New Void Crusade: Violet




  • A brand new Void Crusade is out now in Inquisitor making the total number of Crusades 8. Collect 5 Violet Shards and challenge the enemy units of the Alpha Legion, the Tyranid, the Dark Eldar and more


Balance




  • Made some slight changes at the end of the 'The Primogenitor' mission so players will no longer miss out on picking their righteous loot after killing Fabius Bile
  • Rebalanced the movement speed of the fugitive in Hot Pursuit missions to be equal when playing against any type of enemy faction
  • The primary AoE damage enchant's damage bonus is changed from 8-15% to 12-30%, and the enchant is now rolls for shields and signums too
  • The secondary AoE damage enchant no longer rolls on items
  • Missing Tech-Adept string for melee minion damage added
  • Reduced the unlock requirement of the Stalwart Servant Heroic Deed to 20
  • Reduced the unlock requirement of the Chain Reaction Heroic Deed to 250

Fixed bugs




  • Entirely removed the Alpha Region. The changes will take place after one logs into their account
  • Fixed a crash issue which occurred with the controller if one visited Ragna van Wynter on the Command Bridge
  • Fixed an issue where the passive skill points could go negative
  • Fixed an issue where not yet unlocked seasonal contents (Tarot cards, Heroic Deeds, Passive Skill trees) could affect their counterparts on non-seasonal characters by making the already unlocked contents locked again

New DLC: Charybdis Outpost



In this exclusive mission, unravel the secrets of the Charybdis holding centre as you make your way through unique environments and experience brutal combat against an unknown enemy.
This DLC contains a special Priority Assignment, which has its own plot and consists of a series of new missions. (The Assignment is available after completing the tutorial missions.)

Charybdis Outpost is part of the Complete Collection. Those who already own the Complete Collection will get it for free automatically.

Note: This DLC is also available for purchase in-game for Fate.


New Weekly Glory Leaderboard rewards



Three unique consumables can be obtained now if one gets into the top 10 on the Weekly Glory Leaderboard:


  • Litany of Serendipity: significantly increases the chance of finding Relic items in the next 3 missions
  • Benediction of Abundance: significantly increases the amount of items dropped in the next 3 mission
  • Ultimate Fortune: significantly increases the values of enchants on items found during the next 3 missions

The top 10 players will get rewarded the following way:

  • Top 1: 5 consumables (randomized)
  • Top 2: 4 consumables (randomized)
  • Top 3: 3 consumables (randomized)
  • Top 4: 2 consumables (randomized)

The Season of the Inferno has arrived!



Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor's v2.3.0 update, released today, includes several long-requested additions to the game. The biggest of all is the new seasonal ladder - everyone starts on level ground, with a common goal: reach the highest tier in the shortest time, and reap the rewards. These goods include several cosmetic items, store discounts and high-quality gear. Coupled with the ladder, a new Void Crusade, Zircon has also been added to Inquisitor.

Gameplay-wise, we implemented several changes: not only does the new main menu and the character creation screen come with a refreshed look, we have also increased the number of character slots to make room for the new heroes of the Inferno. Ancient Relics have received a name suffix based on their enchant to make them more distinguishable, and also come with an extra enchant slot for some extra performance.

New Void Crusade: Zircon

  • Collect 5 Zircon Void Shards to challenge the forces of Chaos and receive your righteous rewards. The Zircon Crusade is also available in Hardcore Mode.

Balance



Ancient items

The following changes will apply to newly acquired Ancient Relic items:

  • Ancient items will have one additional enchant slot now, making the total number of slots 5
  • The items have now received a distinctive name to make it easier for players to decide if they want to unlock them
  • All ancient item enchants got revised, several new and unique enchants have been added
  • Ancient items now always roll maximum values on their enchants based on the item level


Perks

  • Attack anchor
    10% /second, up from 5% /second (the max value is unchanged)
  • Augmented Body 2
    No Suppression damage removed, added 50% Max Suppression and 25 Suppression Damage Resist, and no longer disables HP regeneration
  • Enhanced attrition
    Gives 150% DoT up from 50%, but now also gives -50% damage for everything that is not a DoT
  • Heatsinks
    Heat Damage bonus increased from 15 to 25%
  • Persistent attrition
    Now Blinds the enemy instead of giving a flat damage debuff
  • Self Mortification
    Now gives 0.75% damage bonus for each percentage of missing class resource
  • Subdermal Plating
    Previous effect removed, added 12% Damage reflect chance and 50% Damage Reflect
  • Close quarters gunnery
    Added multiple damage levels, starting from the old behavior, scaling up to 75% damage when the enemy is in melee range.
  • Rabble Slayer
    Gives 60% Damage Bonus increased from 20%
  • Stride of the blessed
    30% Movement speed up from 25%, DR debuff also increased from -5 to -10


Energy Shield system

Energy Shield mechanics reworked. Shield behavior moved into 2 statistics:

  • Energy shield: The regenerating, permanent part which can be gained either from the Deflector Field belt item or the Puritan Perk
  • Shield charge: Acts as a refill for Energy shield but it can overflow creating a consumable "healthbar". Can be gained from "on-hit" "on-crit" etc. type of effects. Shield charge can be gained even without using a Deflector field or Puritan Perk, but on its own it does not regenerate
  • There is a third supplementary effect "Shield regen" that determines the speed at which your permanent shield is recharging. It is always a percentage and an additive statistic. Energy Shields from the Puritan Perk and Deflector field regenerate 1% shield value/sec until they reach their maximum shield value

Personal Void Shield

  • Now gives a massive - item level*100- points worth of Shield charge boost. It can be stacked up practically indefinitely but it doesn't regenerate

Deflector Field

  • Now gives item level*25 Energy Shield, 1%/sec Shield regen, 25% Reflect chance and 100% Reflect damage for 60 seconds. Added a maximum cap to Energy charge of 15 000


Misc

  • The Enunciator Heroic Deed is available for every class now which unlocks the 'Stride of the Blessed' perk
  • Enemy HP and Damage scaling has been significantly improved, from lvl 70 the game gets gradually harder and harder. Added enemy levels up to lvl 120
  • Enemy Suppression scaling has been improved while the player's suppression damage dealt is no longer affected by the negative modifiers of mission level difficulty
  • Armour items rescaled: Now all armours give higher Damage reduce values at lower levels and lower values at maximum item level. Crusader armours also give HP now
  • Increased the value of Energy Shield, Suppression and HP enchants to varying degree
  • From now on Vulnerability stacks count as a single Debuff/ stack
  • Reborn Marauder now spawns fewer Toxic entities on death
  • Triple shot psalm doctrine now gives -30% crit chance instead of -50% damage bonus
  • Enchants providing HP regeneration have been increased by about 50-80%
  • HP gain per hit type enchants have been increased. Mostly affects the endgame
  • The Suppression regeneration have been increased by 50-80%
  • Damage bonus enchants for Psychic Power schools increased by 30% and now count as primary enchants
  • Removed Strong vs Armored tag from the Lasgun shot skill of the Tarantula turret
  • Removed execution related enchants from the Tech Adept and Psyker items, and warp damage related enchants from items used by the Tech Adept
  • Lowered the internal cooldown of the Bolter Shoot skill of the Tarantula turret from 3 sec to 2.2 sec
  • The Cognis Protocol Heroic Deed received an additional adjustment
  • Changed the Critical Strength value thresholds
  • Added Suppression damage reduce affixes, and a 75% hard cap for its maximum value

Constructs

  • Added Weapon damage for construct weapons. Since it counts as a “base damage” for all construct skills, to keep it balanced Kataphron Destroyer’s and Kastelan Robot’s weapons intentionally give half the damage as they have two separate weapon modules, but the overall damage is the same as their single weaponed counterparts
  • The Constructs' HP and Damage internal scaling were buffed to varying degree
  • Hp regen module now gives % Hp regeneration instead of flat regen to increase its usefulness in the late game. Using HP and regen as a base for tanking is a valid tactic now
  • The Kastelan's base HP scaling was toned down by about 12.5%, as it benefited more than any other construct from the previous changes
  • The Kataphron Destroyer's base HP scaling increased by about 15%, as it benefited less from the changes than other constructs. It aims faster with the Grav-Gun now
  • The Necromechanic Rainment no longer has a cast delay


The following enchants can be found now on various items equipped by the Tech Adept:

  • Ranged/Melee Damage bonus for Constructs
  • Physical/Heat Damage bonus for Constructs
  • Damage bonus for every kind of Construct Skills

DoT changes

  • DoT Suppression damage dealt increased from 0.2 to 0.5
  • Enchants related to DoT damage have been seriously buffed (300-600%)
  • They tick every 0.5 sec instead of every sec, making on-tick effects much more reliable, also being able to deliver just the right amount of damage in time (less overkill)


Reflect behavior reworked

  • All reflect effects have been moved into 2 stats: Reflect chance and Reflect % damage
    Note: Reflect does not negate the incoming damage but hits back, so it's more of an offensive stat
  • Reflect chance: the chance of hitting back, on damage taken
  • Reflect % damage: Cap removed, now can be stacked indefinitely, hits back for a percentage of the incoming damage
    Note: Reflect chance and Reflect damage don't work without each other


Fixed bugs



  • Several stability improvements and fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the Personal Void Shield and the Fiery Form dropped off if a cutscene was triggered
  • The Archeotech Shotgun has now 14 ammunition up from 12
  • Fixed the "HP and Suppression gained on Kill equal to +100% the killing blow's Damage" enchant
  • Fixed an issue where the upgrade option appeared under Tarot Empyrean Seals which cannot be upgraded in the first place
  • Corrected the translation of 'Exposed State' in the German localization as it was misleading
  • Fixed the Deflector Field's tooltip
  • Fixed an issue where Tarot card consumables could also be used on locked Tarot cards
  • Fixed an issue where the Extreme Fortune consumable sometimes did not affect the loot drop chances
  • Implemented an extra check for the Efficient Operative achievement
  • When sending a message from the terminal on the Command Bridge it was not possible to attach Construct modules to the message. This has been fixed
  • Toxic entity was not properly classified as a chaos demon. This has been corrected

This time, you will obtain an Adaptive Cranial Implant to be able to track down the vile Skull Procurators who are preparing for a mysterious ritual. You need to identify and eliminate these malefactors before they can carry out their "Skull Tithe"

Event description:

Conclave operatives have learned about a new-fangled scheme of the Archenemy dubbed the "Skull Tithe". Vile agents known as "Skull Procurators", wielding previously unseen warp-symbols have been unleashed to reap skulls for the mysterious ritual.

In response, the Conclave has issued a special implant designed to gather data about this threat. When equipped, it enables its user to identify and tell apart these malefactors from their generic brethren. It will also analyze kill data from the sensorium feed and provide valuable insight to both the user and the noospheric cogitator network.

We expect all Throne Agents to supply their assigned implant with data to its maximum storage capacity.


New Void Crusade: Azure


  • Enemy factions: Alpha Legion, Black Legion, Khorne
  • New mechanics: Gain stacking damage and defense bonuses with each completed mission, and defeat the Chaos Knight at the end!



Fixed bugs


  • Fixed a crash issue which occurred in Void Crusade
  • Players will no longer stuck in systems which was caused by using Intels before they unlocked the whole Subsector
  • Fixed an issue where the notification of upgraded Tarot cards were not displayed on the screen
  • Fixed a loot chance issue where players sometimes did not receive the correct amount of loot in missions
  • Fixed a Psalm code Doctrine with the following effect: All AoE attacks affect a 30% smaller area but gain +150% Damage
  • The Mitigator component did not restore suppression properly. This has been fixed
  • Fixed the tooltip icons of the Battle Dance passive skill and the Hasten passive skill

  • Tarot cards could not be applied onto missions in case they could be upgraded. This has been fixed

  • A 'Salvage all relic items' option has been implemented under the 'Salvage' tab
  • A 'Sell all relic items' tab has been implemented in the inventory

  • Deleted two scores from the Maelstrom of Carnage and the City of Suffering leaderboards as these were acquired by fraud

New Event: Planetary Reclamation

Malcorum Prime was once a proud Imperial world. Its manufactories now produce weapons for the Archenemy, its monuments to the Emperor lie broken, the tombs if its martyrs defiled. The High Lords of the Caligari sector have decided to end the heresy on the planet and retake it for the glory of the Imperium.
 
The Caligari Conclave has been formally petitioned to assist in the military campaign on Malcorum Prime. In response, the Conclave instructs all throne agents to partake in the operation according to the extent their duty schedule allows.


New Crusade: Viridian

Fight the Nurgle, Khorne and Rebel Chaos Guard units in the brand new Void Crusade and collect your righteous epic rewards. The new Crusade is available in Hardcore mode as well.


New unique Viridian Avatar Frames are available at Custodian Rebus' shop

  • Fixed a tutorial issue which appeared after one completed the base campaign's tutorial missions

  • The movement aspect of the Short Burst skill of the Archeotech Shotgun has been slightly adjusted to respond better
  • The global cooldown of the Single shot skill of the Archeotech Boltgun has been reduced to 0.3 sec from 0.5 sec

New Features



Amber Void Crusade


Gather 5 Amber Shards to open the brand new Amber Crusade and complete its challenging missions to receive epic rewards! Fight and defeat the Khorne forces, the Black Legion, and the Rebel Guard to collect your righteous bounty.

Hardcore Void Crusades


Players can now create Hardcore Void Crusades. Hardcore Crusades require 7 shards, but the overall loot bonus and quality is increased by 50%.

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes upon rerolling all enchants on a relic item one or two enchant slots could drop off

New event: Hidden Foes

Enemies of the Imperium have established many hideouts across the subsector in an attempt to avoid righteous prosecution. A special purpose intelligence unit has gathered significant data on these cowardly scum.They shall not avoid their just punishment much longer.
The relevant information shall now be disseminated through secure channels to all Throne Agents. The Conclave expects every opportunity to eradicate the hiding vermin be taken.

Hidden rooms on interior maps will appear far more often than usual. Find as many as you can and eliminate enemies found in them. Event rewards at the end are based on the number of hidden rooms cleared.

Ecru Void Crusade

Gather 5 Ecru Shards to open the brand new Ecru Crusade and complete its challenging missions to receive epic rewards! Fight and defeat the Alpha Legion, Tyranids, and the Aeldari to collect your righteous bounty.

Cortex Fragments

From now on Cortex Fragments can be looted from Villains, Elites, and Commanders. After collecting 100 of them you can exchange them for Favour at Custodian Rebus. The maximum amount of fragments you can gather is 200 per week. Favour then can be exchanged for valuable items at Custodian Rebus’s store.

  • The Remote mine now places 3 mines simultaneously that can be detonated one by one, its damage increased from 5.0/piece to 8.0 and received a Critical Strike tag as well
  • The Stun mine now places 10 mines, it properly deals massive Suppression damage and its cooldown was increased to 15 seconds


Ranged weapons


Heavy Bolter

  • The Spin up salvo skill was renamed to Full Auto and the spin up was removed. The skill now fires every 0.125 sec instead of 0.3 sec, received a Traumatize tag, its damage and spread was slightly reduced and its cooldown values adjusted to 0.5 sec to provide a comparable DPS
  • The Concentrated salvo skill’s fire rate was increased from 0.3 sec/shot to 0.225 sec/shot, its spread reduced from 12° to 5° and its cooldown values were adjusted to 0.5 sec
  • The Disengage skill’s spread was increased from 12° to 16°, its fire rate was increased from 0.3 sec/shot to 0.15 sec/shot. The skill’s damage was increased 0.75 to 0.8 and its cooldown is 14 seconds now
  • The Hellstorm skill’s spread area got reduced to a 2.5 meter radius from 3.0 meter, its cooldown values adjusted to 0.5 sec to provide a comparable DPS as well as its spread angle got reduced from 8° to 5°. The skill’s damage was increased from 0.86 to 1.4, received a spin up and Knockdown, Knockback and Weak vs Armored tags. Its explosion radius reduced from 2 meters to 1.5 meters and its cooldown is 10 seconds now


Multi-Melta

  • The charge-up time of the Melta Blast and the Overcharged Shot skills were halved (from 3 seconds to 1.5 seconds)


Shotgun

  • The Single Shot’s Weak vs Armored tag was removed and its damage multiplier was increased from 1.0 to 1.3
  • The Flechette Rounds’ maximum damage was reduced to 200% from 300%, its cooldown was decreased from 5 sec to 2.5 sec and its charge-up also reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
  • The Short Burst received an Assault tag while its Giant Killer tag was removed. Its cooldown was reduced to 3 sec from 10 sec and its damage multiplier was slightly increased. While firing the player moves forward
  • The Manstopper Round received a Physical Vulnerability tag and its cooldown was reduced from 3 seconds to 1.75 seconds


Lasgun

  • The Single Shot received a Heat Vulnerability tag, its damage multiplier changed from 0.92 to 0.82 and it now pierces through multiple enemies
  • The Short Burst received a Fleshbane tag, its cooldown was reduced to 1 second from 2 seconds, its damage multiplier changed from 0.84 to 1.0 and it fires 4 shots instead of 3 now
  • The Aimed Shot skill’s damage multiplier changed from 2.2 to 2.9
  • The Hotshot's damage multiplier was increased from 1.0 to 1.5, its range increased from 28 meters to 40 meters and the player keeps moving backward while firing


Plasma Gun

  • The Single Shot’s damage multiplier increased from 0.85 to 1.0 and received a Fleshbane tag
  • The Short Burst skill’s overheat value reduced to 0.5/projectile from 2/projectile and the time between the projectiles got reduced from 0.4 sec to 0.2 sec
  • The Focused Bolt received a Piercing tag and its damage multiplier reduced from 3 to 2
  • The Compressed Plasma's charge-up time reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds and its damage multiplier changed from 3.0 to 2.66


Grav-gun

  • The Single Shot’s damage multiplier was increased from 0.63 to 1.08, its animation speed increased from 0.5 to 0.3 second
  • The Temporal Anomaly received a Piercing tag, its cooldown was increased from 3 to 4 seconds and its damage multiplier increased from 2.0 to 2.2
  • The Gravity Surge received a High Suppression tag but the Stun and Slow tags were removed, its cooldown was adjusted to 0.5 sec and its damage multiplier was reduced from 1.0 to 0.66. The area of the secondary effect was reduced from 5 meters to 3 meters
  • The Gravity Implosion’s initial damage multiplier was reduced from 1.0 to 0.5, its overheat reduced from 5/shot to 4/shot and its overtime damage multiplier was increased from 0.2 to 0.475


Plasma Cannon

  • The Single Shot skill received a Heat Vulnerability, an Armor Breaking and a Breacher tag while its Demolisher tag was removed. Its animation speed was slightly increased and its damage multiplier was reduced from 1.65 to 1.4
  • The Overdrive Discharge’s base attack speed was increased from 0.5 sec/shot to 0.25 sec/shot, its damage multiplier increased from 0.85 to 1.2 and removed the spin up as well as the Armor Breaking tag
  • The Compressed Plasma’s chargeup time was reduced from 3 sec to 1.5 sec but its damage increase was kept
  • The Plasma Barrage’s number of projectiles was increased from 4 to 6 when fired


Grenade Launcher

  • The weapon’s reload time was increased from 1.5 sec to 2.5 sec
  • The Single Shot skill’s damage multiplier was increased from 1.0 to 1.35 and its cooldown was reduced from 0.9 sec to 0.65 sec
  • The Short Burst skill now fires every 0.2 seconds instead of 0.5 seconds and its spread was reduced from 4.5 meter radius to 4.0 meters
  • Proximity Mine now launches 5 mines instead of 1. The mines have a 1.5 sec arming time and do not explode on direct contact. The mines’ damage multiplier was reduced from 1.6 to 0.75 and its activation radius changed from 1.5 meters to 2.5 meters


Heavy Flamer

  • The Flame Cone received an Assault tag as well as a Flee tag (Flee causes enemies with red or no suppression to turn their back and run. It affects all enemy types) while its High Suppression tag was removed. It now causes Burning and while using it the player slowly moves forward
  • The Phosphorous Splash’s damage multiplier was increased from 1.2 to 1.5, received a High Suppression tag and the projectiles’ speed was doubled
  • The Scorched Earth received a High Suppression tag


Boltgun

  • The Single Shot’s damage multiplier was increased 0.95 to 1.4, its animation speed was also increased and adjusted the global cooldown value to 0.5 second
