Update 0.24 - Resurrection and bleeding out


  • Made improvements to pathfinding.
  • Fixed minor bugs.
  • Fixed bug where the wrong weapon would sometimes be equipped.
  • When you move a villager they will now wait in that position for longer before returning to their duties.
  • The villager hub will now be smaller when first opened.
  • Added new resource 'Resurrection potion'. Can only be found in chests or purchased from the market. When a villager is defeated he/she will now bleed out before dying. Using a resurrection potion before they bleed out will bring then back to life.
  • When choosing a weapon the player can now change the weapon type.
  • Fixed issue with social friendship scores not being saving.
  • Added option to remove or add new villagers (upto a max of 20 villagers) on the new map screen.
  • Fixed issue with floors not being placed under doors.

Small update for game being too fast.

Added small update to fix issue with the game being too fast if running over 60FPS.

Update 0.23 - Trade requests and Injuries.


  • Fixed bug where built walls could sometimes not be destroyed.
  • Fixed bug where manatricity cables could not be placed over stockpiles.
  • Fixed bug where arrows were not destroyed when picked up by archers.
  • Fixed bug where lights could not be placed on floor tiles.
  • Added double bed.
  • Added single comfortable bed.
  • Right clicking on a villager will now bring up a list of options (the options tab has been removed from the villager hub).
  • Added option to instruct villagers to stay in position (villagers will still defend themselves but they won't move).
  • Added new furniture 'comfortable bed'.
  • Factions will now randomly offer trade requests.
  • Villager body parts can now get injured. If legs are injured movement speed is reduced, max health if the head is injured and attack damage if arms are injured. Injuries will heal over time.

Update 0.22 - Factions & Power Towers


  • Added factions - Factions are randomly generated at the start of a new map and will randomly visit your base. Hostile factions will attack on sight, neutral factions will offer trade, and friendly factions will trade and can be requested to come to the players aid.
  • Added new building 'EyeSpy Power Tower' - Enables the EyeSpy power, an eye that can be moved around the map allowing the player to keep watch over a certain area. It can also be used as a marker for interesting places.
  • Added new building 'Lightning Power Tower' - Enables the lightning power, an ability to create a lightning storm that will damage nearby enemies.
  • Added new building 'Lightning Power Tower' - Enables the tornado power, an ability to create a tornado storm that will damage nearby enemies.
  • Added 'buy' and 'sell' button to the market, pressing the right mouse button in the market will now cancel any sales.
  • Right clicking on doors will now give an option to lock/unlock doors.
  • Monsters will patrol longer distances, spreading them out more.
  • Added 'Quit' button in the options.
  • Improved fire.
  • Added new enemy building 'Bear Cave' - spawns bears over time.
  • Fixed bug where fish were being spawned in desert regions.
  • Fixed bug where fires would multiply when loading a game.
  • Fixed bug where the game would pause for a second the first time a floor was placed.

Update 0.21 - Combat log and trade with travellers.


  • Clicking on potions in the villagers stats page will now instruct the villager to use it.
  • Added new combat log (keeps track of what monsters your villagers have fought with or tamed);
  • Added option to trade with travellers.
  • Reduced the brightness of white text.
  • Fixed issue where a sleeping villager could not be selected while the game was paused.
  • Fixed issue where monster info was not showing while game was paused.
  • Improved horse and mushroom towers sprites.
  • Minor bug fixes.
  • Some minor UI graphical improvements.

  • Villagers that are ill will now vomit.
  • Added new furniture item 'Jukebox'.
  • Rooms will now be classed as indoors if surrounded by walls and doors.
  • A rooms size, cleanliness and impressiveness will affect a villagers mood when they sleep in it.

  • Added option to change camera speed.
  • Added keyboard controls for changing game speed.
  • Removed the ingame pause menu, instead the game can now be saved and loaded in the options menu.

  • Fixed bug where onions and radish were not filling the villagers hunger.
  • Villagers will no longer eat wheat and flour.
  • More ore veins will spawn on new maps.
  • Added new things that villagers will talk about in social events.
  • Added time stamps to messages.
  • Flying monsters will now fly over walls, mountains and water.
  • Flying monsters will no longer attack walls and will just fly over them instead.
  • Fixed bug where enemy spell projectiles were not damaging walls.
  • Fixed bug where homing enemy spell projectiles were not being destroy when hitting a villager or wall.

  • Towers, cannons and ballista will now send a message if ran out of ammo/mana.
  • Added option to toggle fishing on/off in the AI Manager.
  • Added more options to the new map screen.
  • Added dried up water tiles in desert regions.
  • Enemies killed by towers, cannons or ballista will now drop XP orbs, these can be used by villagers to increase XP.
  • Fixed bug where knight and dark knight were not using the training dummy.
  • Fixed bug where gas vents and ore veins were being highlighted for pickup.

Update 0.16


  • Peasants will now drop a grave when killed. Graves will spawn ghosts over time and require 500 coin to destroy.
  • Pets will now also drop graves.
  • Resources will now spawn faster at ore veins.
  • Added enemy buildings, these buildings will spawn enemies over time.
  • Made alert sound a bit softer.
  • Added chance that aggressive animals will have rabies. Villagers can catch rabies off infected animals.
  • More enemies will be spawned at the start of a new map.
  • Fixed issue where some wild animals were not being saved.
  • In the new game screen, when randomizing new maps the colony will not be randomized as well.
  • In the new game screen added button to randomly generate a new colony.
  • Added horses to research.
  • Attacking speed has been decreased, damage will now only be applied every 1 second.

Update 0.15


  • New maps will now start with 8 villagers instead of 5.
  • Villagers will now catch fish at the fishing boat.
  • Fish will die after so long, this will help to evenly spread the fish throughout the maps lakes.
  • Fixed bug where some of the menus was not turned off while manually controlling a villager.
  • Fixed issue with knight attack animation not centered.
  • When manually controlling a villager the game speed will be automatically changed to normal speed.
  • Fixed issue with the attack and build animation being too fast.
  • Removed the 'market stall', resources purchased from the market will now be spawned at the 'resource teleport' instead.
  • When a resource is sold at the market the coin received will now be shown above it.
  • Cattle and pets are now locked on new maps and need to be unlocked in research.
