The Steam version of the game has support for both using SteamVR and the Oculus SDK, it does however automatically choose to use SteamVR if it finds it available.
If you wish to use the Oculus SDK we generally recommend buying the game on the Oculus Store instead, but if you already own it on Steam you can now start the game with the launch option
"-vrmode oculus" (without the brackets).
Windows MR
We don't officially have support for Windows MR, but people have told us it worked just fine in the old version, but was broken in this one. This update should hopefully fix that!
Bug fixes
Fixed bug where two of the recipes were swapped on the Winter levels.
PSVR, Oculus, Bakery and better performance!
Bakery
Your diner has been remodeled to accomodate for the new trend in the robot community. Swedish fika-time.
In this frantic new gamemode you get to serve sweets to your customers in 15 new levels. No need to cook burgers or cut cucumber but there are a lot of cupcakes to sell so don't lose your focus!
Performance
A lot smaller file-size. The game only takes about a third of the size on the hard drive compared to previous versions.
Major parts of the game have been rewritten, which has resulted in fixing of many bugs and other minor issues.
Several usability improvements, such as making it easier to select objects that were previously somewhat inconsistent.
Almost all parts of the game have been heavily optimized.
If you were having performance issues previously, your experience should be a lot smoother now.
Oculus Rift
The game now fully supports the Oculus SDK. Therefore you can play the game with Oculus Rift without the need of SteamVR. The game will also automaticly detect your hardware and the overall experience on the oculus has been improved.
The game is also released on Oculus Store 15th decemeber.
PSVR
We are happy to announce that VR The Diner Duo is available on the PlayStation 4 for the PSVR on the 15th december (US) and 18 december (EU).
