New free DLC "MAGNA CARTA" will be released tonight at 7:00 PM in Paris.

MAGNA CARTA will feature:
- 2 new maps for 10v10 : Gjöll & Ásgard.
- 1 "tribute" map for 3v3/4v4 : Three Miles island.
- 2 solo maps adapted for 1v1/2v2 multi : Oslo & Karlstad.
- 2 solo maps adapted for 1v1/2v2/3v3 multi : Aarhus & Orskolsvik.
All playable in both Conquest & Destruction mode.
- 12 new units, one per nation.

Also, one hour before release, we willperform a server maintenance, at 6:00 PM (Paris time), in order to reset some of our dedicated servers to play the new 10v10 maps.

New patch (v1574)

Patch log :



  • Fixed list of replays and saved games that were invisible.
  • American F-14 Tomcat gets its 6 missiles back, instead of 3.
  • Uppsala map fixed, one side spawn had accidentally disappeared.
  • Norvegian starter deck now uses the correct amount of activation points (43/43)

New version (v1570) replays / saved games fix

This patch should fix the replay and save game issues. Saves and replay made BEFORE the “mother of all patches” should work fine as before now, although any save & replay made during the last 48H, since the last patch, won’t work anymore.


Bug fixes :


- Replay from 48H ago fixed.

- Saved games from 48H ago fixed.

- DLC units should have disappeared from the decks of those lucky enough to have them. Sorry folks ... ;)

- Fixing command points imbalance on Telemark & Dalarna maps.

- Moving some sectors a bit on Upsalla map to make it more even.

- Fixing some spelling errors in Polish & Danish.


Fixing balance errors or changes ommissions


- all sniper rifles RoF increased.

- all interceptors (MiG-31 & F-14) missiles reload time (in the airport) increased by about 20%

- all interceptors (MiG-31 & F-14) angle of fire reduced from 80° to 30°, the plane now needs to face the enemy to fire it's missile.



- all NATO MG3 machine-gun brought to the level of the other MG (displayed RoF unified in the meantime)

- all NATO L23A1 76mm gun ACC increased by +1.

- all NATO HS.820 autocannon ACC increased by +1.

- all NATO MG3 brought back to the level of the other MG (displayed RoF unified in the meantime)

- W-German Panzergrenadier now have their proper G3 ammunition loadout.

- W-German Leo1A5 number of packs fixed from 2 to 1.

- W-German Leo1A5 availability increased from 0.6.4.3.0 to 0.8.6.4.0.

- American M60A1 USMC is now available in Marine decks

- American M2/M3 Bradley 's TOW fixed at AP17 like the other TOW.

- American F-15C number of packs reduced from 2 to 1.

- American V-150 90mm ACC increased by +2.

- American Delta Force's Stoner's moving accuracy penalty removed.

- American F-14 missiles reverted to their old configuration, but with accuracy 6 instead of 7.

- British SAS now use a dedicated Blowpipe weapon with higher accuracy

- British Chieftain Mk.2 ACC increased by +1.

- British Chieftain Mk.5 ACC increased by +1.

- Canadian AVGP Cougar price increased from 20$ to 25$.

- French ERC-90 gun accuracy increased from 6 to 9

- French AML-90 gun accuracy increased from 3 to 6

- French AMX-10RC gun accuracy increased from 8 to 9

- Norwegian M24 gun accuracy increased from 3 to 6

- Norwegian NM116 gun accuracy increased from 5/6 to 8 (PA and HE had different value bug corrected)

- Danish M41 gun accuracy increased from 4 to 7

- Danish M41-DK1 gun accuracy increased from 8 to 10.



- all Pact Strela-10 number of packs fixed from 2 to 1.

- all Pact R-60 missile's rate of fire fixed down to something more reasonable.

- Soviet T-80A number of packs fixed from 2 to 1.

- Soviet PT-85 gun accuracy increased from 8 to 10.

- E-German MiG-21M pilot now drops his bombs on the right place (well at least on the place you told him to)

- E-German AufkPz BRM-1 now uses the late version of the Grom with ACC 5.

- CSSR BpzV Svatava now uses the late version of the Grom with ACC 5.

- CSSR T-62cz ACC increased by +1.

- Polish Saperzy's RPO now has the [STAT] trait like its Soviet counterpart.



Known issue : there is still a bug with the replay / saved games list, where some saves won't be displayed. We will fix it as well in a next patch, as fast as possible (not today).

New version (v1553) aka "Mother of all patch"

New patch released today.

Log being too long, here are the patch main orientations:

Level design changes (sector, spawn points, air corridor, ...) on several maps, with a focus on 3v3/4v4, in order to:
- fix some that might have been unbalanced.
- favor manoeuver over spam.


Tanks accuracy scaling came from a time (EE) were ranges were the same for all tanks. With the so-called "heavies" now outranging their lesser brethen, lower ACC was "double penalty" for the latter. Hence we've decided to drastically buff some accuracies: the lesser range, the bigger the buff. By now, from memory, there must not be a tank below ACC 5, and 7 or 8 is the average. Which means that two variants with different ranges may have the same accuracy.

On the same basis, recon infantry was also reorganized and standardized: although they are always one step faster than their infantry counterparts, recons' quality can easily be spotted as:
- line recon are 5-men strong with now MG.
- shock recon are 5-men strong with a MG or sniper rifle.
- SF recon are 10-men strong with three wepons slots.
- SF snipers are 2-men strong ... but with a buff that compensate for that weakness. ;)


Supply vehicles (both land or helo) have been standardized to bring a same amount of supply per card. Besides, FOBs have been made more appealing, while supply vehiles are more scarce. This was meant to make the latter less "one-shot": more supply in the FOB but less supply vehicles per cards mean that one shall be more inclined to spare its suplly vehicle and therefore create a real supply line instead of just calling new supply trucks as reinforcements and let them be once empty ...


Also:
- buffing flamethrower infantry.
- rebalancing nations according to community feedback and taking into account extra-units added after release.
- giving IFV more appeal.
- ...

FIXES:
- "Raining men" exploit fix : Physical damages dealt to infantry transported by helicopter increased from 4 to 12.
Hence, no survivor for a 10-men squads, but 3 out of a 15-men squad may survive.

IMPROVEMENTS:
- It is now possible to play old replays on Mac and Linux (only replays from version 1515).
- Better compatibility between Mac/Windows
- It is now possible in some situations to reconnect to a game before the grace period ends (30 seconds max)

NEW FEATURES:
- Korean localization of the game, brought by the Korean player community itself.
- Added credits for the fan-made Korean localization.

We wish to give special for the Korean players whom have translated the game (and its manual) in their language to the benefit of the whole Korean community. All hail ... :D

Patch 1515

Fixing the game mode display in the ranked lobby for Conquest. Display only, the settings were unaffected.

The 1st week of the Go4Wargame is over !

Almost 90 teams have enlisted for the 1st Go4Wargame. Both experienced commanders and new challengers fought for supremacy over the battlefield . Well known clans have joined the competition but after 6 rounds, No Unit eliminates BPT in the European competition and SAM clan wins against WTF? Team4 in the US competition.

It’s now time for you to join the battlefield too! Every Sunday there will be a new tournament that will allow you to win points, and maybe reach the monthly finals!
