WoF releases Tuesday on Steam!
It’s about time. The long wait will soon be over as Valve has approved WoF for release, all preparations are done and the game will be launched on 6th September 2016 at 12AM (midnight) PDT (Los Angeles) / 9AM GMT+1 (Berlin).
To celebrate this launch we will deploy our next content update, raising the level cap to 80, unlocking three more regions and adding a big amount of new items like boats, inventory expansion slots and costumes!
Attention: Due to Steam regulations it is unfortunately not possible to play the Steam version with any account created on our website (or vice versa to play with your Steam account on our website). Except that the two versions will have the same content, events, items etc. and of course Steam and Web players will be on the same server.
Please also remember to confirm your account by clicking the link in the confirmation email as otherwise your account will be deleted after two weeks.
There will be great launch events which will boost your (new) start pretty much. Don’t miss it! We will publish further information about the events later. See on Tuesday!

Steam integration almost done!
we are happy to announce that the integration into the Steam Platform is done and the release is getting close. We are currently still testing and confirming everything with Steam, but will announce a fixed date shortly!

WoF is coming to Steam!
World of Fishing is coming to Steam soon! Many of you have been asking about the release date - which has been pushed back a few times already - and the only honest answer we can give you is "when it's done". Our team is working every day on the integration but because the game has been published already outside of Steam, connecting Steam and the InselGames Account system takes a lot more time than expected. That being said we are planning to launch the game this summer and are even trying to keep the previous release date of July 2016. Once the date is confirmed we will update you as well as on the details of how to obtain the InselGames account.
Together with the Steam launch we also have a major content update planned for the game!
