Valkyrie of Phantasm to Release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation®5!
Hi everyone,
Thank you for enjoying Valkyrie of Phantasm! The high-speed danmaku fighting game featuring Touhou characters fighting in the skies of Gensokyo is finally coming to home consoles!
Just like the Steam version, the console versions will also have a fully voiced story mode and online 1v1 and 2v2 matches. We're also planning to release new characters in the form of DLCs on both Steam and consoles.
We'll annouce more details in the near future, so please stay tuned!

■ Battles
Temporarily fixed the framrate to 60 FPS. (Framerate settings will be added to the options at a later date.)
Added information displayed on the minimap.
When the opponent is in a yellow locked state, the down limit will now immediately be set to 0.
Limited the number of times voicelines for locking onto a target and being locked on can be played in succession.
Fixed the behavior of homing bullets. (This only affects how bullets move after passing through targets and should not have a noticeable impact on gameplay, but if any issues arised, they will be addressed swiftly.)

■ Battles
Spells will now continue to home in onto the original target even if you change lock-on targets while firing them.
In team battles, when all members of the opposing team has been knocked out, you will now automatically lock onto the opponent that recovers first.
Shortened the time it takes to recover from a knockout to 8 seconds.
■Network
Fixed a bug that caused the game to freeze when entering an online room while both of the following conditions were met: Favorite Character Settings set to "Random", and Boss Character set to unusable in the Room Settings.
■ Training Mode
Added combo damage to the damage amount display.

Reimu: Dream Sign "Duplex Barrier" - Effect duration extended by 5 seconds. Can now also block beam attacks. Dream Sign "Wild Exorcism Dance" - Shortened time needed to finish firing all bullets.
Fixed an issue that caused the character models to load in more slowly than intended during character setup.
Player names will now be displayed above the characters' heads.

Valkyrie of Phantasm to be Fully Released on October 18!

Thank you for enjoying Valkyrie of Phantasm! We will be updating the game to ver. 1.00 on October 18, 2024, which will be the full release and the end of Early Access. The price of the game will change upon full release.

Adjusted the revive counter in point battles so that it starts counting from when the player is knocked down
Fixed a bug which made it possible to cancel the Accel Drive animation by immediately using an Accel Spell
Fixed a bug which caused Accel Drives activated immediately after reviving to turn into Spark Drives instead
Fixed a bug that caused visual effects of certain spells to remain on the screen indefinitely
