Hello! We've rebalanced game experience so hopefully more of you will be able to advance through the game. Change log:

  • increased chance for small health rewards from destructibles
  • Health packs in Shops restoration amount increased
  • Big Health upgrades as mission rewards chances increased
  • Biome 1 Corrupted Mech nerfed so it's less mean and punishing
  • Balancing biome difficulty curve and experience

Hello! We bring you a fresh update and fixes for better enjoyment of Uragun:


  • Gameplay experience rebalanced so it remains challenging for more experienced players but is not so punishing for more casual folks,
  • improved Legend and Map visuals for better rewards readability,
  • added some additional story lines,
  • some upgrades and menu descriptions are rewritten to inform better on game mechanics,
  • audio balance tweaks,
  • fixed bug in biome 3 preventing AI Tower objective to be completed,
  • some other smaller fixes and tweaks.

  1. potential fixes for rare bug preventing inventory screen from showing weapons and stats.

1.1.02 Balance Hot Fix

Hey hey, some good fixes for the weekend fun with Uragun:

  • Fixed bugs that affected biome 3 & 4 difficulty and prevented some enemies from spawning. Now it should be as intended, difficult but rewarding!
  • Weapons and plugins rebalancing to match intended difficulty balance.
  • New Overdrive Ready VO, let's see if you like this one more!
  • Some arenas' logic fixes.
  • Fixed audio bugs affecting unwanted music switching from combat to exploration themes.

New Toys Update!

We are back with 1.1 update aka New Toys Update! It took us a while to cook this build for you and we’re finally ready to share it! For the past two months we’ve been working tirelessly to address many of your valuable comments and concerns about Uragun. As mentioned in our previous Steam post, we had to choose and prioritize between what we all wanted to see in the game and what could realistically change a players’ interest in the game.

That being said, we have a lot of new cool content and features for new players, but also for Uragun veterans! We had a lot of fun making this update, from new weapon traits that sometimes change drastically how you play and use them, through splashy cool Plugins to new arenas and objectives. And the UI, filled with stats and bars for your convenience and better sense of progression. We hope that you will also like the direction and those changes will put a smile upon your face!

New Content

  • 12 new weapon traits that will make your gameplay more diverse and fun. Here's a glimpse:

    Bullet Swarm, one of Minigun’s traits that makes bullets orbiting around you


    And here together with Rocket Launcher's homing missiles trait


    Ricochet, Railgun’s trait that lets you apply a snooker-like tactics


    Multidisc + Disc Turret traits that will just wreak havoc


  • 10 new Plugins that will make your gameplay more strategic and exciting. Just a taste:

    Orbital Strike plugin that will smash your enemies when you dash close to them


    Turret Drone plugin that will watch your back if you let it charge itself in enemies’ close proximity

  • 2 new arenas in Barcelona with new Survive objective
  • New Nightmare mode (selectable from a map view) available to all players who completed the game
  • New story dialogues and voice overs
  • Additional music track in Barcelona

New Features

  • New UI with stats that will let you assess weapons, plugins, cartridges and traits and sense progression in a more clear way

  • You can now adjust your FOV in the menu
  • You can toggle aim direction cursor for controllers in the menu

  • New indicator system that will inform you on installed cartridges and plugins and their activation
  • New visual effects for all weapon mods, plugins and cartridges that are more informative and juicer

April 14th Patch Notes and Future Updates Plan

Dear Players! Today we come not only with a fresh weekly patch but also with plans regarding future updates. We want to assure you that we really listen to your feedback and consider everything you'd like to see in Uragun. That being said, we try to do our best to develop as much as we can given all the time and team constraints that we have.

Future updates


Now, after careful assessment of your feedback our approach is to both improve systems that we already have in game and develop some new content that will be just fun to play. Without further ado, this is what we are focused on now:

  • Improving overall experience of upgrades and progression so it feels more meaningful and fun,
  • NUMBERS! Yes, we hear you and it was our mistake to assume they are not so important to some of you. Let us apologize, they are important not only to make you feel but also understand progression more. This will require some UI rework and heavy design lifting as some of our systems (namely weapon Mods) are universal and comparing them with numbers requires a special approach, but we're already on it!
  • New cool upgrades: we are thinking about new Plugins, but also about new fun ways to use weapons or enhancing Heat Attacks. We are still exploring ideas here and probably will not be able to ship everything that we want, but let us know if you have some cool idea, maybe we will be able to develop it together!
  • QoL improvements (e.g. showing aim with controller, easier way to equip mods, fov slider etc.).



In this footage we are testing new effects on weapons

We plan to ship these updates within the next couple of weeks and will see how the game plays then. As we are already fully committed to the said updates, this week's patch is a bit smaller than previous ones, but we believe it’ll still make your experience more enjoyable!

This patch fixes and improvements:



  • First time user experience: onboarding and tutorials improved allowing to better feel and explanation of the game mechanics
  • Improved readability of LaserDisc Guardian combat states and feedbacks (wip)
  • Improved controls and movement when using Hammer Jump while Boosting
  • Improved audio track management so it should be triggered more consistently
  • Some new decorations in HK biome
  • HK enemy groups and spawns balance
  • Map and rewards generation system balance
  • Repair Drop Plugin patch so it doesn’t drop Health from a swarms like crazy
  • Jumper AI behavior fixed so it should not stuck anymore staring at you
  • Fixed Mech animation bug when skipped dialogue in tutorial
  • Lightmap fixes on multiple arenas
  • Other bug fixes and improvements

Game Update April 7th: New Enemy!



Dear players, it's been a week since Uragun 1.0 release and we are so thankful to all of you who played our game! We read and hear all your feedback and rest assured, it's very important to us. Next week we will share our plan for a couple of next updates that will include some highly requested features and changes. Until then, enjoy our weekly update!

New features and improvements



  • New Enemy: JUMPER! You can meet him in Hong Kong biome. You say "jump", he says "how high?".
  • Requested feature: loadout will save now from your last mission!
  • New "Overdrive Charged" indicator animation so you always know when it's ready.
  • Expansion Cartridges tutorial (ENG version texts only for now).
  • Hong Kong difficulty balance.
  • Improved audio mix
  • Multiple visual and game logic fixes and improvements on arenas.

  • fixed bug that prevented additional Charges to be added to inventory on a very specific use scenarios

Hot fix notes April 3rd

Hey there, we have a portion of hotfixes that should make your Uragun experience more enjoyable, happy shooting!

Fixes and improvements:


- fixed bugs with Japanese and Korean fonts rendering missing or wrong characters
- fixed Sand Guardian spawn point placement that could result in said Guardian cowardly hiding under the sand
- fixed rare video codec bug that prevented tutorial intro sequence from playing on some machines
- fixed damage HUD effects bug that made it stuck in blue color (blue is for lost armor only!)
- Barcelona arena fixed gate opening conditions that could break level sequence in some cases
- fixed rare crash on game exit
- Stone Guardian arena layout and attacks adjusted for better combat (and visual!) experience
- Skin unlock conditions balance
- some unreachable pickups and trucks ocd fix

Uragun Full Release! 🤖💥🎉

That was some crazy ride but we finally made it! We are not gonna talk about how many cups of coffee we had during development or stuff like that, it’s not important now. What is important is that our passionate and talented team of devs spent their last few years developing this game and we are super happy and excited to share it with you now!

We did what we could, and the best we could, to make this roguelite shooter shine. We hope you’ll truly have a blast with. We can’t wait to see what cool stories you’ll share with us while enjoying this revamped game that now supports replayability and customization of your experience!

For now, we must rest a bit and celebrate, as finishing games is not easy, but it’s very rewarding, and we wish you the same experience with Uragun! 🖤
