Update 12 Released
For the last couple of weeks, we've been thinking about a fun way to increase Mia's defensive capabilities and finally found a solution we're all happy with. Be ready for a tougher Mia 2.0 who now holds a riot shield in her free hand! Obviously, we also updated her Tutorial mission accordingly so you can learn how to use it.
On top of that, we're bringing you a brand new level and a fresh enemy boss. The map name is Hangar and the boss is called Acido Domingo - make an educated guess what he's up to... 😎 Some bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements wrap up today's update. As always, you will find the full list here:

Teo Update Released
Today, we're happy to announce Update 11 which brings you an all-new playable character! Say hello to Teo, a brawler who is most efficient in close quarter combat, taking out foes with his baton and shotgun. Unlike Ricky and Mia, Teo has the unique ability to also teleport to live enemies, giving him a leg-up in point blank situations.
We also shuffled some missions around and changed the character selection for certain missions. Our goal was to make sure that the playstyle of the character chosen for a certain mission is in tune with the specific layout of the respective map. For example, did we put Teo in more contained maps such as Ship while Mia will be playing in spacious areas such as Skyscraper. While this does affect your level progression, it will have no impact on your player stats such as character or gun levels.
This means that you might end up replaying missions you have already completed before, but they will feel better and much closer to what we want to achieve with the full release. We understand that losing progress can be frustrating, but we're convinced that in the end you will appreciate the improved quality and enjoy the game even more!
On top of that, there are also three new weapons...
...and a new enemy type Grenade Gunner:
As always, you can find the full list of what to find in this update here:
Teo - new character, with special "charge" teleport ability and baton
Several missions reassigned, reordered and given new voice over intros for all levels (no new audio for Ricky yet)
One new mission, for Ricky: "Moonlight Brawl"
3 new shotgun types:
"Cobra K" → Acid Thrower Full-Auto Shotgun
"Model T-101" → Ice Shotgun with spin-around active reload
"Thunderbird" → Crackling "Shock-Gun"
New enemy - "Grenade Gunner" (in the new mission, as well as in Horde mode)
Balancing and elemental effects pass for all guns
Rifle enemies now fire volleys of fast-moving bullets
Many new visual effects
AI behavior tweaks and improvements
Fixed a bug, where In some situations, settings were failing to save
Fixed a bug, where players were sometimes able to play missions as the wrong character
Fixed a bug, where SMG enemies now pop out of cover for longer
General bug fixes
There you have it guys, we really hope you're as excited about the update as we are! ːsteamhappyː Thanks for all your support and let us know what you think about Teo.
Elemental Update
Today we are bringing you our first update for this year and it's all about peace and nature and... new improved ways of eliminating enemies obviously!
Some weapons and enemies now have an elemental affinity according to the following rule set:
Fire weapons (red) deal bonus damage against Ice enemies (blue) and vice versa.
Electric weapons (yellow) deal bonus damage against Acid enemies (green) and vice versa.
All elemental types are weak against their own color. As an example, shooting a Fire weapon at a Fire enemy means less damage.
Armored enemies - some enemies, including all robots, have armor. Rifles as well as Electric and Acid weapons are most effective against these enemy types.
Besides that, the evil corporation Genetic Minds was up to no good once again: Boss Kees van Kloten has been cloned! 😮 His clones are weaker versions of the more powerful boss and now show up in several missions as regular enemies.
As always, you can find the full update list here:
Elemental affinity added to enemies and weapons
Kees van Kloten appears now as a normal enemy in the game and his tougher version is used in a boss level
Mia 2nd hand teleport added
New Boss intros added
Added item drops
Fixed bug where enemies got stuck (Map Subway)
General bug fixes and improvements

Release Roadmap
Hey everyone! Today, we'll be sharing some good and some bad news. As some of you might have read in the Early Access description, we were still targeting a full release this year. Unfortunately, this is not going to happen. Based on your feedback and our own vision for the game, Wanted Killer VR has become much bigger than initially intended, making it impossible for us to hit the target date. So, instead of rushing into full release, we decided to continue growing the game – which brings us to the good news: more content for you guys! 😎
We're receiving a lot of questions about the remaining features that will be added to the game, so we figured it would be a good idea to give you a quick heads-up on the development up to version 1.0. The roadmap below lists the complete, in-development and planned features we want to add to Wanted Killer VR in order to make it the best experience possible. Please note that not everything is set in stone, so consider it more of a guideline for the remainder of our Early Access period.
Without further ado, here’s what’s coming up over the next four-ish months for Wanted Killer VR:
There you have it guys, we really hope you're excited about what we've lined up for you! ːsteamhappyː 🤩 Feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think about the upcoming features.
