This in-game camera offers players a new toolset for capturing Walkabout content, notably:[/p]

[p]Quick Stills and Videos: Grab pics, clips, and longer-form video as you would from a phone or tablet… in hand, positioned on the course, or floating nearby![/p]
[p]CocoVision Selfies: Say cheese! In addition to a forward-facing mode, selfies allow players to talk directly to the camera. [/p]
[p]Locking and Offset: Not only will players be able to capture a first-person view, they can now offset and lock the camera over their shoulder, adjacent to their avatar, or even to a random point in the course to capture gameplay and hijinks alike.[/p]
[p]Motion Smoothing: This key feature solves a prevalent issue for platform-level camera capture: unstable and erratic views. Whether in first person or offset positions, the CocoVision Camera can have motion smoothing applied to ensure smooth pans and pivots, and quick actions such as flying.[/p]

New: Putter Selection Updates
Following the ball tray update in v5.5, our team has revamped our putter selection system! The new putter display includes a holding rack and introduces pagination to slim down concurrently viewable putters. Most notably, we now display a generic ghost putter for any undiscovered putters; all putters have a hotlink to their associated course, making it easier for players to know which foxhunts they need to complete.

Shack Course Listing Reorganization
With the inclusion of more courses in our base game, we have rearranged the Shack course display with an updated front-page view and a new "Classics" listing page.
Pocket Edition: 'Upside Town' Now Available
Players can now putt through this gravity-defying cityscape while on-the-go. Mobile Players, ICYMI: Check out our new 'Standard Mode' gameplay! Standard Mode is our new vertical-only, non-gyro mode that relies purely on swipe-and-tap and pinch/pull motion for players to navigate and play. This mode sets players into a locked camera position behind the ball and allows for a smooth, casual gameplay experience.

Arizona Modern Lighting Upgrade 🌵
The Sonoran Desert is awash in light and shadow, with a revamped lighting upgrade to both the Easy and Hard version of Arizona Modern.
Grip-to-Putter 3 Available Now 🏌️
We've partnered with FormX Design for the latest iteration of Grip-to-Putter controller attachments! Our Mount Olympus DLC release will update the custom settings page with a new v3 calibration preset and in-game wristband cosmetic to accompany the Grip-to-Putter 3 accessory. Grip-to-Putter 3 is available for Quest 2/3/3S and soon, PSVR2.
Legacy preset calibrations for v1 and v2 Grip-to-Putters will still be available through the Welcome Island Shack settings menu.
ICYMI: Slingshots are now installed in Shangri-La! 🥮
Over shadowy chasms and between a maze of bridges, players can now enjoy the meditative act of target practice in the Himalayas.
Fixes
Achievement hunters rejoice! We've fixed the Amateur Status, Target Master, & Iron Putter PSVR2 trophies.
Controller smoothing can now be used while custom calibration settings are enabled
Our team made some fixes across the Viva las Elvis course, the most notable being:
H13: Ball now stays inside the slot machine and correctly rolls down the chute
H14: The scorecard and wrist display now show the same, correct scoring
H18: The ball will now consistently sink into the cup when putted into the final area
Our team is still working with Meta to address the underlying cause of putter hitching and tracking reports we've been receiving. While we continue to work through this issue, we have added a new 'Putter Tracking Guard' toggle in the Settings menu, under the Putter tab. When the toggle is enabled, the putter head becomes disabled if poor tracking/performance is detected, in order to minimize errant or inaccurate putts. We have also made under-the-hood fixes to address performance and clean-up.
Please note: Any "hitching" or tracking issues that may arise during gameplay have the potential to come from OS updates, environmental factors (lighting, reflections, etc.) and device performance issues. We recommend you try out troubleshooting steps first and review the latest "Putter Glitch" blog on the Walkabout Mini Golf Updates page.

Fixes
Our team has made adjustments throughout some of the DLC and base game to add quality-of-life updates and needed fixes, so that as we expand Walkabout we don't compromise on quality or polish. Among other fixes the most notable updates are:
Course record pop-up notifications should fire off properly.
Improvements for better score preservation upon a headset disconnect/rejoin in multiplayer rooms.
Golfers can restart a round more than once and play through normally.
Myst hole 9, where the bridge would not sync/un-sync properly in multiplayer rooms, should be properly updated and functional.
