Major Game Update for 2021
Hi there pilots!
Finally, the game just got a major update. It contains the following:
- The game is ported to the latest game engine available. This will solve the compatibility issues we had with Windows 10, like black screens, graphical glitches and low frame rate. - The story mode is totally revisited and rewritten by a good writer. - Added a save/load feature to the story mode. - A new gallery section is added for the story mode. - Many bugs are fixed.
Hope that the game became better with this huge update. If you guys still encounter bugs or glitches, don't hesitate to contact me and report them. It's thanks to those report that I'm able to improve the game.

Wings Of Bluestar - Steam Autumn Festival
Since the release is planned for 13th October, Wings Of Bluestar is taking part in the Steam Autumn Festival. In this 2D hand drawn horizontal shoot'em up, get on board of the steady protective Bluewings, or the fast offensive Altair and protect humanity from an artificial but intelligent enemy.
In this demo you can experience and test the core gameplay of the game. Each ship has its own power up, sub-weapons and a special attack mechanism. They also have different scoring systems. Try both of them and see which one is best suited for your taste.
The demo offers both the first stage as single player and the 4th stage as local two players.
Wings Of Bluestar is an indie game that was in the making for 3 years and 9 months now. A long time for a shoot'em up, but it's almost made by a single person and is completely hand drawn and frame by frame animated, each stage, enemy or asset was carefully hand crafted and detailed.
The purpose of this demo is to get feedback from players in order to refine and polish the game before release. We are looking forward to your feedback!
The demo also contains all game's 90 trophies (not linked to Steam yet) and the full page of the gallery, so you can have a taste of features this game offers. In the full version, you'll have access to a full story mode, playable as a visual novel between stages. It offers dialog choices. If certain conditions are met, the player can unlock different story paths and endings.

Game Progress Update 20

How's it going? hope everything is great on your side.
This is me again with another game progress update. This time, I'm trilled to announce that the game is almost complete; we successfully merged the story mode into the main game and now all game features and modes are complete. We are just fixing bugs and testing stuff, like optimization, balancing and options.

Game Update Progress 19
Hi there pilot!
It's me, Shinu Real, I have some big progress to share with you guys.
Right now, at this moment, the story mode is 100% done and we are merging it into the full game.
The game is also being tested by our beta testers and we are making progress fixing bugs and improving things.
A new feature was added to the game, it's the training mode. Now players can play any stage they already reached and practice it.
We also took part in the Steam Autumn Festival and hope that the game will get more support from the fans, it'll start on the 7th October. We are looking forward to your support and feedback.

Game Progress Update 18
Hi there pilots,
How's life? we hope that you are doing great.
As for us, even tho we've been hit very hard by this global financial crisis, we are still doing our best to release the game.
As usual, here come the regular game progress update thread.
For the last weeks, we've been working on the story mode, while testers were playing the beta version and providing us with bug reports and feedback.
Right now, the story mode for the 1st player Aya is finished, both good and bad endings. As for the 2nd player, Zarak, we are 50% throughout his story and planning to finish it in a week.
It is it guys, the game is getting closer and closer to its release day.
Another good news is that testers didn't find many bugs and the ones they've reported were obvious ones that we fixed quickly.

Hi there pilots! hope everyone is doing great.
Shinu Real here with some big update on the game progress.
Biggest news today is that the game, except for the story mode, is totally completes and ready to enter the player testing phase.
We have:
- All stages complete. - Full arcade mode with an ending. - Two player mode with an ending. - Boss Rush. - Interactive tutorial. - 90 trophies. - 84 artworks to unlock. - A sound test mode. - Full control, gameplay, audio and screen option. - A player profile + results. - A game shop where you can purchase extra credits and unlock the other bonus modes.
Right now we are working on the visual novel style story and it's progressing smoothly.
