Ubuntu Build Fixed (Missing files-bug fixed)
Hey all Linux gamers!

If you are so cool that you got your hands on Urban Pirate and unfortunately had a bad case of :urbaninsane: here's good news for you, because the package is fixed and you should be able to download and play the game now.

Here's some street credit for you all and lets hope it works it's working :urbanhappy::urbanhappy::urbanhappy:



Also there might also have been issues with the DLC (soundtrack package). So if you haven't checked it out and you own the game go bounce to the 8-bit masterpiece :urbanspraycan:

Urban Pirate Is Out For Linux (Ubuntu 14+) 50% OFF during the winter sale
It was always the plan to let as many pirates as possible join the party. Here we have a build for Ubuntu 14+ (14.04+ recommended) :urbanhappy:

We hope the default launch button works for you too (runner). In case it doesn't, try going to your linux' Steam app folder, and double-click the

urbanpiratelinux_install.sh - if the PLAY button or the desktop icon doesn't send you into the concrete heaven after installing try

run.sh

In case that doesn't work :urbaninsane:

Urban Pirate: Nominated Best Idea at AZ Play Awards 2016

The jury at the VII International Festival of Independent Videogames held in Bilbao, Spain called AZ Play 2016, has nominated our petty crime simulator Urban Pirate in the Best Idea category

The Urban Pirate Soundtrack Is Now Released As Free DLC
Due to several requests we now bring you a peace of chiptuned, urban mood. The original 8-bit soundtrack consists of 22 fresh tracks, composed and produced by the developer BABY DUKA and his fellow pirate B. Magic Samples.



It's free and you can go ahead and download it right now, if you have Urban Pirate installed.

In case the soundtrack doesn't end up in your Steam Music library automatically, here's where you can find the files:

The mp3s are kept in the game's main folder which by default should be something like \...\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Urban Pirate

The pirate is simply chilling with a bunch of bloodthirsty riot cops at her door. Very content, stacked :dirtymoney:, and, to say it mildly, in great trouble if she's caught. Still chilling and probably handling the situation with only one hand. What a pirate :urbanhappy: !

Tiff, it was worth the fight! Now you are the reason we're gonna prepare a bunch of new achievements with one called 'Eternal Legend; Collect 10,000 Street Credit.' Thanks for playing and recording 40+ episodes of Urban Pirate. To us you're a legend 'cause you were the first one, ever, to upload your entire life as a pirate :urbanhappy: with everything included (though there might still be some episodes left...).

And OHOI to everyone who have played, recorded, and reviewed Urban Pirate so far. It has given us loads of inspiration and we're looking forward to sharing our ideas for what's next.

As if the very basic life of a pirate wasn't hard enough, you now have a bunch of Pirate Achievements to accomplish if you REALLY wanna show off your skills and knowledge. Survival is great, but life is better!
