As many of you may know, we’ve been hard at work on Successor, and it’s shaping up really well. In many ways, Successor is an offspring of Wartile, drawing inspiration from it and incorporating much of the feedback we’ve received from the Wartile community over the years.
We’ve added several new features, including:
Full tactical pause with a unique twist
Procedural systems
A campaign generator for creating campaigns
Deeper meta-gameplay
Lots of playable Lords and Heroes in a world full of creatures.

Wartile DLC with Tilt Five Augmented Reality
"Exciting news for all Wartile fans!"The Tilt Five integration DLC is now available for free on Steam.
Experience the game with Augmented Reality technology that allows you to "physically" move and manipulate the miniature figurines on the game board, just as you would with a traditional tabletop game, adding a strong sense of tactile interaction.
While the Tilt Five system requires a bit of learning and adaption, it can significantly enhance the gaming experience of Wartile by providing a more tactile and immersive tabletop gaming experience that combines the best elements of traditional tabletop and digital gaming.

Successor Open Playtest
Hi everyone
We just want to use this opportunity to raise awareness about Successor, our new project made in the spirit of Wartile.
We would love to have our Wartile community give the Successor Alpha Demo a playtest and let us know what you think works well so far.
While the Demo is still missing lots of its core features and does not resemble the final product, your perspective helps us prioritize our further development.
The Playtest will be open most of the Weekend or until we have had enough feedback this time around.

It's again the time of year where Ivor Bonecrusher fights shirtless, even inside the cold caves of the Heidrun Clan.

Our next project
Some time ago, we revealed that we are working on Successor, heavily inspired by Wartile, but with lots of new features and ways of doing things, for example a region map that you now can explore.
As with the development of Wartile, we try to engage very early with our community and use their feedback to make a better game. We are slowly opening up for play testing of Successor, where those with access can provide us with feedback based on an early playable version of Successor.

In the footsteps of Wartile, both in spirit and visual expression, we are excited to reveal our next game in development, SUCCESSOR.

As most of you know, we wanted to create a fresh angle on the Strategy genre with Wartile and honestly gained lots of learnings in the process.
With Successor, we aim to bring those lessons to use in a way where we still keep our unique edge and identity, but also meet the expectations and feedback from our community in creating a great and entertaining game experience.

Our Wartile Vikings arrived on the US shores this week and to raid the Nintendo Switch, hopefully making quite a spectacle. https://youtu.be/niK7BU2TV1w Our second fleet heading for the Nintendo Switch European regions got lost at sea, but they will hopefully find their bearings and arrive shortly.
As a small independent studio, shipping our first production Wartile to Steam, Xbox One, PS4, and now Nintendo Switch is an outstanding achievement. We hope it will help us continue to elaborate and grow the Wartile franchise.
All this is thanks to our fantastic community, who embraced and enjoyed Wartile despite being different and innovative toward strongly defined genres. For that, we are very grateful ːsteamhappyː

Small Hotfix patch
Hi everyone
We have just released a small hotfix patch v 1.2.114.0 to fix a few pretty grave bugs that slipped through with the Hel's Nightmare DLC
Fixed a bug At Funeral Mound, the 2nd and 3rd level, where Ralf Stonebone and Ulf Spearhead did not count in the objective counter, when killing them, making it impossible to reach 4 out of 4 kills.
Fixed an issue in Caves of Yggdrassil where spirits located in the "key" room would spawn endless copies of themself, making it impossible to reach the key, yet escape the room.
We have also fixed an issue with the intro menu that, to some players, resulted in a remarkable FPS drop.
In the meantime, we have been made aware of other potential bugs that we are working on reproducing and apply a fix as soon as possible.
At some boards, the music comes to a halt and restarts.
At Caves of Yggdrasil, the secondary objective counts as completed even if it's not.
There might be a bug with saving progress if leaving the game directly after completing a battle board.

Today we set sails to Hel's Nightmare, the follow up from the Wartile Campaign plunging your war party into a desperate effort to save the North from the darkness of the underworld.

Five new custom-designed diorama battle boards - Offering variated tactical challenges, all set in a unique mood and style.
New Viking hero - Unlock Ogier the Dane a strong two-handed wielding warrior.
Four new Action Cards – Unlock new action cards to spice up your tactical game.
Eight new Unique Items – Weapons and armor with magical powers tipping the balance of battle.
Two new Power Tokens – Upgrade your Vikings with the secret powers of the gods.

Difficulty Tiers The reputation tiers at the first battle board Trail of Death are set to 18/24/33 hopefully this will cover the various reputation stages that players might have. All tiers will be unlocked from the start allowing players to choose the reputation tier that fits them best. Jumping to a higher tier will unlock the items from the tiers below it.

Hel's Nightmare release date
We are happy to announce that our long-awaited DLC for Wartile, Hel's Nightmare, is now set to be released on the 5th of May.
Furthermore, are Wartile coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on the 24th of Marts and can until then be pre-ordered for Xbox One at 10% discount.
These releases are something we have been working on for more than a year, so needless to say, its a tremendous achievement, and we celebrate this with a 50% Spring discount on Wartile.
Evil powers have been awoken, and a horde of Draugr Warriors is pouring into the Norse regions, leaving trails of death and chaos in its wake. The King of the North watches as villages are pillaged, and its civilians captured and brought to Hel's Pillar.
