UEBS is now almost 1 year old. Hard to believe! We have some exciting things coming your way.

A new update will be released on April 1st (Not an April fools joke). The update will feature 10 hidden game changing Easter Eggs. For each Easter Egg first found, that player will be rewarded a $100 Steam Gift card!! Each player can win multiple gift cards if he/she finds it first!

We are also adding some changes and fixes to the game. Let us know in the comments below what you want most in this update!

Edit: Details for the competition are coming soon. Keep in mind, some Easter eggs will be easy to find, others, not so much.

Update V1.3 Now Live! - FPS Invasion, New Map, Performance Boost And More!



The wait has been long, but version 1.3 is finally here! Here are some of the exciting new things in UEBS version 1.3!


- New game type, FPS Invasion. Fight off hordes of zombies and creatures in first person, with your team of elite soldiers. Rounds are infinite and the numbers never stop increasing. Collect loot and reinforcements from air drops. I promise you have never experienced a round based invasion game like this!

- New map, 'Jungle Island'. Map is featured in the new Invasion mode as well as the classic sandbox. The map was created by one of our latest members, Tim Gor.

- Vsync is finally in. No need to worry about your video card overheating in the menu!

- Performance increase. FPS has been increased, as well the over all smoothness and stability in FPS is improved.

Improved Mod Importing & Bug Fixes

Mod importing has been dramatically improved. If an error or any problems happen during import of a mod, the importer skips that mod and continues importing the others. If there are any mods causing problems or conflicting with others, an error message is displayed after import specifying which mod is causing problems, while the other mods should continue working.

I hope this helps clear up some of the problems people are having with import errors and mod conflictions.

Hot Fix - Strange Death Animation Glitch In Modded Characters.

The dreaded death animation glitch with modded characters has been fixed. Bug occurred with certain modded characters upon death, they would start flailing around with blood trails everywhere.

Some other small changes and fixes were made to mod importing system.

Hot Fix - Issues With Custom Units & Vanishing Modded Characters

Hey everyone, I've been listening carefully to your issues and addressing them as quickly as possible.

- The new issues with custom units not working properly in both the menu and in game have been fixed.

- The issue with modded units often vanishing(and often other normal units) has been fixed.

- Modded units size is taken more into account in both the spacing of the unit ranks and their collision with eachother. Keep in mind the battle editor still does not show the accurate army size of unusual size modded units. This will change soon.

- The animation speeds of running and walking better adjust to the size and speed of the modded unit.

Steam Workshop Now Live!





It's been a long journey, but mod support and Steam Workshop have finally arrived! Developing support for this felt like developing an entire new game in itself!

- Workshop now published.

- Fast and easy to use character setup tools for Unity engine.

- Tools for uploading/publishing your mod to Steam Workshop.

- Bugs fixed including custom characters not attacking.

- 3 mods published and ready to go!

**** UPDATE QUICK FIX
A hotfix was just released fixing some issues people were having in this update.


- Bug fixed where mods would not import due to unexpected steam apps install locations.

- Modded units now go to the new 'Modded Units' category. This will make it easier to find all the modded characters.

- Bug fixed that caused unit dropdowns to show nothing.

- Footman hit force fixed.

- Test modded units were accidentally left in game, and have now been removed. They may have been causing errors and bugs (Super Bebe & Undead Cop)

Steam Workshop & Modding - Update On Development Progress




Hello everyone! I wanted to give you all an update on the progress that has been made in development of mod support for UEBS. First I want to thank you all for your patience and support, I couldn't ask for a more supportive and active community!

It's coming, don't worry! The actual development for the character mod tools and importing are basically finished and are in beta. Now the next step is integrating Steam Workshop. Try to understand, mod support requires a large amount of development time, it's challenging creating user friendly systems like this while making it streamlined and fast. It's required thousands of lines of code.

Thank you all for your patience. I hope to have this out in under a week or so.(please do not quote me on that)

PS, That annoying bug with custom units not attacking will be fixed!

Mod Support Coming Soon! (Drag and drop Character model Import)

You heard right. Mod support is on its way! After many long hours of
development, today was the first successful test of a drag and drop character model import into UEBS. Simply rig your character in Unity with Mecanim, add the UEBS Character Setup script, hit the export button, and BANG! Your character is now in Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator!

Note: Any character PROPERLY rigged in Unity engine should work with UEBS. The character must be rigged with Unitys mecanim or legacy animation systems. UEBS will allow you to choose available humanoid animations in the game or you can use your own custom animations if you wish, though some limitations apply to custom animations.

More information is coming soon, so stay tuned!!

Support for Steam Workshop is planned.
