Beta V0.1 is now LIVE!
Happy New Year, everyone! Wish you an amazing 2022! We are happy to announce that our Beta Build v0.1 is now LIVE with lots of new features and functionalities! Here's a non-exhaustive list of what's different compared to the previous live build:
New progression system: a unique progression system has been implemented, which allows the freedom that the dynamic nature of IoE demands and at the same time provides a sense of purpose and deliberation.
Spells and skills systems: spells and skills can now be upgraded properly via skill points.
Real-time natural disasters have been implemented.
More content: While the previous build was largely empty, the new one has different types of content populated all over the main island and its satellite islands.
Dynamically changing seasons have been implemented in this build. Different plants and animals spawn in different seasons. Each season lasts an hour.
The gear and loot tier systems have been updated.
A tutorial and info boxes for various mechanics have been added.
Flying mechanics for airships and flying races have been updated.
Double jump has been added. Activated by tapping space bar twice.
Added procedural music and ambisonic sounds.
Town and shops have been updated.
The foliage system has been updated to interact with just about everything, including the player, monsters, spells, etc.

As our way of saying THANK YOU for your incredible support, we're inviting all backers to a fun, Treasure Island Challenge! Up to 10 winners will receive a free upgrade to the next reward tier! Here's some key information:
ALL Kickstarter backers are invited, regardless of pledge tier (lowest pledge tier is $1)
Each backer will receive a Steam (Windows) key to download a special event demo by June 15th
10 unique treasure chests are hidden throughout the island/dungeon
First to find and open ANY of the 10 chests wins an upgrade to the next reward tier
