Preview branch expanded with many updates
Hi! I've been hard at work, and have many new improvements to share on the preview branch.

- The manor studio has been completely overhauled, no longer looking gloomy and run-down but rather stately and worthy of a master painter such as yourself.
- The easel, stands and brushes now look the part, with beautiful new textures.
- The painting mechanics have improved a lot, including the paint thinner.
- Advanced haptic feedback can make you feel the canvas with every stroke.
- The game is now localized in German, Italian, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

So be sure to check it out! To join in, right click Vermillion in your Steam library > properties > betas > preview.

Vermillion for VR game of the year!
If you've enjoyed painting this year, I'd be thrilled if you would nominate Vermillion for VR game of the year. It sure has been one hell of a year for me, putting my life on hold and working any waking minute, both on Vermillion and on my full time job. Today was actually the last day of my employment there - from now on, it's full steam ahead with Vermillion development!

Preview the new update in the public beta!
I've been porting Vermillion to Quest these past months, and I'm passing the savings onto you! If you join the public preview beta, you can test the new visuals, performance upgrades, all-new browser, and most importantly, the new easel. The easel can fold flat horizontally, and go a lot lower than the original. This allows you to rest your brush hand or arm while painting. I'll also allow it to be moved and turned like you already can with the brush and palette stand.

To join the pubic beta, right click Vermillion in your Steam library > Properties > Betas > Select "preview". I'll be adding updates in the coming days. Let me know what you think in the Steam community or on Discord! https://discord.com/invite/Aw2zKxz

Full length paint-along for how best to use Vermillion to paint with Bob Ross

  • Added new full length paint along tutorial, teaching you how to best use Vermillion's tools to paint a Bob Ross style landscape! Find it under bookmarks (rightmost button over the browser), Paint alongs.
  • Added bookmark for a series of videos teaching the Vermillion basics. Find it in the Learning bookmarks tab. Shoutout to Shameless Mayhem for creating these top notch videos!
  • Fixed projector scale being incorrect if scaling the canvas before opening the projector. Thanks to Discord members Sundae and ArkeoTP for reporting this.
  • You will now always start in front of the easel when launching Vermillion.
  • Fixed "SteamVR OpenXR not found" message incorrectly appearing for some users.
