Just wanted to let you know that there are a few graphical updates that'll help improve gameplay:
End of game screens will not block out menus.
When playing on regional maps, rebel players will no longer highlight out-of-region states when moving around.
Anyways, that should do it for this update.
Reconquista mode's coming along well. Here's a quick peek at it:

Tyrannis 26 December Hotfix Notes
Updated eagles in the Capture the Eagle mode to be more-consistent.
Ensured that Capture the Eagle works.
Locked Reconquista Mode. It's not ready. Yet.

Tyrannis Christmas Hotfix
Okay, that should fix the graphics glitch for the Americas map.
And the deployment text should work as well.
Unit numbers should also be the right color now for all the maps.
Anyways, I'm gonna go sleep now.

Tyrannis: Reboot Update
Because I can't go vanishing for a few weeks without explaining where I've been, can I?
Or months, I guess.
Anyways, I've been working on the update for Tyrannis to improve the entire UI.
As in, all of it.
Everything should look a lot cleaner now, with a new green tone that should be easier on the eyes.
That, and I fixed that custom faction icon glitch with the swords icon.
Anyways, trailer is to come out in a few hours.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Tyrannis: Bolivar's Legacy Update
Ah Colombia.
Home of beautiful beaches, bountiful resources, corrupt corporations, American nationalists, and corrupt nationalistic American corporations who would like nothing more than to have it back under their control.
Yeah, those guys are jerks.
And you're going to have to chase them out. Again.
New Maps
Venezuela
There's a saying over there: "Plant the oil." Well, our mercenary friends seem to be more interested in taking the oil and planting the locals. That's going to have to change.
Colombia
The coca plant is one part of Colombia's vast flora. Somebody should emphasize the "vast" part, because it seems like the local mercenaries and their bosses have a disturbingly large interest in this cash crop. Which means they'll have to go from here, too.
Ecuador
Back in the Spanish Empire, the Spanish would treat the native people like second-class citizens and exploit them for their labor. The mercenaries of Continental Armed Security Services (CASS) are proud to continue such a tradition. You're going to continue the locals' tradition of shooting at people who do that.
And that's another update in the bag!
Sorry for the delay. Needed a week off for mental health.
Next update, "Libertad," will be coming tomorrow.

Tyrannis: Por La Unión Update
When asked about Peru and Bolivia, a man once said that his country could coup anyone they wanted to, and that the rest of the world had to deal with it.
The people who actually lived in those countries begged to differ.
Performance Upgrades
A few performance upgrades should decrease the lag on all of the updated maps.
New Maps
North Peru
Lima is the heart of Peru. And oh boy, are you going to need a lot of people to hold it.
South Peru
The Andes are a perfect place for a rebellion, and an utter pain to do counterinsurgency in.
Bolivia
Santa Cruz and La Paz are the two centers of Bolivia. And an occupying force is going to be hard-pressed to hold them both.
And that does it for this update! I hope you enjoy it!

Tyrannis Steamdeck Hotfix
So, it turns out Tyrannis works on Steamdeck.
If you need to set the resolution, go to Main Menu, Options, and then Resoltiuon to adjust until you're satisfied with it.
Now, I will have to warn you that you'll have to configure the game for controller, since Tyrannis was designed before the Steamdeck was released, but that's the beauty of something being completely customizable.
I actually looked at the dates, and it's been over a year since the last update.
Yeah... sorry about that. Lot of things got in the way
Somehow attracting Qanon followers.
Nearly crashing my car.
Nearly dying multiple times.
Hospital visit.
Doing a bit of OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) work at the start of Russia's war.
Getting bombarded by conspiracy theorists over said OSINT work.
Basically stopping updates because I didn't want anything to do with people who seem disturbingly eager to shoot their neighbors.
But now I'm back, and feeling better than ever.
So, what's in this update, anyways?
Audio Fix
Yeah, that one has been bugging me for a while, so I added some much-requested fixes for audio, from volume sliders to fixing echoing.
New Map: Amazonia
Welcome to the Jungle. We've got Malaria and Angry Merc-Fighting Guerrillas.
New Map: North Brazil
From forests to drylands to forests, the only thing this region has in common is a dislike of occupation.
New Map: South Brazil
Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are two of the biggest cities in the world. You'd need an army to hold them.
Anyways, it's good to be working on Tyrannis again. I want to thank all my friends and family who've supported me over the years. Because now that I've got my life in order, I can get back to working on this.
But if this game can raise even five dollars to help people, then it will be worth it.
I know it's not much. But God-willing, it might do some good.
Now let me be clear to any Russians or Belarusians who might be reading this.
I know I have a few players over there. And some of you guys have VPN.
I do not hate you.
You are not your government.
You are not tyrants.
You did not start this war.
The fact that so many of you are bravely standing against this war is all the proof I need.
And if this message somehow reaches Ukraine, I only have one thing to say:
I wish I could do more.
Until then, take care.
And Sic Semper Tyrannis.
