Director’s Letter Vol. 2
You may be surprised by this change in director since the previous Director’s Letter, so I would like to quickly introduce myself.
I am a developer who has been working with UNDECEMBER since before its launch,
and as a fan who has the utmost passion for the game, I feel a great sense of responsibility as I take on this role of director.
In this Director’s Letter, I would like to briefly tell you about some of the changes that will be coming to UNDECEMBER.
Since its global launch, UNDECEMBER has continued to offer its services and is being played by people from all around the world.
From the beginning of UNDECEMBER all the way to now, the direction in which we have taken the game
is centered on the most fundamental, fun elements of Hack and Slash’s uniquely exciting combat and item farming.
This is a direction that we will continue to pursue.
However, UNDECEMBER will also be going through a new period of change.
We are developing new methods of change so that we can make UNDECEMBER a sustainable game
that is well-loved by players for many years to come.
To explain some of the new changes in more detail, we are preparing a 'Director's Commentary' video, so please look out for that.
One big change that I would like to explain now is the fact that we will be integrating UNDECEMBER’s Korean and Global services.
After the two services are integrated, Korean players will be able to enjoy the same version of UNDECEMBER as global players.
To accommodate this integration, a Combined Auction House will become available,
which will allow users from all around the world to freely trade with each other.
This integration also means that you will be able to meet Korean players through UNDECEMBER’s Global service.
Finally, although UNDECEMBER’s developers and management listen to the opinions of users
through our official website and other various communities, we believe that we can do better to respond to these opinions.
We are thinking of other various ways through which we can communicate with users more in the future.
We will reach out and converse with you more often, and will try our hardest to become a game that creates fun along with its players.
We hope you will continue to show interest and support for UNDECEMBER.

- You can participate in this Lucky Dice Event by pressing on the dedicated icon at the top of the screen.
- There are 26 spaces on the Dice Board, and you can obtain the reward that is displayed on the space you arrive at.
- If you reach or pass by the starting space, you can earn a Start Space Pass Reward.
- You can check the list of available Start Space Pass Rewards in the lower right corner of the Board.
- You can only receive rewards if you arrive at the spaces on the Board.
Some spaces have Special Rewards as well as basic rewards.
- If you arrive at spaces with Special Rewards,
you can throw a Golden Dice and take up a Challenge to obtain a Special Reward.
* Even if you fail the Challenge, you can try again if you own another Golden Dice.
- You will move along the spaces of the Board in the direction of the yellow arrow,
but you will be able to select which direction to go in if you arrive at specific spaces.
■ How to Obtain Dice
Lucky Dice
- You will get 5 free Dice every day during the event period.
- Lucky Dice can be obtained through field drops.
* You can get up to 15 on weekdays, and up to 30 on weekends.
- They can also be obtained through paid rewards in Rune Hunter Pass Season 8.
Golden Dice
- Golden Dice can be obtained through Start Space Rewards or through field drops.
* For field drops, dice can be obtained by chance when you defeat a boss monster.
* For field drops, up to 3 dice can be obtained on weekdays and up to 6 can be obtained on weekends.
- If you disassemble a Golden Dice, you can obtain 2 Lucky Dice.
- Golden Dice can also be obtained through free rewards in Rune Hunter Pass Season 8.

Zodiac Web Simulator (beta) Open
To help Rune Hunters with their journey through Traum,
we have created a Zodiac Web Simulator (beta).
The Zodiac Web Simulator that we will be providing at this time is a BETA version.
It will be officially opened in the future after we have continuously worked to improve its usability.
With this Zodiac Web Simulator (beta), you can test online how your stat numbers increase
when you use your Zodiac Points, before you actually play the game.
Apply the number of Zodiac Points to the Zodiac you plan on using
and see how your stats increase in the 'Effects' section of the page.
To use more Zodiac Points on other Zodiacs,
press the ‘List’ button or the ‘Home’ icon at the top-right side of the page.
The BETA version of the Zodiac Web Simulator will be available in the languages outlined below.

◆ Recruit Party Feature
A new ‘Recruit Party’ feature will be added to the Recruitment Board.
✔ You can use the new feature through the Recruitment Board in each Act Town or in Saluto.
■ Recruit Party
- You can use the Recruit Party feature through the Recruitment Board.
When creating a Party, you can provide information about the Party you want to recruit by setting a Party Name, Party Type, Party Objective, required level, and conditions for joining (whether or not it can be joined immediately).
- You must enter a Party Name in order to create a Party.
- The name set when creating the Party can be freely changed by the Party leader later.
- There is a 1-minute cooldown time before you can change the Party Info.
- If a Party has the ‘Instant Join’ button set to OFF, you can only join with the approval of the Party Leader.
If you use the ‘Promote Party’ feature after entering your Party Info,
a Recruit Party message will be posted onto the Recruit Party Channel.
- If you click on Chat in the Recruit Party Channel, an application for joining the Party will be automatically sent.
- The Promote Party feature has a cooldown time of 10 seconds.
The Party Leader can check the list of users who have requested to join through the Party Info UI.
Party Members cannot see the Join Request List.
- The Join Request List will only display up to 50 users.
You can only request to join a Party if you are not already a member of another Party.
- You can request to join once every 10 seconds.
- If the Party you are trying to join has already entered Group Content, you will not be able to request joining the Party.
◆ Descent Raid – Season 6
- A new season of Descent Raids is coming!
✔ You can enter the new raid through the Recruitment Board in each Act Town or in Saluto.
■ Descent Raid Details
- A new season of Descent Raids, Sicus and Vilam, is coming!
Sicus will start on Mar. 8 (Wed) and last 2 weeks, whilst Vilam will start on Mar. 15 (Wed) and last 2 weeks.
When the raids open, select the boss for the raid before matching and entering.
The raids’ opening times will be the same as previous raids.
- The required level for entering the Sicus and Vilam Descent Raids is Lv.80, and the party size is 8 players.
- Descent Raids are special raids that you can only enter at certain times during the day.
- Once the raid is available, you can challenge the boss by either creating a raid party or matching.
- You can obtain a Unique Runestone once you defeat the Descent Raid boss.
- The Runestone you can obtain from the Descent Raid is Lv.100.
■ Shadow Mirror
- Collect Shadow Mirror Shards to complete the Shadow Mirror and receive rewards upon clearing the Descent Raid.
- You can still defeat the boss without completing the Shadow Mirror, but you will not be able to receive Clear Rewards.
* Shadow Mirror Shards can be obtained from the field or through Chaos Dungeon drops.
* You cannot obtain any more Shadow Mirror Shards once the Shadow Mirror is fully completed.
■ Additional Rewards
- Defeating the Descent Raid Boss can lead to additional rewards such as DMG Rewards and Clear Rewards.
┗ DMG Rewards – Can be obtained depending on your highest Total DMG score from your encounters.
┗ Clear Rewards – Can be obtained by repeatedly defeating the Descent Raid boss after completing the Shadow Mirror.

The number of rewards for when an event is not taking place may be different.

◆ Ruins Destroyer: Magroth
Ruins Destroyer: Magroth will be appearing to challenge Rune Hunters.
│ This invasive species that came from the void has the strange power to distort its environment.
│ Protect the ruins meant for the 12 Gods from the threat of destruction.
■ New Raid Details
- The required level for entering the raid is Lv.90 and the party size is up to 8 players.
- Ruins Destroyer: Magroth is a Physical Element Lv.120 Raid Boss.
- With this new raid, new achievements and titles will be added.
- Available rewards for clearing the raid include Gemstone of Courage and Runestone Selection Chests.
- You can enter the new raid through the Recruitment Board in each Act Town or in Saluto.
- Once you enter the raid, you will be randomly matched with other players.
If you enter the raid as a pre-existing party, you will only need to recruit players to fill up missing spots.
- You can enter the ‘Ruins Destroyer: Magroth’ raid once,
and the entry count will reset every week on Monday/Thursday at 09:00 (UTC+9).
- However, your entry count will only count when you have cleared the raid.
In other words, you will be able to enter again if you fail to clear the raid.
◆ Brown’s Lucky Dice Event
- A new event, ‘Brown’s Lucky Dice Event’, will begin!

- The phrase, ‘Is not applied if Abyssling explodes or is dismissed’ will be added to the tooltip for the ‘Shadow's Portrait’ item.

- The issue where Avatar Curse skills are displayed on the floor when applied to some monsters will be fixed.
- The issue where players spawn into the Chaos Dungeons when reconnecting to the Select World screen

- The convenience of the Charm UI will be improved.

- Improvements will be made so that the aspect ratio on some Android devices is displayed properly.

- The accumulated stat stack count of Darkness Energy will be increased from 100 to 9999.

✔ Void Rift – Season 8
- The previous season of Void Rift will end, and a new season will begin!
- Your Void Rift progress, Rank Points, and reward history will reset every season.
- The boss monsters and levels of each area will also change once the Void Rift is reset.
- You will not be able to receive the previous season’s rewards once the season ends,
so please be sure to collect all rewards before maintenance takes place.
- The Void Rift season will take place for 3 weeks.
✔ Rune Hunter Pass – Season 8
- Rune Hunter Pass Season 7 will end, and a new season will begin!
Players can complete missions and obtain rewards up until the season ends.
Rewards can no longer be obtained once the season ends.
If you have any activated rewards, please collect them before the end of the season.

✔ Chaos Ticket Exchange Event
- The Chaos Ticket Exchange Event will be ending.
※ Please note that once you access the game after the Mar. 8 (Wed) maintenance,
your Chaos Cards will not be automatically converted into Chaos Tickets.
※ You will not be able to exchange Chaos Tickets once the event ends after the Mar. 8 (Wed) maintenance,
so please make sure that you use the tickets before then. Unused Chaos Tickets will be deleted.
✔ Valentine's Day Package
- The Valentine’s Day Package will no longer be available to purchase after the Mar. 8 (Wed) maintenance.

✔ Void Rift
- The issue where the boss monster Inqubo becomes connected through effects
to a monster that it does not summon, will be fixed.
✔ Link Runes
- The issue where the Armor Penetration Grade Effect is not applied for DoT Increase will be fixed.
- Changes have been made to the Slaughter (Truth) effect.
✔ Skills
- The issue where damage is sometimes only applied once instead of 2 times when doing combo skill hits will be fixed.
- The issue where some skill videos do not play will be fixed.
- The issue where certain Avatar’s Active Skill (Earth Shock) does not hit will be fixed.
✔ Items
- Changes will be made so that the Chest items below can be stored in the Warehouse.

- The descriptions for certain options of the ‘Fingers of Life and Death’ item will be corrected.

shows as if it has been applied twice in certain situations, will be fixed.
✔ Tooltips
- The issue where cards show as being available for Auction
when checking the card tooltip in the [Exclusive] Unique Chaos Card Selection Chest will be fixed.
- For the tooltips for Sentries and Abysslings that use Projectiles, the missing tag, ‘Cannot use Parallel Shot’, will be added.
- The phrase, ‘Is not applied if Abyssling explodes or is dismissed’ will be added to the tooltip for the ‘Shadow's Portrait’ item.
✔ Other
- The issue where Avatar Curse skills are displayed on the floor when applied to some monsters will be fixed.
- The issue where players spawn into the Chaos Dungeons when reconnecting to the Select World screen
after clearing a Chaos Dungeon and returning to Saluto, will be fixed.
- The issue where some languages are not displayed properly
when attempting to continuously enchant Charm Tier Change Essences will be fixed.
- The issue where some text is hidden when looking at the Alchemy guide page in certain languages will be fixed.
- The issue where effects remain in Gear Slots after Normal Crafting will be fixed.
- The issue where identification results are not reflected when identifying registered Cards during Card Growth will be fixed.
