Holidays are over and I am back again, ready to roll and troll. :-)
Right now I'm working in:
1.- Insert extra items in the Steam version. By doing challenges you will get Unepic Credits that can be exchanged for special items.
2.- Dubbing to English: Around 90 actors sent their samples, and we are now selecting who will give voices to dialogs in the game.
29 july 2013 : HOLIDAYS
Hi!
Unepic holidays are about to start. They will take the whole August.
During holidays a few tasks will be doing:
- Casting for voices (Unepic will have English voices for dialogs).
- Architects will design new levels using the latest tools inserted in the editor.
Next tasks in Unepic that will be done:
- Try to reduce the LAG in multiplayer.
- Uploading custom maps to WorkShop so other players can download an play them.
- Insert "special items" that will be unlocked by doing the "challenges".

Hi. I'm now working in some improvements in the level editor, so architects can finish their dungeons and we can all have more dungeons to play in.
26 june 2013 : TEXTS PEGI12 + ARMORS
Guys, you already have 4 players in COOP. I keep waiting your feedback.
Also fixed a few problems with the groups as it was scheduled (ghost players).
Now it is time to deal with the "adult content free" texts. These texts will be optional, created for parents that want to let their children play and people who are not comfortable with currents swears + sex.
I am also working in change the calculation of reduction of armors to something better.
24 june 2013 : 4 PLAYERS IN COOP
People is demaning 4 players in COOP instead of 3. Next version will include 4 players in coop, so we all can test how it works.
Besides, looks like there are still problems in the automatic group finder. I am also working in this.
In the meanwhile I am looking for a solution to share items. It is a very hard problem but I am still investigating.
20 june 2013 : CONTROLLER BUG FOUND + ANTI-CHEATS
Two more days of burocracy and answering emails... :-/
But tonight, with the help of a player, I found the issue of shortcuts in pads and fixed it, so in next version pads will work ok.
I am also working in an anti-cheatEngine process to prevent cheats.
18 june 2013 : TOWN LEVEL 1 DONE
Hi again. Town level 1 is now available in v1.43.3. There are vendors to buy weapons, armors, spells, essneces and arrows.
Next step is to fix a large number of small bugs, issues you have all reported.
17 june 2013 : BUROCRACY
Nowadays I am working in burocracy: answering all emails (tones of them), answering all posts in both Spanish and English forums in the web (there are a lot), and fixing a few major bugs that appeared.
I am writting down all issues, comments and suggestions you make.
So, as I am only one and you are a lot of people, I can not do everything at the same time, so I will try to planificate.
As soon as I finish with all burocracy, the first thing I am going to work is in the "TOWN LEVEL 1", inserting vendors that sells things like basic equipment, arrows, etc. So, feel free to make your suggestions. Also will let everyone enter withtout the "key of the mine".
Feel free to write your suggestions about "TOWN LEVEL 1".
Please, avoid other comments of other things. We wil deal with everything at its time.
Version 1.43.7
1.43.7:
- new: included "reset controls" option.
- changed: included "absortion damage" in armors. Now they are stronger agains melee & projectile attacks.
- fixed: gamma in a top-left square
1.43.6:
- new: "adult-free content" option.
- new: included in shops all tomes dropped by pure spirits (just in case someone sells them by accident).
- changed: armors are calculated different (they absorb percentage of damage)
- changed: improve armor and improve weapon can only be casted over main characters.

- fixed: volume of laughint goblins is now set to the FX volume.
- fixed: DUMP ERROR appeared sometimes.
- fixed: description of "green robe of concentration" now appears ok (right now in English & Spanish)
1.43.5:
Multiplayer:
- chagned: now cooperative supports up to 4 players.
- fixed: improved the group creation/search in order to prevent ghost players.
- fixed: 3 tomes of protection did not appear OK in the mage tower (Hero's Home).
- fixed: Included images for Steam achievements level 5 and 10.
1.43.4:
- changed: callibration of controller has been changed to prevent mistakes
- fixed: shortcuts did not work in controller when pressing buttons.
- fixed: line in Czech dialog made the game crash in the necronomicron
- fixed: sometimes buff spells remained active (the bar autocompeted constantly)
Multiplayer:
- fixed: crash in MP when sometimes a player entered a door or changed room.
- fixed: group chat in Russian / Chinesse / Japanese / Korean now works ok.
- chaged: "kicked without being GRUPO_STATUS_LOBBY_CLIENT" crash message now appears as a dialog box without making the game crash.
1.43.3:
- fixed: default mapping for XBOX controller is now ok.
Multiplayer:
- new: added tower of mages in the town to purchase spells and essences
- new: candles can now be fixed
- new: Ubuntu now sells weapons, armor and arrows.
- new: Undead vendor sells the "orb of rebirth".

- changed: reduced equipment damage when dying from 5% to 4%
- changed: no key is necessary to reach UBUNTU, the vendor.

1.43.2:
- fixed: items were gone if selecting level editor and after single player mode.
- fixed: search of groups had strange behavior (ghost players)
- new: in groups, the name of the character and level is also shown.
- changed: inserted more coffins in level 1.
- changed: included 3 coffins (instead of one) in the gardens before the bridge of goblins.
- some achievements of KEY OF THE ??????, were not ok in Steam.
- crash in groups when players with long nicknames (more than 15 characters)
- first message to callibrate controller (when detected) did not appear.
- simp. chinese, dutch, catalan and japanese texts updated.
Read this if you play Multiplayer
This is a list of things you might need to know about multiplayer before playing it. Please, open a new post to give your opinion about them.
1.- There is no tutorial: play single player first. People that tested multiplayer already played the single player mode, so we did not think about new players that wanted to play multplayer directly. While this is fixed, I suggest you play single player, at least the first level, to know how to play.
2.- Use INS (insert) key to activate CHAT. You can chat with people within the game using the INS key (can be changed in the main menu in OPTIONS > CONTROLS > chat)
3.- Items can be repaired. Repair them in the town (Hero's home, going right). You need the "key of the mine" to enter the houses, therefore, to kill boss #2.
4.- broken items After level 5, when you die, your equipped items are broken 5%.
5.- Hidden secrets There are hidden secrets behind false walls that can be broken if you hit them. In level 1, for instance, there are 3 hidden savepoints.
6.- Balancing Multiplayer is a mode that is in development. It is not finished and needs balancing and polishing. Your written opinions, seeing videos and LIVE streaming of players will help me calibrate the game to be as nice as possible.
7.- Be polite If you find something too hard, or you don't like how it is made, do not swear, blame and troll in the meeting point. First of all relax, then make a quick look in case someone thought the same thing and already opened a post, and then write what you don't like and how it could be fixed or improved. Something like "Hello, In level 1 there are very few savepoints and this forced me to walk a lot. I think that there should be at least 3 or 4 more".
8.- Sharing items You can not share items that have been aquired in another session.
Only items that drop in the current game can be shared.
This is not comfortable but for now it is the best option to avoid massive replication of items (cheating).
9.- Saving the game The game is only saved in cooperative mode. To save it, select "menu > session > save and exit". The game is not autosaved.
Use only "force quit" when the game is stuck.
10.- PVP not saving The game is not saved in PvP mode. So it doesn't matter how many things you spend/lose/break because nothing is saved.
11.- Recover a session If the connection is lost between the host and client, or if the client crashes, the character of the client will not be lost. It will remain in the host so, if the client connects again, he will continue in the same point with the same XP and items.
The only critical problem is when the host crashes.
12.- Dialogs Dialogs tell clues about what you will find. It is good to read them, at least the first time you play the level.
13.- Number of players The maximum number of players is 3 for cooperative mode, and 8 for PVP.
14.- The Halo If you are stuck, use the Halo to get back to the last save point (coffin).
