Patch 043: Minor Hotfix - 12/01/2021

Hey all, we've just pushed out a small hotfix! Remember to update your game.

**Bug Fixes**
+ Reduced instances of AI running through lethal hexes
+ Fixed Warden's move action not triggering lethal hexes
+ Reverted the Zharkus-gorefist-trapped change
+ Fix for invisible fighter issue
+ Precise Use of Force no longer triggers if a ploy or upgrade stops a fighter from dying
+ Death Sentence and Drag Them Down are now more accurate, triggering as soon as a fighter is moved into a new position
+ Extra charge, move and guard tokens no longer appear when a fighter is uninspired (this bug was caused by fighters holding onto the tokens applied to their uninspired state)
+ Various stability improvements
+ Various localisation updates

Q1 2021 Development Roadmap

Hi all! Producer Nik here, bringing you the latest development roadmap for Warhammer Underworlds: Online! We’re pleased to announce that we have more warbands, more cards, and more features on the way in the coming months!

More warbands. Stormsire’s Cursebreakers are making their way to the Mirrored City. Battle-mages with mastery over howling storm magic, they have been sent to investigate the curse of Shadespire! Two more warbands are seen in the distance, though shrouded in thick, magical fog...

More cards. We have a number of Universal cards coming to diversify your card pool, prepare yourselves! As always, these cards come as a **FREE** update to all players.

More features. Emotes to help you communicate with your opponent in real-time. Deck templates for those looking for help with deck-building elements, or those who want to try out some new tactics. Ranked season end, bringing with it lush rewards and an opportunity to really show off your mastery.

There’s even more happening in this period that I can’t discuss right now, but trust me when I say you should be very excited.

Patch 042: Minor Hotfix - 21/12/2020

Hey all! We've just pushed a very small patch that contains:

Logs



We're aware that people are experiencing issues with their decks being deleted. We've added some extra logging to the game to help track these issues down, so if you experience this please use the in game bug reporting tool. We also recommend that you use the warband code tool to backup your favourite decks.

Patch 041: Minor Hotfix - 16/12/2020

Hey all! We've just pushed a small patch that fixes the bugs below:

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where inspiring a fighter on a lethal hex caused that fighter to take damage
  • Improved lethal hex damage calculations
  • Added a fix for various tooltip issues and UI freezing
  • Gorefist no longer reacts when Zharkus is Trapped
  • Fixes to prevent matchmaking errors mid-game

Patch 040: Minor Hotfix - 11/12/2020

Hey all! In addition to our big update yesterday, we've just pushed a small patch that fixes some of the bugs below:

Bug Fixes

+ Fixed an issue where hexes would behave as if they were occupied when they weren't
+ Daemonic Resilience will now discard after first attack
+ Living Wall won’t trigger when one fighter is alive

Patch 039: Changing the Rules of Engagement

Hey everyone, we've just pushed out a new update!

Make sure to update your game on Steam for those changes to come into effect. You should see 1.4.1 in-game once you have the update.



Rules Update



  • Guard: Fighters on Guard can no longer be driven back
  • Initial roll off: The roll off at the start of the game allows the winner to choose who places their board first
  • Lethal hexes: Hexes that will damage whoever moves into them, either through push, knockback, movement etc. Placeable during board placement.
  • Super Actions: ‘Charging’ and ‘Scything’ attacks are considered Super Actions. Inspiring and scoring objectives will now take place after Super Actions are completed
  • Surge: There is a Surge Limit of no more than 6 Surge Objectives per deck (“Score Immediately” Objectives)
  • Restricted list: Players are able to have a maximum of 5 Restricted Cards in their Deck (see below)

  • Objectives: Advancing Strike, Alone in the Darkness, Change of Tactics, Defensive Strike, Escalation, Precise Use of Force, Sorcerous Scouring
  • Gambits: Illusory Fighter, My Turn, Ready for Action, Trap, Twist the Knife, Sudden Appearance
  • Upgrades: A Destiny to Meet, Awakened Weapon, Deathly Fortitude, Helpful Whispers, Incredible Strength, Shadeglass Dagger, Shadeglass Hammer, Soultrap


Bug Fixes



  • Zharkus’ Gorefist will no longer trigger when Trapped
  • Updated combat log text to include healing text
  • Fixed Steady Volley’s interaction with Piercing Stare
  • Fixed My Turn’s interaction with Shattering Terrain
  • Fixed an issue where the game over screen would appear twice
  • Fixed an issue where ‘Shadeglass weapon’ upgrades would not discard themselves when used
  • Various ‘attack again’ ploys will no longer trigger after Expendable (Tireless Assault, Oathsworn, Necromancer Commands, Endless Malice and Eidetic Memory)
  • Living Wall will no longer cause the game to freeze if there are not enough friendly living fighters on the battlefield
  • Various stability improvements


Known Issues



  • Living Wall can still be played with only one fighter on the field, but will not have any effect
  • Lethal Hexes sometimes do not visually highlight during drivebacks or pushes (they can still be selected)
  • Confusion fails to apply damage when a fighter is swapped into a Lethal Hex

Patch 037: Minor Hotfix - 29/10/2020

Card Fixes




  • Mighty Swing now won’t work with attacks of 2+ range
  • Shattering Terrain no longer triggers during a Power Step
  • Defiant Strike now working as intended
  • Furious Inspiration and Inspiration Strikes can’t inspire those affect by Cruel Taunt and Maddening Cackle
  • Maddening Cackle will not trigger if an attack that would fail only succeeds because the fighter is Trapped
  • Grimnir’s Blessing only triggers on Shields now
  • Escalation won’t count Upgrades equipped in the End Phase


Bug Fixes




  • Fixed some issues with The Chosen Axes stats and progression
  • Fixes to the game getting stuck during the Power Step or on fighter inspiration
  • Fixes for Piercing Stare’s effects
  • Fixes to missing buttons on victory/loss screen
