Greetings mighty and blood-thirsty warriors!

First of all, in this apocalypse, we wish for all of our gamers to stay safe and keep playing video games. preferably Warriors: Rise to Glory!

Things have been quiet for a while, but it is not because we were sunbathing at the beach or playing Battle Dice all day. It is because we are working very hard to bring you the ABSOLUTELY EPIC CRAZY Online experience you ever had (No exaggeration here :) ).

We wanted to give you a sneak peek and some development updates about awesome things we are brewing here.

Multiple Warriors Arena


Lately, we unveiled the "Bloodbath" arena - a place for 4+ warriors to fight until the last man standing!
This type of arena allows for a whole new array of strategies, collaborations, and Maneuvers.



We are waiting to see what kind of tactics you are going to come up with!

Player's House


In the Online Multiplayer, besides upgrading your-always-dying warriors, players will also have a persistent upgradeable house.
After each battle, your house receives money and soul points based on the battle rewards.
With these, you can upgrade your house with bonuses that stay with you forever like:
  • Increased damage for all weapons
  • increased armor
  • bonus starting warrior money
  • bonus skills
  • attribute points for each new warrior.

The cool thing about these upgrades, they stay with you FOREVER. Unlike your warrior which you cannot get too attached to.



We will expand more about the player house in later Development updates.

Lots of new things!


There a lot of new features and content coming with the multiplayer which we will unveil in future news.
For now, we can tell you there will be:

Patch 0.7 is HERE!


Greetings brave Warriors!

The day has come and patch 0.7 is now LIVE!

We have been baking this in the oven past 3 months this patch was baking in the oven, and now you get to play with all it's new content!
This is our BIGGEST patch ever released and the last major patch for the single player campaign as we now shift all our focus towards the much anticipated Online Multiplayer.

3 new difficulty levels


Patch 0.7 let you choose from 3 difficulty levels, so if you find the game too easy or too difficult you can now choose a difficulty level best suited for you!

Each difficulty has different settings, gameplay changes and achievements. Check the patch notes to know exactly what each difficulty level contains.

Gems


New item type - Gems!

You can now head to the new "Gems Shop" and choose from 10 different types of gem, each one has its own special ability. You can attach gems either to weapons or armor (depends on the gem type)
With the new Gems you can tailor your combat style even more!

Glory Leaderboard


Time to say goodbye to the old Survival Leaderboard and say hello to the new Glory Leaderboard!
From now on, you will get glory points for each all victories in duels and tournaments.
The amount of glory points you gain depends on the difficulty level you are playing at.
Now you can compete with Warriors all around the globe on who has the strongest lineage and warrior!

Online Multiplayer Open Beta


A few weeks back, we opened the Steam page for the Online Multiplayer Open Beta. You can now follow and add it to your wishlist.
We plan the beta to go live on January 2020. Stay tuned for news and updates on our community channels.

  • Added reset character button - Now you can reset your progress and start over.
  • 3 New crowd buffs:

    • Precision Buff - This buff enhances your attack senses specifically, giving you bonus Attack points.
    • Warmonger's Fist - Take this to become stronger, giving you bonus damage to all attacks. Because there is no such thing as inflicting too much damage!
    • Guardian’s Virtue - Your instincts will become sharper, making you more vigilant for incoming attacks and giving you bonus Defense points.

  • Open wound and Charge of doom! Skills are now affected by player level – 1 damage per level.

  • Using crowd bananas no longer remove crowd excitement, instead levels 1 / 2 of bananas removes 1 bar from opponents’ bar.

  • Added Tooltip to shield and ranged regarding the lock of one when using the other.

  • Changed text color for failed quests.
  • When hovering a scar button, it will now preview the scar.
  • Player can now be rotated in Shops / Inventory screen.

  • Fixed issue that showed 0% Hit chance for Charge when enemy is in range.
  • Fixed issue where damage buff taken in battle didn’t appear in battle stats.
  • Fixed issue where ranged damage appears when there is no ranged weapon equipped.
  • Fixed issue where passing through a fire trap would mess up the turn sequence.
  • Fixed issue where buffs / traps would activate when they are adjacent to the player.
  • Fixed issue with bananas button after Dead Ned's resurrection.
  • Fixed issue where Charge could have been used without enough stamina.
  • Fixed issues with Baffling Performer, opponent actions and walking backwards no longer grants a crowd bar.

Here at Gavra Games Studios we are working hard as always on improving the game, Adding features, Squashing bugs, and especially - working on the much anticipated online multiplayer mode of Warriors: Rise to Glory!

And so, our first step with bringing the Multiplayer mode to the public begins with the announcement that the Online Multiplayer Open Beta page is now LIVE!
The Beta will be FREE and open for everyone who wish to try and humiliate other puny warriors.

We have a lot of plans for the multiplayer version and we will regularly share more information with you as soon as we can.

Online Multiplayer main features:

  • Play in classic 1 vs 1 duels and tournaments.
  • Participate in group fights in teams or free for all with up to 6 warriors in the same arena.
  • Strengthen your warrior's lineage for all generations to come.
  • Compete with players around the world on global glory-board.
  • Play in co-op mode with your friends or other warriors from the world.


In addition, we are currently working on patch 0.7, which will be the last major content patch for the game as our focus will be shifted towards the multiplayer mode.
The patch is scheduled to be released by the end of July.

  • 3 new difficulty levels are added to the game
  • Item gems: You will be able to customize your fighting style even more buy attaching gems to your items and adding them bonus stats!

Patch 0.57 now available!


Hello brave warriors and welcome to the Indiekingdom news report!

We are happy to announce that Patch 0.57 is LIVE and kicking butt. The patch has many new features requested by our community as well as minor & major bug fixes.

Important note:


In our next Patch (0.7) the Leaderboard will be Reset! Thus concluding our first season.
The top 5 players which will rule the leaderboard will forever be honor as Season 1 champions in our “Hall of Fame” screen. So put on your best gear and charge into survival…

Patch 0.57 notes:



New features


  • When encountering bosses, both the player and the boss will say something about the player's ancestor who died fighting that boss.

Gameplay:



  • You can now offer up to 50 silvers when begging for mercy in the tutorial
  • Dice animations in "Battle Dice" are now be skipped (Finally!!!)
  • Changed “Take it easy man” skill as follows:

    • Level 1 – 10% to 5% Stamina discount
    • Level 2 – 20% to 10% Stamina discount
    • Level 3 – 35% to 25% Stamina discount

  • Random name now gives you a random Title.
  • Changed controller support to be much more intuitive.
  • Duel button now unlocked when creating a first character.

  • Exploding head in certain executions will no longer appear when gore is disabled

  • Fixed Issue where Baffling performer would cause enemy to walk back to his position when stepping on a bear trap.
  • Fixed issue where kicking a warrior towards a "bear trap" when the trap disappears would result in the game getting stuck
  • Character Statistics now reset


After this we are going to release our last major update for the Single Player campaign which will include these key features:

  • 3 game mode difficulties – Easy, Medium and Hard. Easy and Normal mode will not have a Permadeath system but checkpoints according to your achievements.
  • Weapons and Armors special abilities. Since day 1 we wanted to have our items with special abilities so that you can custom your fighting skills even more. In Patch 0.7 you can equip special Gems that will make your items even more badass!
  • New Leaderboard calculation system – Score will be based according to accomplishments in the game
  • Overall game balance.
  • “Dead Ned” could be killed in more traditional ways in Easy and Normal modes.
  • New gamble options in “Battle Dice”
  • And much more…


Another great news are that we have started working on the loooooong anticipated Online Multiplayer feature! We still can’t say much about it, all we can say at this point is that it’s going to be EPIC!!!

Full Patch 0.55 notes:


The game now supports macOS!

Graphics:



  • Entering a battle in the tournament menu will now fade into black
  • Walking into a "Bear trap" will no longer make the walking animation stop
  • Blood splatter will now fade away instead to suddenly disappearing

Gameplay:



  • Survival score will now sync with the survival leaderboard score

Sound:



  • The slow motion sound triggered when Dead Ned dies is now better synced to the cutscene
  • Added click sounds to the arena buttons

UI:



  • When click on a button in the main menu which leads to an already open will result in closing that screen.

Bug Fixes:



  • Killing dead ned will no longer result in the game getting stuck
  • It is no longer possible to press on an item in the chest screen
  • When a warrior dies from a toilet thrown by the crowd (?!) the toilet will no longer disappear
  • When a warrior dies from bananas thrown by the crowd a root effect will no longer appear
  • When a warrior is rooted he can no longer get pushed

Update 0.54 is LIVE!



Welcome again, warriors! While you were out there kinda busy fighting to the death we weren’t idle either: we’ve been working hard in a new update for Warriors: Rise to Glory! for the amusement of the Mad Emperor Ayziz and his crowd of spectators. Today we release Update 0.54, where you will find what you need to entertain your public as they deserve: with great amounts of mindless violence and silly moves! Update 0.54 adds two new execution animations, for the fiercest warriors who never forfeit a life. Inspired by anime action movies, this totally over-the-top animations will blow your enemies’ minds – and quite literally!



Also, this patch adds up to 12 animations for you to entertain the crowds in combat. Taunt everyone by banging your shield, raise your sword to rally their hearts to your side or shake-shake-shake your booty – whatever it takes for them to love you and lend you a hand in combat! We have also added brand new metagame tutorials and something that you had asked for: a Reset Progress option. We’ve got something for German warriors as well: full German language support, so you can mock your opponents in your own mother language! And finally, of course, tons of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Check the full patch notes below!

  • Added 2 new executions: 2 new ways to finish off your fallen opponent! Unlock them by reaching level 3 and 5.
  • Added 12 new entertain moves!
  • Added a new trap: Extreme bear trap – When stepped on, this trap will lock you to its grid and will make you lose your next turn. So watch your step…
  • Added the option to reset your game progress. The button can be found in the bottom of the “Character” screen.

New Content:


2 new hair styles have been added:

  • Straight from the Gonoha village - the Gonoha hair style!
  • because many of you requested we add girls in the game – we added the Girl hair style! Now you warrior can look fabulous!

Graphics:



  • Random generated enemies will no longer have the same hair and skin colors (for example red skin and red hair)
  • When a warrior is stunned he will stay in a looping “Stunned” animation until the stun period is over
  • Projectiles hitting the “Peasant” shield will now bounce properly

Gameplay:



  • You can now left-click on a buff in the arena in order to move to its grid
  • Pressing the left mouse button will skip “Battle Dice” animations
  • You will no longer receive “Crowd Bars” when switching weapons while having both “Baffling performer” and “Sleight of Hands” skills

UI:



  • You can now drag an item from the inventory to the shops in order to sell it
  • Left click on an item icon in the shops will no longer purchase it

Patch 0.5 is HERE!

It has been some time since our last update, we've been pretty busy designing the much anticipated MULTIPLAYER version of the game which we will start developing soon. There are exciting news about it, we can't say much at the moment, we can only say that it's going to be AWESOME!!! So make sure that you follow our steam page and newsletter to keep up with the latest news.

We are happy to announce that patch 0.5 is LIVE!
We added a lot of content in this patch, as well as many improvements and bug fixes.

Main highlights:



  • Expended Lineage Screen - now the “Lineage” screen includes the “Statistics” and “Ancestry” panels. In these panels you can follow all the important statistics of your play-throughs and a place to remember all your fallen warriors (who died while you are trying to satisfy your need for violence).
  • Bullet Time – Ever wondered what it would feel like to slow down time? Well, wonder no more! Now you can control time itself and create great cinematic effects while kicking your opponent’s ass! That can be done simply by holding the right mouse button (or X on an x-box controller).
  • Camera Controls – What’s bullet time without camera action?? Now you can control the camera angle simply by holding the middle mouse button. Press it once to reset the camera.

Patch 0.5 Notes:


New Content:



  • New warrior titles are now available by unlocking different achievements:

    • 3 Balls.
    • The Chicken – Unlock by retreating from 10 battle.
    • The Gambler – Unlock by completing 30 games of “Battle Dice”.
    • Meme Lord – Unlock by collecting all Meme sigils in the game (Gotta catch ’em all!)
    • Master of Gas – Unlock by farting on your friend’s face or breaking his balls in Hotseat Mode.

  • 2 New warrior tattoos:

    • Scary clown warrior – Unlock by entertaining the crowd 200 times.
    • Zombie warrior – Unlock by dying 15 times.

  • Camera rotation now available in battles – Pressing the middle mouse button and dragging the mouse will now rotate the camera in battles making some awesome cinematic effects!
  • Bullet-Time effect – Ever wondered what it would feel like to slow down time? Well, wonder no more! Now you can control time itself and create great cinematic effects while kicking your opponent’s ass!

  • Added new warrior skin – The burnt warrior: Can be unlocked by facing “Azar – Molded by Fire” in combat.
  • When creating a new character the starting look would be like your previous warrior instead of the default bald, ugly, generic one.
  • Added scroll ability in the banner screen.

Bug Fixes:



  • Fixed issue where “Dead Ned” wouldn’t die from “Smelly Artillery” and the toilet would float in the air.
  • Fixed issue where the player would automatically attack “Dead Ned” after he resurrects.
  • Fixed issue where “Dead Ned” would not get stunned from the toilet being thrown at him after he resurrects.
  • Fixed issue where the toilet would stay floating in the air after “Smelly Artillery” would defeat your opponent.
  • Fixed issue where warriors could move while Root effect was effective.

Greetings brave warriors of the IndieKingdom!
We are happy to announce that Patch 0.47 is out and kicking!
There are many new features and improvements, this brings us one step closer to the full launch of the game and more content for the Multiplayer mode.

You can now customize banners that will represent your lineage and hoist them proudly in the arena and the village! Notice that some sigils are still locked... But fear not, brave warriors, they will be available among more cosmetic items which you can unlocked by gaining achievements in Patch 0.49
We want to be as open with you as we can, the initial plan was to have famous internet memes as sigils for your bloodline. Unfortunately unlike the IndieKingdom, in this world there is such a things called: "Copyrights", and you can't just take somebody's creation and use it in your game!!!
We are trying to contact the creators of TrollFace, Doge, All Things!, ForeverAlone, Megusta, YaoMing and more...

Patch 0.47 Notes:


New Features


  • Banners – Customize your own House Sigil by choosing an icon and banner color and show it off in battles! This is just the beginning as we are planning to add more icons. If you have an idea for a cool banner icon, please let us know!
  • Added 2 new skills:

    • “Baffling Performer” – Ranged attacks and movement now grant you 1 Crowd Bar (Previous “Baffling Performer” is now called “Dirty Dancing”).
    • “Spectacular Entry” - Start battle with 2/4/8 crowd bars (Replacing “The Archeologist”).

  • Added new “Disrespecting Banana” Buff - It’s yellow… It’s sticky… And it’s humiliating!
    Collect them to arm your crowd with more bananas, adding 3 bars to your crowd excitement meter.

Languages:


  • Added support for Traditional Chinese language!
  • Minor fixes in some languages.
  • Minor changes for the end game text.

Graphics:


  • Added an actual Warrior to play against you in “Battle Dice” (You are no longer playing against a ghost!)
  • Trophy icon will no longer appear near the player score in the leaderboards if he is not in the top 5.
  • Quests’ texts are now much larger is Chinese and are easier to read. So keep on questing mighty warriors!
  • Added a tooltip for the survival button indicating when the mode is going to be unlocked.
  • Added a tooltip for the survival button indicating why it’s unlocked.
  • Added a tooltip for “Strength” and “Agility” attribute buttons indicating how many points need for unlocking a new weapon in the shops.
  • Dodge animation timing has been improved.
  • Critical Hit effect now stay a little bit longer.
  • Added support for 1920X1200 Resolution.
  • Warriors will no longer say something when they are hit by bananas
  • Broken “Stun Object” thrown by the crowd will now leave physical debris.
  • When a warrior dies as a result of fire damage, he will now wait a few seconds before he decides he had enough and DIES.

Gameplay:


  • Added a new step when creating a new Warrior, letting you customize your banner before start your amazing journey.
  • “Dead Ned” Boss fight is now easier (As requested by many players).
  • “Rally The Crowd” action Crowd Bars requirements and effects have been adjusted:

    • Level 1 - requires 2 Crowd Bars, drains 15% crowd excitement from your opponent and inflicts less damage.
    • Level 2 - requires 4 Crowd Bars, drains 25% crowd excitement from your opponent and inflicts less damage.
    • Level 3 - requires 8 Crowd Bars and drains 35% crowd excitement from your opponent.

  • AI opponents will now sometimes prefer to start the battle with a ranged weapon instead of using their first turn to switch weapons.
  • “Baffling Performer” is now called “Dirty Dancing”.
  • Removed “The Archeologist” and “Loot Hoarder” skills.
  • Enter button in the survival menu will no longer become highlighted when there is no controller connected
  • HP text has been aligned in “Battle Dice”
  • Added the option to skip the victory screen animation by pressing “Space”.

Sound:


  • Main Menu music will now fade out when opening a cool treasure box.
  • Added dice sound for the random button in the Warrior name and title screen.

Bug Fixes:


  • “Stun Weapon” thrown by the crowd will no longer hit by accident the commanding player (Oh the irony…).
  • Fixed issue where controller navigation would not work when skipping the tutorial.
  • Fixed issue where the leaderboard would appear when skipping the tutorial.
  • Fixed issue where returning for the “Hall of Fame” Screen would get the game stuck with a controller.
  • Options screen will no longer stay visible when opening the hall of fame screen.



Hotfix 0.452 is live!


Hello mighty warriors!

Today, hotfix 0.452 is live, and it with the Halloween event has come to an end.
The indiekingdom has survived the "Pumpking-Head" Warriors menace and everything is now back to normal!
