Finally a 1:8 nitro on-road class that everyone can race!
This new class offers a different 1:8 nitro on-road racing experience, easy to drive and loads of fun. The chassis is based on the well-known 1:8 nitro chassis but equipped with a front and rear differential and thus rear and front brakes, a slightly less potent .21 engine and fitted with special Super Soft rubber tires, this chassis handles quite different than the 1:8 nitro prototype class, ideal for super close racing.

The new GT3 class will be released middle of November and will have its very first event at the 2017 VRC Worlds starting December 2nd.

Tracks added to the VRC Pro Rally-X car and track pack
We have added 3 tracks to the VRC Pro Rally-X car and track pack (dlc) so you can race all the events for the Rally-X Series.
Rally-X 3 track, venue of the upcoming 2017 VRC Worlds, will be released middle of November and will be automatically added to this dlc.

Bamberg and MB Raceway tracks added
The Bamberg on-road track (Germany) has been added to the European on-road tracks DLC, This brings the total number of on-road tracks in this package to 9. The price of the DLC was increased slightly. Steam members who already purchased this package will get this track added to their track selection automatically at next start-up.
The MB Raceway carpet indoor track (UK) has been added to the International Electric carpet tracks Deluxe DLC. This track was already part of this package but not released yet.

FIRST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RALLY-X
Barnabas Toth from Hungary has now added a Worlds victory to his long list of wins in previous seasons. He came very close in 1:10 ISTC but ran out of battery just 50m before the finish line, this time het got it right and won in convincing style some 7 seconds clear from runner up James Le Pavoux from the UK, and and another 2 seconds on Jerome djay Delcourt from France. Peter Might from the UK missed the podium by just 2 tenth of a second as Delcourt managed to defend a hard charge from Knight in the very last lap after a crash 2 laps before the end.

The debut of Rally X (or Rally Cross) was a great success with 389 racers attending this very first event. With 2 more Rally X layout planned for the harbor complex and another Rally X conversion of the Messina on-road trtack, this new class will surely continue to build momentum amongs virtual r/c racers. Nowhere else than in VRC you can race rally cars on such exciting tracks!
