UPDATE #18 is now available!



In this update, I fixed all known issues that caused characters and locations to not load correctly. Please let me know if you encounter a naked guy behind the wheel)
After a long and difficult work, the game finally supports localizations into different languages! Contact me on Discord if you want to take part in translating the game into your native language.

In this update, a lot of work has been done on the engines. Now they have more characteristics, and therefore a greater impact on the cars. A new manufacturer has appeared in the game - SATAMA - engines with more power and acceleration, but also higher fuel and oil consumption. A new place of interest has also been added, which will not leave fans of westerns indifferent, and a new thematic decoration for the radiator grill.

I'm glad to announce that testing is finished, UPDATE #16 has been released to the main branch! During the entire testing period, more than 1000 changes and fixes were made - world generation 4.0, the save system was changed (old saves will not work, but this was a necessary step), dozens of kilometers of new roads were added, new points of interest, a new item system, a new car spawn system, new items, new car parts, new weather (including sandstorm), a new economy and much, much more.

Finally! All critical and annoying known bugs of the beta version have been fixed (I hope)! Now you can safely carry tires and rims in the trunk, listen to music and paint your car. More fixes in the save system - the car will no longer be able to fall into the ground when loading, the generation of items and locations now works correctly. Also, the balance of food / drink and healing was revised, now you do not need to eat tons of food to get full.

The previous cars - Farmer, Wrangel and Cobra - have returned to the game - they can now be found traveling around the world. As soon as you find any of these cars, they will be permanently added to your parking lot in the starting location.
The economy in the game has been globally revised - it was very strange that in the desert some paint costs more than water. Prices for items are still in the process of being balanced.
The character needs system has been changed, it will be more difficult to play on the standard difficulty setting, but you can always customize the game for yourself. This system is also in the balancing stage.
Car tuning has been slightly expanded - side mirrors have been added that can be installed on car doors. Like other items, they can also be found in places of interest.
A small bonus - a trash can has started working in the starting garage (it is next to the sofa) - by placing unnecessary trash in it and closing the lid, it will be removed from the game. Even in the post-apocalyptic world, you can now keep things clean!)

IMPORTANT!


When loading a previous save, items in the shops will not appear. You need to reload the world - either drive through the next tunnel, or (if you are at the starting location) press the "return home" button in the pause menu. You need to do this once, the world will reload and the shops will work as they should.

Work on the update took WAY longer than I planned (and it's still a work in progress). Without exaggeration, this is the most important update in technical terms ever. The game save system, world generation, item generation and mechanics were completely rewritten from scratch, hundreds of bugs were fixed. Character classes were added, gameplay settings, an NPC generation system was added (for now only traders), SANDSTORM, and, of course, many kilometers of new roads were added (new places are still in the process) and various menus were stylized.
After a little testing, I will start adding all the previously planned content. Get ready, it will be VERY dusty!
