Patches 1511 & 1514

This patches mostly features the reboot of the ranked in Conquest Mode.

* 1511:

Rules are:

- 1000 starting points per player.
- 500 points to reach.
- time limit 40 minutes

* 1514:
- Fixing the maps in ranked mode. They were using the "destruction" version of the map, hence wrong zone values.

- Fixing a localization bug causing some texts to appear in different languages, notably in campaigns and tutorials

- Fixing a bug with the "Keep always open" production menu options, that was not refreshing the menu after a ghost cancel, until the next opening of the menu.

Patch (v1505) replays fix


  • Fixing the replays : after the previous patch, replays could not be read anymore.

Patch (v1504) Global announcements in the chat


  • Adding a global announcement in the chat. User can be redirected to an URL by clicking on the message.

  • [Mac] Fixing a bug causing FX not to be displayed sometimes when in Low preset.

ESL and Focus Home Interactive join forces to create the Go4Wargame Tournament series!

We are pleased to announce the imminent launch of the first official Wargame AirLand Battle tournaments, with Go4Wargame! These tournaments, organized by ESL and Focus Home Interactive, will give people a chance to get one of the many Cash Prizes up for grabs, through two series of weekly competitions (one in the US, one in the rest of the world) that will begin on September 29th.

Players from all across the world with thus get a chance to participate in these new tournaments at the end of the month. Every Sunday, a new cash prize will be up for grabs in Go4Wargame’s 2on2 competition, played with Wargame AirLand Battle's new Conquest mode. A further, bigger reward awaits those who enter the monthly finals, in which the best eight teams of that month will face each other in the ultimate showdown. These competitions will happen every week without interruption, for 3 months. Registrations are already open, so prepare your best tanks: the fight begins September 29th!

About Go4:
The concept behind the Go4 series has been proven to be very successful, with ESL running 22 Go4 competitions across various game platforms and with multiple publishers and partners. The tournament series have elsewhere been instrumental in helping games new to the market stride confidently towards being recognized as an eSport. Although both Wargame AirLand Battle and its predecessor Wargame European Escalation already have large established communities, Go4 is set to cement their place firmly within the world of competitive play.

Patch (v1495) replays fix


  • Fixing a desync on certain replays on version 1487 and higher.
    Some of the replays were desynced, only when using DLC-specific units. This is fixed, and replays from version 1487 and 1491 are getting repaired with this patch. Older replays will remain as they are. Sorry for the inconvenience !

Patch (v1491) Linux executable fix

BUG FIXES

:

  • Linux : Reverting executable file from x64 arch to x86 arch. Game should launch properly now.

  • Mac : Attempt to fix freezes occuring on loading screen

Patch v1487 (Pre-tournament balancing)

A new patch will be uploaded soon.

BUG FIXES :
- [LINUX & MAC] Fixing a bug keeping some players stucked at the loading screen.
- Fixing a new problem with the production menu : when buying a unit and then another without deploying them, the ghosts would get stuck somewhere outside of the deploy zones.
- Fixing a bug allowing one to select non-visible enemy FOB and get their selection feedback displayed, hence exploiting the bug to spot enemy location.
- Fixing a broken AI behaviour on Trondheim : it was not securing the command zones anymore.
- The servers ("10v10") list was only refreshing a couple of times, and the displaying nothing.
- When loading a Campaign saved game registered between two battles in one turn, and then reloading it, the "Avoid battle" option was not available anymore.
- Fixing a bugabout reinforcement units' ghosts' orientation.

Patch (v1472) Ragnarok conquest Points per sector fix

MAP FIX :


  • The value of sectors on Ragnarok (10v10) conquest was way too high, due to a mistake.
    This patch returns the sectors to their correct values, thus fixing the games' length.

Patch (v1470) Ragnarok conquest missing buildings fix

BUG FIXES :


  • Buildings were disabled on Ragnarok in conquest mode, because the "blocks" were missing. Fixed.

  • When drawing a line of front (drag&drop right click), units were sometimes facing the wrong direction. They will now always face "forward", the "left" flank of the front being where you started to drag the line, and the "right" being where you dropped it.

  • When drawing a line of front, infantry ghosts were mistakenly hidden for a short period of time. Fixed.

Patch (v1467) 10v10 official Conquest servers

[EUGEN] Servers :


- 10v10 conquest official servers are now ready to be played.
4 [EUGEN] servers should appear in conquest mode.

BUG FIX :


- fixed a crash occurring when leaving the end game screen in a game with at least 1 IA.
