Hot fix update, Huge Performance Boost. Bug's cleaned up.
Hi everyone, I noticed some bugs/performance issues. So I updated the game accordingly.
A couple of things that changed/reworked since the big update:
-Sneaking is changed and more clear, if you crouch a blue tint will appear and notify that you are currently in "Stealth Mode". When you are in stealth mode monsters can't hear you from the back and sides. This way you can sneak up on them and sneak attack with a melee weapon.
-Teleporting now always places you 100% accurate on the place you teleport, sometimes when you moved away from the middle of your play area your teleportation position would be wrong.
-bug removed in enemies that heavily dropped the overall frames per second. This caused the screen to flash in bigger area's
-Rooms have been cleaned and optimized to improve overall performance
-Feature to disable High render effects to improve frame rate.
-Feature to disable real time shadows to improve frame rate.
-Feature to enable/disable Full body rendering (Default: off). Disabling improves frame rate.
-Feature to select teleportation only mode. Which replaces the touch pad with teleportation instead of walking.
-Adjusted teleportation to follow the height of stairs and objects.
-Fixed the issue spawning the player outside of the next room.
-Damage and weight are now shown correctly above all weapons.
-Changed online bug where enemies keep attacking a dead player.
And that's about it!
This patch should boost your overall performance, If you have trouble with that It could be completely gone together with the new rendering options.
So if you had trouble running the game, try again and do tell if it helped you out!

The New BIG Patch has Launched! READ ALL THE NEW ADDITIONS HERE!
VR Dungeon knight is becoming better("bugfree") and bigger each day!
Thanks to you guys, we have come so far already within the first month, great feedback has been given and a lot of things have been changed and added!
Lets get right into the changes!
NEW GAMEPLAY ADDITIONS:
-No longer press/release the trigger button to attack/defend! Swing your weapon against the enemy and block their attacks by moving your weapon against theirs before they hit you! Takes some practice, good luck!
-Full body rendering! For both single player and multiplayer. You have Arms, legs and feet! For the full immersion experience. (Enable this in the options chamber)
-Bows have stock and need reloading! Equip a Arrow quiver to your belt and pull arrows out by holding the trigger button!
-Two handed weapons can be swung with 1 hand, with 40% of its max damage.
This way you can equip a spear and a shield and other combinations.
-XP! You level up! Defeating monsters finding XP books around the dungeon and completing dungeon levels your character.
-New Chamber of Heroes! Spend your level up points for stats. Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence. These give negatives and buffs for you hero.
-Chamber of Heroes Side Quest, solve the riddle and explore a mysterious cave.
-New enemies to defeat in the dungeons! (Or kill you).
-New Dungeon system, *Normal Dungeons and **Nightmare Dungeons.
* Normal Dungeons act like the old dungeons and have a short length and are less spooky.
** Nightmare Dungeons get harder and larger each time you defeat one,
-New Music Tracks!
-New Weapons!
-LOOT, Collect gold and XP books all around the dungeons. In all kind of hidden places, behind things, above and between them. Happy looting!
-Chance of a mini boss at the end of your dungeon!
Shoot him down or grab a melee weapon and slash his energy ball back at him to bring him to the ground! Opening him up for a final blow!
-Swim in water. (Don't try to swim in acid traps though)...
-Loco motions now include: Arm swinger, Teleportation and Touch pad only movement.
More to come next week (Example: controller direction movement).
-Enemies see less far, making it easier to predict encounters.
-Enemies are more balanced.
-Bow now has stock and reloading mechanics.
-Combat no longer uses button Hold/presses.
-Performance and frame rate updates to the Armory, End Room and Enemies. To counteract flickering and frame rate issues.
-Audio level tweaks.
-A lot of general bug fixes.
-Turning 90 degrees with the touch pad.
-New locomotion options (Controller direction movement etc).
-New Dungeon Structures and rooms. New Traps. Deadly Traps. Puzzles and more!

New Update coming Soon! XP, Leveling, Skills, Mini bosses, New Enemies and more!
Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to bring new and awesome content to this game! It's really a dream come true to work with all of you guys. The community is bringing so many awesome idea's.
There is a big patch incoming! It will launch as soon as all the bugs and new features are polished!
Some things you can expect in the update:
-XP/Leveling system.
-Leveling stats
-Longer and larger dungeons.*
-New Enemies.
-Mini Bosses.
-New Dungeon structures/traps.
-Passive dungeons are removed.**
-No longer hold/release the trigger to attack/defend. Just swing your weapon and block attacks by moving your weapon against the enemy weapon.
* The dungeon length is now based on completing dungeons. If you complete smaller dungeons they will get bigger and more dangerous. If you die in a dungeon they get smaller.
The more dungeons you complete without dying you get more chance on unlocking "Legendary Weapons" (More info on that later).
** Passive dungeons are removed. Dungeons now get generated based on your skill level and how much you die/succeed. Difficulty is also based on this.

New Patch Has released! Teleportation movement, New Weapons, Online Tavern.
Hi guys!
I hope you are all having a nice weekend. Let's get right into the additions/changes:
NEW ADDITIONS:
-*Online Tavern. Drink. Meet other players. Get free loot chest's.
-Teleport System. Against motion sickness. (Uses the application button).
-Touch pad movement without swinging arms. You can change this in the main chamber with the door next to the stairs.
-5 new Weapons. Good luck unlocking them! It's a surprise what they are.
-New Dungeon Structures.
*The online tavern is in early alpha. Send me your experience and feedback! The online tavern connects all players into the same room. The tavern does not have a name yet, send suggestions if you think of one!*
General bug fixes and Tweaks:
-You can't climb anymore with a weapon in your hand.
-Volume levels should be more subtle and balanced, making it easier to hear.
-Multiplayer is more stable.
-Dungeon traps now do damage in multiplayer.
-Bows can now be rotated to shoot more awesome.
-Bows make sound now
-Equipping items to your belt is easier. The range is bigger.
-The game now prioritizes items on the floor instead of your belt, making it easier to pick up items instead of unintentionally grabbing a belt item.
-Final Boss now moves again.
-Final Boss Projectiles attack duration reduced from 15 to 8 seconds.
-General bug fixes, balancing.
-Bows do less damage, making them less effective against bigger enemies.
-Damage and Weight are now shown above the weapons (The level of the weapon amplifies this. This is not yet shown).
What I am working on now:
-I was going to include larger area's in this patch. But they need a little more polishing first, removing some of the bugs and glitches. But they will arrive very soon, early next week.
-Movement based on controller direction instead of your head.
-Xp and skills system.
Bugs that I am aware of and try to fix:
-Vitality challenge bug.
-Enemies not responding to arrows from longer distances.
-Multiplayer bug where you can't move.
-Multiplayer Room not showing up, leaving you in darkness.
A lot of time went into all of this, I hope you guys like the progress!
I'm doing this all by myself and I really enjoy making more content.

New patch! Dungeon traps! Final boss Updated!
Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing great!
The new patch has launched with general bug fixes and new dungeon structures.
I did a lot of general bug fixes and some more specific ones mentioned here:
-Weapons don't stack anymore in your belt on the same spot, this was not intended and could lead to confusion.
-Dying works better. You now hear a death tune and return to the main chamber faster.
-Chest Payout changed, you no longer get chests from challenges, but you can still unlock the bonus room if you manage to get all 3.
-You have a chance that a dungeon is longer as normal, in that case your payout in chests goes from 1 to 3.
-The final boss now shoots an energy ball as a third attack.*
*This orb can be blocked with your weapon/shield to deflect and redirect it back to him, starting a back and forth sequence, if the ball manages to hit him, he will fall. After that you can do critical hits with your weapon.*
Features I'm currently working on for the near future:
-New loco-motions.
-Mini bosses.
-Puzzle orientated rooms.
-Facing direction when you enter doors.
-New Weapons.
-Weapon Stats above the weapons. (Indicating strike speed, damage and weight).
-Bow Reload System, limited arrows supply per dungeon for the bow.
-XP and levels.
-Player Perks.
-Public Co-op. (Without using steam friends).

Quick Patch released, BE GONE HEARTBEAT!
This is a quick fix containing:
-Removed bug where the HEARTBEAT was always playing.. gone!
-Reduced music volume in the hub-world (Mainly because of the Armory).

Things I am working on now and will be added in the next couple of days:
-Switch between moving without your arms.
-Fixing the "Monsters slide inside your body" bug.
-Reworking combat system to more slow punishing attacks and timed blocking.
-Implementing Dungeon Trap sections, Dungeon Obstacles and more Climbing sections.

The multiplayer function of the game is still buggy, Since i can't test it with anyone quite often. So feedback on the multiplayer is crucial!

VR Dungeon Knight, What's it going to be? Who Is making this game?
Hi, my name is Thomas, I'm 23 and I made this game all by myself,
I'm working on this game full time and I put a lot of time and love into it!
The last 2 weeks working to the release have been extremely busy but I can't wait to tell you what this game is and what will be added in the future!
The game also had a small delay because of some unexpected issues (sorry!)
Now to the exciting stuff:
The game Currently has:
GAME-PLAY:
-Free movement system (move around like in real life, walk, run crawl, climb)
-Loot system.
-Online Co-op play (No open matchmaking - Limited to your steam friends).
-Stealth element. (you can win dungeon's without being seen).
-Weapon Unlock systems.
-Weapon Level up system.
-Ranged Weapons, Melee Weapons. (swords, daggers, shields, bow).
-A lot of different dungeon's you can enter.
-Full Tutorial explaining all controls.
-Final Boss fight (still work in progress).
STORY:
The game has professional voice acting and will inform you what to do, and what your main goal is. The biggest goal is to defeat the Final Boss.
ALREADY CONFIRMED FEATURES IN THE FUTURE:
-Partial Teleport Movement system (coming very soon, against motion sickness).
-Skill/perk system.
-XP/level up system.
-Different Armor
-Secrets to be found and solved
-Puzzle elements
-Dungeon Traps (Spikes, obstacles etc).

-Expanded and more refined Final boss fight.
