Winter Update!
What's changed:
- New game mode, replayable arcade mode is here! Battles & army management with army drafting! Random world map for actual travel and crisis solving is coming in the next updates, right now the game mode is based on ... cards. Couldn't find a name for it, could be called RAM, but it's too silly, so it's called Arena. Because it's basically Daily Arena 2.0. It will help a lot with implementing content packs of new units, new factions, without creating a whole new campaign.
- Bread supply system is more forgiving, as I'm slowly transitioning the system into a more open world. (custom campaigns will retain the option to be strictly linear).
The road ahead to version 1.0 is laid out and simple, just need to work. Preferably learn some things along the way, rushing and crunching isn't fun after the 5th time. Sadly, the expanded campaign 1 couldn't make it today, will be done in 2 weeks. Living without chronic pain is like a super power now, so no worries there!
New content and new features are coming and I'm free this year, exciting times1

Replenish/merge units screen. Item identification works. Spider units, new faction & race. LOTS of bugfixes.
Had planned to release the campaign content today, but it's too buggy. You could lose progress on a 5 hour campaign, not risking that. I'll fix bugs over the holiday break and will be ready for new year's. Sorry.
I'm working on the open world aspect, it will take a lot of time still. But a simpler battle-focused replayable mode is coming January 20th. Things move waaay faster now that my chronic back pain is gone! (thank you amitriptyline). New year is worth looking forward to! (fun part about psychosomatic pain is the feedback loop: pain for 10h a day -> can't work -> feel bad about productivity -> more pain)

Thank you for following the game! It's been a very rough year for me and Winter Falling, but things are okay now. I'm really sorry for the lack of meaningful updates in the last months, in a couple days a big expansion drops. Another in january. So things are looking up!

- starting hp for units is based on spreadsheet values, troop changes give permanent changes. - Separate in-battle stat bonuses for units from campaign bonuses. Fixed bug with strange HP jumps. - Tiny optimization with ForceUpdateStats and BattleGroup placements near PlayerAreas. - enemy units don't disappear on random battles. Clump control. - Final quests in campaign 0 require less bread.
