Update VR Darts v0.1.10
- BUG SOLVED : hand / game-pad switch distance too short.
The distance between a hand controller and the HMD at which the control scheme switches from hand controllers to game-pad proved to be too short (1 meter ). This could lead to uncontrolled switching of controller scheme and strange dart throwing behavior.
We extended this distance to 1.5 meters
- ADDED : visual feedback when too close to the dartboard
When playing in a practice session or a match and getting too close with a hand controller to the dartboard, now visual feedback - screen turns gray - will be presented to the player. Auditive feedback (alert sound) was already in place.
- UNDER INVESTIGATION : right controller freezes/resumes unexpectedly
We are looking into an issue where the right Oculus touch controller could sometime freeze and resumes unexpectedly - is no longer tracking.
[Update] Problem was hardware setup related. After a battery change and reconfigure the problems were solved.
Tips and Tricks
As VR Darts is now available in the steam store, we can see some people starting to throw a considerable amount of darts.
Also... It seems that some of you do not get those darts flying. Maybe it is in the controls or some other problems you are experiencing.
For this reason we created a Tips and tricks subforum in the discussions area. Make sure you check that info.
