, I've been able to identify several glitches with the save system in the Reconquista mode.
Now, you'll be able to save your progress, and the general save system for Skirmish mode should load the correct data.
Thanks again for all your feedback! -Chris Lawrence Still the Only Employee Here

Tyrannis: Final Update (And Sequel Launch)
It's been a while, hasn't it?
Yeah, that happens when you develop an entire game with a new storyline, campaign, and features, but we'll get to that later.
Well, except for the fixes.
The Fixes
Fresh Coat of Paint
Back around the end of 2022, I was basically reworking the entire UI for Tyrannis. Sure, it looked fine, but the glow just seemed too much, if that makes sense.
Unfortunately, fixing the Steam assets was something that had been on the backburner these last few months, but it should match the new UI.
Bug Fixes
The major one we have is the Enemy Unit Count in the State Info box. Normally, any state with 20% Rebel Support or higher would show the exact number of mercenary units in the state.
Due to an oversight, the State Info box for a state wouldn't show the exact units because the code was missing. That has been fixed.
Then there's the Player Intro at the center of the screen. The wrong sprite was used to show the player info, and that led to the sprite from the Faction Creator being used. That has also been fixed. Also, the debug keybinds have been removed.
Yup, that's why I've been MIA for a while. Been devving a whole new game.
Built on the foundation of Tyrannis' gameplay, Tyrannis: Co-Prosperity offers:
40 Maps. Take the fight to the Kirihara Group, the world's largest zaibatsu across East Asia, from Manila to Bangkok to Tokyo!
A brand new campaign with multiple endings. Not only will you have to fight the Kirihara Group's Security Force across East Asia, but you'll have to wage a war in the shadows to root out their infiltrators.
Expanded Faction Creator.
Conquering enemy-held districts will provide loot that can be used in the brand-new campaign mode for Skirmish and Campaign Integration.
Conclusion
Anyways, this concludes what might be Tyrannis' final update.
It's been a Hell of a ride, and I want to thank you for playing the first game I have ever developed.
See you in East Asia! -Chris Lawrence Literally Everyone at cGh ONE

May 1 Hotfix
Here's a quick update that should further-optimize performance on the post-launch maps.
-Chris Lawrence Still the one guy here at cGh ONE
Tyrannis April 22 Hotfix
Hey everyone, Chris Here:
This one should be quick, but Tyrannis' performance should be greatly improved.
Basically, Tyrannis only has to render a single large sprite for borders instead of potentially hundreds to thousands of small sprites.
This should reduce lag by a lot, but if there are problems, just let me know.
Hey, just a quick update to improve the game's performance.
So, I looked through the code and managed to improve the FPS a bit by reworking some old scripts.
Should run a lot faster now when playing on the custom regions.

Tyrannis Reconquista Update
What Is Reconquista Mode?
Reconquista is Tyrannis' new campaign mode, where the turn-based guerrilla warfare gameplay of Tyrannis takes on a roguelike twist.
Create your own custom faction and fight across 18 maps as you liberate Latin America from a mercenary-backed coup.
As you progress, you'll be able to further-develop your custom faction.
Just be sure to think things through, because failure means starting back from square one.
You have 9 Lives, 18 Regions to Liberate, and One Mission:
Kick every single corpo-backed mercenary out of America.
Minimap Update
The Americas can be a big place, and it's pretty easy to get lost there. So we added a minimap to help players navigate the map.
Now, you can click on the minimap to travel to that point on the map, which means no more dragging the mouse around in the dark to find out where you want to be.
Additional Bug Fixes
The Northern Mexico map had a few problems with unit placement. Should be fixed now.
State information will now display the correct units and show the unit types.
Gameplay is optimized across all maps.
Player income is now updated in real time.
Summary
And this about does it for Tyrannis' Reconquista Update.
Unless something happens, this is going to be the last major update for Tyrannis, besides bug fixes and optimization.
Now, I'll be doing some much-needed major updates on Infinite Voyager, along with maybe another Tyrannis game, if I have the time.
I hear the Russian Empire still exists in the world of Tyrannis, along with Colonial Africa and a Megacorp-dominated East Asia
It's been a hell of a journey, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped me get here, from my family, to my Kickstarter backers, to all the indie devs who welcomed me into the community.
And of course, you the player.
So from the bottom of my heart... Thank you. -Chris Lawrence Literally Everybody at cGh ONE
