Our Kickstarter campaign sadly did not reach its goal, but we are not giving up just yet! We plan to continue the development at our usual pace and hope to have an Early Access version of the game ready by Q1 2021!
Both Sebi and I thank each and everyone of you, for the support and feedback you are giving to us. We have come a long way and seeing the community grow is what keeps us going!
So what is next, you ask? - Well, here are the things we are working towards rights now:
Create a coop adventure level, with an incorporated tutorial, so people have a better experience when they start with the game.
Integrate the talent system, so classes can have different builds.
Improve and expand the crafting system with new resources and items.
There are many things, bugs and improvements we are working on too, but those are the main tasks we are chipping away at right now. We will use this ROADMAP to show our general progress.
We hope you stick with us and help us test the upcoming patches so we get a good idea of how our plans are shaking out.
Regarding the demo we sadly have to remove it due to the running server costs. We will think about how we are going to let people get access to the pre alpha, now that the demo is going offline, but this might take a few weeks until we have a good solution.
For all the pre alpha testers who already have a key, there will be a server up for testing purposes. We will host a playtest with a new patch every Wednesday going forward too.

This Sunday we want to host our first tiny tournament :) Winners receive game keys!
Tournament starts Sunday at 19:00 pm CEST
First place gets 3 keys + Discord role
Second place gets 2 keys + Discord role

The Tournament will be hosted on a password protected server
Format will be 1v1 in the Arena of Reign map

We for the time beeing removed the progression, now everything from perks to equipment should be unlocked right from the start. So now you can test those too!

So the time has come! The last few months we tried to push the game forward and now that we have reached that milestone, both Sebi and i are very happy to announce that we will put Usurpator on Kickstarter to get enough funds to concentrate on the game and ensure an optimal Early Access release in Q1 2021. The Campaign goes live this coming Tuesday the 4th of August! Additionally on Tuesday there will be a FREE Demo of the game live on Steam during the whole month aswell.
