Brightness/Whiteout Bug & Calvary Customization(Hotfix)

- Calvary can now be customized.

- Unity 5.5 Post processing plugins have been updated. (Hopefully brightness/whiteout bugs are reduced)

- Menu scene now loads characters on demand. This decreased load time for the menu.

Other small fixes and changes were made.

Another Hot Fix!

Hello everyone, Robert here. I've been working long hours to try and solve some of the crashing issues people have been having. I also have some other updates as well.

-Crash cause by rain(and snow) particles is now fixed. Seems the cause was Unity engines particle system, so I took it upon myself to design my own particle systems for weather effects(Still WIP)

-Spearman can now be customized.

-Exit to menu delay fixed. Issue was cause when attempting to exit while in possession.

-Some clean ups made in memory in menu in attempts to speed load time.

Hot Fix (Crash bug & Load progress)

Quick update for those who are experiencing crashes during loading. Crash was caused when user clicked on the screen during load triggering windows to think the program was not responding. Load screens now also show load progress.

Beta Release & Performance Tips

Hello everyone! I'm Robert, the developer of UEBS. So the beta is finally released. I want to thank everyone for the amazing support so far! I want to cover a few things in this thread. Being an early build, there will be bugs. Please report any bugs you find on these forums. Below, I want to give everyone a few tips about performance and understanding the graphics settings made available.



First, I want to state that the crowd system requires memory. Crowds are made of a great deal of meshes which require memory. If you are having memory problems, try lowering the 'Character Animation' quality in settings. This plays a huge factor into the amount of memory used in this game.


Second, the rest of the settings play a significant role in the overall frame rate and performance you will get in the game.

- The jump from high to ultra shadow quality is one of the most noticeable performance differences. This is because each character casts his own shadow in Ultra.

- Character LOD can have a fairly significant impact on your performance but can make the characters have LOD popping issues when on low.

- Terrain settings affect the over all detail in the environment terrains and trees which can also have a significant impact on FPS.

That mostly covers performance tips. I hope you all enjoy the beta, I'm so incredibly excited to continue working on this game and see what you all do in this sand box!

Hello everyone. I'm Robert, the developer of UEBS. First I would like to thank everyone for your amazing support. I'm extremely excited to get this game into your hands, and I cannot wait to see what you all do in this ridiculous sandbox.

Many people have been asking about the price so I thought I would post it here. The price of the game will be just under $14.99 USD for a limited time(Price will vary by country). The store price will be $15.99 USD, but there will be discount on release to reward those who support the game early(On Wednesday).

Note: There has been some confusion about the game being 'free to play'. This is because of users giving it that tag. Please refrain from doing so, as it can cause confusion.
