Uragun: Early Access update
Hello Survivors!
In line with the newly adopted strategy, Uragun will debut on Steam Early Access between second and third quarter this year.
„In December Uragun went through the phase of thorough external playtests. After those sessions we have acquired several wonderful ideas for the gameplay improvements. We have concluded that giving the players nearly-finished game is the only way to ensure its great reception and Early Access success. A polished, well-balanced game, which will then be updated with features suggested by the Steam community, is the best way to achieve our goals – creating a great final product” – said Marcin Marzęcki, CEO of K2P.
According to the development plans, the Early Access version will offer two gameplay modes (campaign and sandbox), expanded chapters of narrative, dialogues with voiceover, and experimental co-op mode for testing, along with many more features. The game will be priced at 14.99 USD.

Uragun: Meet the CHARACTERS!
Hello Survivors!
This is probably our last development update this year so first of all, we wish you all the best for 2020 and second of all - we've got some treats for you!
MEET THE CHARACTERS
Creating interesting, fast-paced gameplay is important, but we definitely don't want to skip other important things. In recent weeks we've put a lot of work into the characters of Uragun - their backstory and looks - and it's finally time to shed some light on this!
The Officer Sgt Jacob King
He’s the acting commander of the station’s military operations, but he’s not an actual commander by education or experience. He simply took over because he was there and took the initiative when someone like him was needed. The rest of the crew treat him as their equal rather than a superior.
The Scientist Zhou Fāng
CONCEPTS TBA
At the time of the crisis, she was in the middle of her grad studies in mathematics. She’s probably never going to get her Ph.D. now. She’s an academic, but she’s not omniscient. Her role on board of the station is primarily administrative. Part of her job is explaining the science behind the AI (and the tools used against it) to the crew.
The Comms Olena Hirna (but most people call her simply Lenka)
She’s a geeky self-learner who has grown up while the crises were already ongoing. Her main role on board of the station is the operation of the complicated communication array that keeps the station and the mech secure from AI software attacks.
The Engineer Emric Fabron
He’s an actual hardware expert with long-time experience in the field and an excellent educational background. He leads the entire tech team, but he still finds time for dealing with the equipment personally. He’s the informal “stepdad” of the crew, and he takes care of them as a dad would. He doesn’t believe in humanity’s survival, but he never says that out loud.

Uragun: Road to Early Access
Hello Survivors!
Early Access launch is inevitable (yay!) and we are really pushing things up so we could deliver everything on time - means the end of January 2020. So what are we up to at the moment?
NEW MAIN MENU
Soon we will be ready with you guys the fully animated game menu! So far we've got some of the stills that you can see below. The idea was to preserve the spirit of the hostile invasion on Earth and, well, the best way to show this is through a burning planet!
ROAD TO EARLY ACCESS
We've got a lot of going on at the moment and the list of things that we would like to deliver ahead of Early Access release is treated very seriously. Here's what's coming soon to the game:

Yes, we did it! The official trailer for Uragun is here and we are absolutely amazed by the feedback. So far the video has generated more than 105 000 views which kinda tell us that we're on the right path... A big, big morale boost so stay tuned for more!

NEW MAPS
HOORRAY! Finally, after all this time, we’ve implemented two new maps to our latest build. So New York’s Brooklyn bridge and part of Barcelona joins Warsaw’s district Żoliborz as the new arenas for fighting against AI. Each of them with their own design, objectives and different strategies to outsmart the AI. We’ve also changed Żoliborz visuals, but more about this in the next part.

As you may notice we’ve changed frequency of publishing our devlog. It’s not because we are lazy and we are slacking off, but totally opposite – we are pretty busy lately, because we want to show you something pretty big soon… :>
BUT FIRST THINGS FIRST!
For the past weeks we were working on some detailed and better visual effects for our game. We are currently focused on the EXPLOSIONS because, as you may know, there’s nothing better than good ol’ explosion to send the bad AI where it belongs!

This week we wanted to “show” you something completely different. As you know soundtrack is one of the most important part of any game experience. We also know it, so we want it also to be very crucial part of Uragun gameplay.
Every map in Uragun will have it’s own music, which will change according to what is currently going on on the screen. The soundtrack will be different when you are peacefully exploring the terrain, when enemies starts to approach your mech and eventually when there is a lot of action, AI bots are flowing from all directions and you need to think fast how to stop them from destroying the world.
Take a quick “look” of what our sound designer and composer, Anthony, made. This is just a short part of music from only one map, so there’s more to come and to wait for 😉
