New Baby Duka Game About To Launch On Steam! (trailer)
Hi all followers and Baby Duka fans :urbansocial: Today I'm proud to announce the launch of a new teaser for my current production: DASH - a 2D platformer creation tool for creative and competitive players. In the colorful and sometimes far our style of Baby Duka. Custom physics built for solid control (speedruns), and an atmospheric editor which will feel like your second home after a while. I'm very excited to share more content and news with you once the game's store page is ready. I'm aiming to reveal the Steam presence of DASH late July/August 2018! It's going to be a 100% community-driven experience with a program designed for UGC, the Workshop and free monthly updates with new heroes, blocksets, game modes and much much more.
New Baby Duka Game & Urban Pirate's 2 Year Anniversary
2 YEARS SINCE THE RELEASE OF URBAN PIRATE
Mid June 2016 the crime simulator 'Urban Pirate' was launched on Steam and around 500 pirates had themselves an urban adventure. That's about two years ago and for that reason we're practically giving the grimy game away - it's 75% off (1,50€) in the store until 5th of July.
The game was the first to be produced entirely by Baby Duka and was self-funded. The Copenhagen-based audio producer B Magic Samples delivered an original and fresh pack of sounds and songs.
The game was later ported to Linux.
October 2016 Urban Pirate was nominated Best Idea at the VII Annual Independent Games Festival in Bilbao.
Two years after the release over 6000 units have been activated on Steam (though only 17 reviews...), at least 60 people have completed the merciless and almost impossible 90s VGA-like game, 1 person made a guide, and over 100 gameplay vids are uploaded.

Urban Pirates Celebrate 1 Year Anniversary June 16 & 17
On June 17th (June 18th PST) the grimy, petty crime sim launched on Steam after being on Greenlight for about 5 weeks, and 10 months of intense development. A terrifying yet extremely exciting episode in the history of Baby Duka Games, and here we are one year later.
Baby Duka, the artist and developer behind UP, has made this childish, and naïve peace to give the game a fresh capsule for its birthday :urbanhappy::urbanspraycan:
