v1.3.2 - Save file validation

Hey Wee Tankers!

Small hotfix for some bugs once of you guys pointed out, thanks!


  • When coming from demo build, sometimes the save file would get incompatible with the full game resulting in weird behavior. Now there is a functionality added that validates save files to make sure they are correctly set-up.
  • Fixed some issues on statistics screen not displaying the correct numbers
  • Fixed issue where some achievements would not unlock even though player got the correct requirement

v1.3.1 - Multiplayer hotfix

Fixes a bug that appeared since the previous update, that stopped multiplayer maps from loading.

Small patch following the v1.2.9 version!


  • Themed map editor packs now auto unlock for all players when leveling up, if you are already high level (>20) you will unlock the packs by completing checkpoints.
  • Fixed Tankey Town grass not rendering
  • You earn more marbles and XP now completing checkpoints and after Tankey Town pursuits, making it less tedious to unlock all map editor items, skins and bullets.

Ancient difficulty - v1.2.9

We've got a new update for you, and it's a spicy one. Version 1.2.9 brings a new difficulty mode, performance upgrades, and of course, more chaos.



Ancient Difficulty


Since too many players have completed the campaign on grandpa, we needed a difficulty that no one should be able to complete fully. So here it is, ancient difficulty.


  • Enemy tank spawns? Completely random. Any tank can spawn at any time.
  • Tanks with new abilities!
  • Boss fights? Twice as intense. Good luck...
  • Winning? Not an option. ;)


Note: you need to first finish the campaign on adult difficulty!!

Performance Boost


We've optimized the game across multiple systems, by reducing the amount of objects that cast shadows and reducing the amount of lights that cast shadows. (and some other behind the scenes stuff)


  • If you've got a powerful PC – enjoy the extra smoothness.
  • If you're on a potato – congratulations, the game runs better now.
  • If your PC was already struggling before… well, at least it's struggling less now.




BUT WAIT, there is more!!



  • Bullets will now have the color of the team instead of white or black outlines, and will also be always visible if friendly fire is TURNED ON
  • Fog weather has been revamped, should be much better on the performance and also looks nicer
  • Added Fog of War toggle in the map editor, allowing to make the whole map black and discover the map as you go. You can also set the view distance in the editor
  • All enemy units have much shorter view distance on fog weather, so the player actually has a more fair chance of fighting back
  • Pressing any key or left mouse button now resets the automatic companion timer kill bar
  • AI companions now scale according to the set difficulty, they are much dumber on the lower ones. They are the same still in grandpa mode

v1.2.7 - Small Update

Hey Everyone!

This update will address two important bugs and adds some small changes to the UI.


  • If all players are dead and there are companions alive, a timer of 20 sec will appear and afterwards the companions will explode
  • Changed the menu name from Singleplayer -> Play
  • Changed the menu name from Multiplayer -> Online Multiplayer
  • Fixed a bug where tanks wouldnt die because of corrupt save data
  • Fixed a bug where the map editor menu would be empty when the game was set to another language than english

v1.2.6 - Small Update

Another small update fixing some more bugs reported lately. Thank you all for reporting them on Steam and the Discord.



The bug fixings list

  • Clapperboard being bright in sunset
  • Russet and Cherries shoot a bit slower
  • Trains spawn a bit further away from the level so the player has more time
  • Shortened the tutorial messages in the classic campaign so it doesn't block the game
  • Friendly tanks no longer count as enemy tanks on clapperboard during loading
  • White tanks no longer very visible on dark foggy missions
  • Black tank no longer gets stuck driving circles on grandpa difficulty
  • Fixed updating campaign not actually updating the workshop campaign
  • Some more changes to the new classic campaign

The bugs fixed

  • Chinese usernames showing up blank
  • Challenges not saving fixed, this was not logged within local user save data, from now on it will be logged in the save file.
  • Fixed Commander Beam music not playing
  • Fixed Commander Beam not using secondary laser attack
  • Fixed map editor camera getting stuck if clicking too fast on perspective button
  • Added Lazarus and Laser tank to custom tank music selections
  • More settings added for creating mod pack objects for the map editor
