Hi again everyone! Hope you all are doing more than well and are pumped for the weekend! (and for those of you that are already INTO the weekend, hope Saturday's been great ːsteamhappyː)
Dev Update
It's been a super busy past couple weeks, mainly because after the last hotfix I've been ripping apart HUGE chunks of the core game and rebuilding it to support all sorts of super fun stuff in the future :D
I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek, so you can tell just how big of an adjustment this is! As well as let me know anything you might be excited to see with it in the future :) hence the delay til next week!
Armies under your command on the map now look a little different ;)
And will look different as they grow!
You'll also be able to manage them via certain locations!
I'm not entirely sure how this will work in the long run, curious what you guys think, but I'm excited for the opportunities it brings!
Which also means there's been a big upgrade to the way battles look!
I slowed the spawning down pretty slow for this GIF so you can see them build on, normally they just pop in real quick ;)
I also built this little tool, not sure what I'll use it for... but still! :P
Also a small addition, but I've added depreciative aiming to ranged attacks!
So now if you hold the attack too long it'll start to widen ;) let me know next week if this gets annoying and I can take it out :D

Beach, Boats, and Bullets! - 0.0.9v1
Brother's Beach has gotten a big update!
BOOM! :D An update that was only supposed to have a small new area for Brother's Beach has taken a drastic turn to include many new and exciting features! All of which lay the groundwork for even COOLER stuff to come! :D
Dev Update
It's been a busy past couple weeks! I took on a little bit of freelance work last week to keep things stable for the coming winter holidays :) but past that, have just been having SO much fun making all this new stuff for the game :)

Super excited I was able to work this one out, it paves the way for all sorts of vehicles :) I'm still working on being able to fire ranged weapons from IN the boats though :D

That's right friends :) the last of this areas Outposts is finally here, Rivertoll Outpost. You know what that means, it's time for me to circle back and continue working on that main castle and siege mode ;) (and a couple other surprises too!)
Dev Update
Just wanted to say thanks for all the patience and encouragement, you guys really are the best! :D Anyone watching the update timer probably knows this update was a little late to get out! But the good news is, we're all moved into our new place and I'm no longer sick (caught some sort of plague last week after moving in). So let the full-time development of Warcube commence! :D
OVERALL, I *think* I fixed bug where things were blowing up when rotating the camera/pausing/unpausing :)
OVERALL, Improvement in the way character collision is handled.. which means there SHOULD be less running through wall :P @bartkok134 and @Warlord I'm looking at you guys :P
PLAYER, aiming while using mele weapons is now blocked to a particular horizontal plane, so (hopefully) no more random changing directions!
WPN, picking up a weapon when having hands equipped no longer creates an invisible weapon.
MAP, halved respawn time on Eastern side of map for enemy bands @heyguysifoundausernamethatwasnttaken
WPN, Adjust projectile hitboxes! (let me know about this!)
MISC, Improved kill enemies display on score screen (want to do something cooler with it soon!)
CAM, now can rotate camera to align to certain directions when entering/exiting doors

Moving Update! (0.0.8v1 sneak peek!)

Hi again friends :) I just want to first say a HUGE thank you to everyone who commented, messaged or sent me a note of encouragement about the move. It's been a LOT more stressful than I thought, mainly because we've been bouncing between living at families houses while our new place is getting ready.
I've been doing my best to keep the updates coming while working hard on my little foldout table in guest bedrooms, but if you've been checking the update timer you'll have noticed I keep pushing it back :/
Which has been no fun! Because as you already know, I like to update and get everyones input and help! :)
So with that, we'll finally begin the actual move into our new place this weekend, then I have to wait til the 5th for internet to get hooked up :) so expect an update shortly after that, and also I'll be back on the forum/discord more :D

I'm Moving! - BRB! - 0.0.7v3
That's right, I'm moving!
Just wanted to give you guys a quick headsup, my wife and I (and the baby, and two dogs!) will be moving this weekend, so look for me next week once we finish the drive :)
Basically we'll be moving away from Seattle, USA for about a year to live somewhere reeeeally cheap in the middle of nowhere back in Illinois. (honestly, the strangest move I've ever done...)
The plan is to ONLY work on Warcube during the year, so that I'm able to deliver awesome, CONSISTENT updates rather than having to juggle working on the game and other jobs :)
I'm really looking forward to it, it'll definitely be a change of pace, rumor has it the internet is slow, but the place is nice and quiet (and on a very pretty lake!).

Map + Battle Update! (Army Nemesis) - 0.0.7v1
Giving the Map some much needed updating!
So I've finally started added some more functionality to the map, hopefully you'll start to see where I'm going with things ;) First thing you'll notice is that the terrain is pretty different than it was before, it's much lower to the water, which should make things look more normal :P
Now there's different sized parties that roam the map!
Right now there's only 3 different size, but eventually I'd like to add in other hero-led armies as well :)
With some basic starting formations!
Starting a bigger battle now has initial formations for your allies and the enemies, including a new battleground map!
Lose a battle and the enemy party grows in size...
Win the battle, and uhh... WIN TEH BATTLEZZZ! :P
Also... melee attacking in the air now gives you slow mo! (you're welcome)
Sorry it too me so long to add this :P suffice to say, it's super fun! :D
In Game Options menu!
Much requested, finally integrated! Just in the locations menu currently, should be in the map GUI soon!
