Coming soon to Wild Terra 2 - new island, corn and improvements

We took into account the players' experience in battles with the Plague Dragon, and decided to make some improvements. Now, in PvP locations of Plague Island there will be a lawless zone with a small temporary penalty prohibiting the use of a guide for fast travel. There will be a similar lawless zone in the location with the world boss on the new island - the battlefields.

In addition to the new locations, monsters and related activities that we mentioned in the last news, in the upcoming update we will introduce a new crop for farming - corn. It will be possible to prepare new dishes with various bonuses. Also, we will add the ability to conveniently buy the required number of items from sellers using the slider.

What we're working on: Battlefields island

We would like to share information with you about what we are currently working on.

Thanks to your votes in the survey, we have prioritized the creation of a small island that can be visited by your personal ship or by paying an NPC at the port.

The "Battlefields" will be a location populated with the skeletons of fallen knights, serving as elite warriors for players of intermediate levels. You will need to explore burial sites to compile a chronicle of the battle (building for the table). We are also working on new strong pets related to this island, with a random set of bonuses, including new features not yet seen in the game. To return, you will be able to use the services of a fisherman, for whom there will be his own quest chain and daily tasks.

We plan to expand content in certain professions, add new exotic items, and for the most experienced and cohesive players, a new boss - the Reaper, accompanying the local undead - will await at the center of the location.

Answers to community questions #2

Q: Do you plan on releasing a new island think it would go over real well at expanding the game and content

A: We would like to create a new island, but this is not possible in the near future because we would have to leave the game without any updates for several months. If we do this, we will be faced with a large outflow of audience and funding, which will be disastrous for the project. A new island means not only new territories, but also new mechanics, resources, rewards, equipment, buildings, monsters, production chains and recipes, and many other related things, the creation of which takes a lot of time. Right now we're more focused on polishing the main part of the game, but we hope that later we'll be able to return to creating large chunks of content, or releasing them in several parts.

Q: Do we get to see bug fixed and optimized gameplay response at some time ?

A: With each update we fix many bugs and add new improvements. Over the past year, 14 updates have been released, 4 of which were major.

Q: Castle will come when?

A: If you have an interesting idea for the mechanics of Castles, you can leave a suggestion on our discord channel.

Q: I’m also interested in whether there are plans for a port on the Nintendo Switch?

A: No, unfortunately there will be no version for Nintendo Switch.

Q: Dear developers, I have a question about the essentially legalized use of third-party software in the game (clickers, bots) with the help of which players gain experience, for example, in healing and fishing. Don't you think that this disrupts the gameplay and gives an unreasonable advantage to these players, comparable to buying experience for these professions in the game store (p2w)? Are you going to fight the use of third-party software in the game?

A: We point out that using this is against the rules and block players who violate these rules, as well as players who trade for real money. But while tracking bots is sometimes possible, tracking clickers is almost impossible. We are trying to combat this problem by improving mechanics, such as random spawning of monsters while fishing. We are also considering alternative options, such as introducing automatic idle fishing for everyone.

Q: When is the tavern opening?

A: We have added this to the upcoming roadmap, now your participation in voting can affect the order in which certain things are released.
