Weekly Challenge #5 How powerful can Motsognir be??
Who can have the most power and endurance on Motsognir faster than other participating players?
The winner will be determined by the player with the strongest (power+endurance) Motsognir in the shortest amount of time. The most power & endurance is the goal and the shortest amount of time is a tiebreaker

The Strongest Temple - Weekly Challenge #4
Weekly Challenge #4 Who can build the strongest temples???
Who can build the most health across all three friendly temples faster than other participating players? The winner will be determined by whoever can have the most health of each friendly temple combined in the shortest amount of time.
The total health is calculated by adding the health of each friendly temple (Left temple + Center temple + Right Temple). If one temple is destroyed, that temple’s health is 0.
The “shortest amount of time” is determined by the amount of maximum faith you have OR by the number of cards left in your deck AND your opponent’s deck.
Example: The player who has 50 health across all 3 friendly temples but only has a maximum of 7 faith (turn 5) will beat the player who has 50 health across all 3 friendly temples but has a maximum of 10 faith.
Example: Two players each submit an entry. Both entries have 50 health across all 3 friendly temples and both players have a maximum of 10 faith. Player 1 has 10 cards left in their deck and Player 1’s opponent has 11 cards left in their deck giving a total of 21 cards. Player 2 has 0 cards left in their deck and Player 2’s opponent has 3 cards in their deck giving a total of 3 cards. In this example, player 1 would beat player 2 because player 1 has the most number of cards left in the decks.
1 Winner will get a code for 5 packs and 500 diamonds. Deadline: Feb 28 (Fri), 11pm EST

Final Egypt Leader Reveal - Nephthys
Red.
Red was all she could see. Crimson ribbons poured out from the chest of her beloved, making a scarlet puddle on the floor beneath him.
Aseneth let out a terrified scream as she watched the life leave his eyes. The young prince fell lifelessly to the ground, his face still distorted in defiance of the act.
The killer now turned his attention to the frightened girl against the wall. He stalked towards Aseneth menacingly, blade dripping with the prince’s lifeblood in his right hand.
As he approached, she drew up her courage and stood up, back against the wall. “How…..how could you do that to your own brother?!” She knew she was dead, so she at least hoped to get answers before she made her journey to Duat.
But the killer didn’t oblige her with an answer. He didn’t owe her anything. He didn’t even acknowledge that she said anything. He plunged the same dagger he had used to kill his brother a moment prior, into her stomach. Her eyes went wide as she spit up even more red. She was then pushed to the floor where red now pooled at her side as red faded to dark.
Black.
Black was all she could see. A dark nothingness was all she now knew. Shades moved on the black background, in and out of view.
One of the shades moved closer, finally taking shape into a humanoid form. The figure was shrouded and the face was obscured by a mask. “The Goddess Isis and the Goddess Nephthys welcome you, daughter of the temple. While your life has ended, your journey is just starting.”
Aseneth looked puzzled at the statement. “What? Who are you? Where am I?” She then began to panic. “Where is Abayomi?!”
“Death is only the beginning.” The figure stated before vanishing back the way it came. And then it was quiet. Black and quiet. There didn’t even seem to be air around. It was complete nothingness again. She wanted to scream, she wanted to run, to escape, but her body didn’t respond to her commands. The silence went one for what seemed like an eternity.
The emptiness finally broke, not by sound, but by light. A torchlight to be precise. The sound of footsteps followed the light as a figure took shape holding the torch. This figure was much clearer than the previous one. This was distinctly a male figure. A young male, younger than her, by several years, wearing princely regalia. Wait, not prince, Pharaoh regalia.
When the boy approached, he smiled at her. “Welcome, Aseneth, daughter of the temple. I am Tutankhamun. I come bearing a warning. Love doesn’t dwell. You only have one chance. Death is only the beginning.”
“What does that mean?” She asked, confused. But, the Pharaoh has only his smile to respond to her. He begins to fade the same as the last figure, except this time, instead of disappearing he morphed into a blob of shadow and darkness.
The blob split into two and each began to take shape. Two of the largest lions she had ever seen took shape out of the blobs or darkness, each with their backs to each other. One faced to her left while the other faced to her right.
To her surprise, the lion on her left began to speak. “I am Duaj. If the past you seek, go left.” Then the lion on her right spoke. “I am Sefer. If you are ready to face the future, go right.” Then they both spoke at the same time. “We are Aker. Choose now your path. Past or Future, for your presence, is no more.” Then the massive divine beasts were silent except for the occasional swoosh of their tales as they brushed against the ground.
It was then that Aseneth noticed she could move again. She looked to her left, to the past. The scene before her changed from blackness to green.
Green.
Green was all she could see. There was so much green. The ground was covered in emerald grass. There were also trees with tops of green. She gasped as she realized what she was seeing. This was when Abayomi had taken her to another land. A land lush with wildlife and full of green. This is where they had fallen in love.
She saw a younger Abayomi tickle a younger her as they playfully wrestled on the grass. She had managed to pin him, but he won the day when he stole a kiss from her. She went red remembering. She wanted to instantly run towards the left, to go back to that time when they were so happy. She started forward but then paused.
She remembered what Tutankhamun had told her. “Love doesn’t dwell….” She found it hard to look away, but then she turned to the right. That’s when green faded into yellow.
Yellow.
Yellow was all she could see. This new way was nothing like the previous. This way was a warm yellow color. It was the dawning of a new day. It was also a funeral procession at first light. A priest led the mourners into the yellow tomb to begin the final rites.
She saw two bodies wrapped in mummy bandages that were placed on their final resting place. The priest began performing the rites. Aseneth backed away from the scene. She didn’t want it to end. Her life wasn’t really over….was it? She looked back to the left, to the green.
It was the same scene she saw previously. She then turned back to the right. She whispered, “Death is only the beginning,” before resolving herself and stepping forward to the right. One after the other until she was at the yellow light. Then yellow turned to white.
White.
White was all she could see. Everything was white now. She blinked a few times to try to make out anything. Eventually, a female shape appeared before her. The woman before her wore a headdress in the shape of a house and basket.
“Welcome, daughter of the temple. I am Nephthys. You have come a long way, but your journey is far from over. You still have work to do. Death is only the beginning.” The Goddess nodded and the world no longer was white. It was colorless but bright. So bright. Too bright.
The brightness hurt her eyes. She could no longer see the Goddess. She couldn’t see anything except for just complete brightness. She was going towards a light. She started to panic again. This brilliance can only mean one thing! It was really over!
She tried to turn and run, but everywhere she turned it got brighter and brighter. She felt like she was going to dissolve into this brilliance and into nothingness. Just as it felt like it was all over, she felt a hand grab hers. That’s when she saw his face. Her Abayomi. He smiled at her and spoke. “You should know by now that this isn’t the end. Death is only the beginning after all.”
She felt relief seeing him and smiled back. “So I’ve heard.” She pulled him closer as the world dissolved around them.

Third Egypt Leader revealed - Horus
The Pharaoh snuck inside the storeroom. He’d be the first to agree that sneaking wasn’t a particularly royal activity, but the priests weren’t around to mither, so he was resolved to indulge himself. He examined the room quietly. Sacks of grain were stacked against the walls and a tiny foot extended behind one of them. The Pharaoh moved towards it with cat-like grace, then leaped forward and grabbed the foot. His actions produced a high-pitched squeak, followed by joyous laughter.
‘Caught you!’ he grinned.
A young child girl with thick dark hair appeared from behind the sack and threw herself on his neck like a monkey.
‘Settle down, Iset, ‘tis time to sleep,’ said Amenhotep the Third, as he lifted the girl on his shoulders and carried her out of the storeroom.
‘Story first! Story!’ she exclaimed.
He smiled fatherly at her.
‘Which story would you like?’
‘I want a new one!’ she replied with a sparkle in her eyes.
‘Then I shall tell you how young Horus defeated his evil uncle,’ the Pharaoh replied.
They entered her chambers and he sat her down on a luxurious wooden bed inlaid with animal skin and palm leaves.
‘Storytime! Storytime!’ the girl exclaimed again.
‘Where should I start I wonder?’ he queried, scratching his chin with a puzzled expression.
‘At the beginning!’ she giggled.
Iset pulled a blanket of palm leaves over herself, then looked at her father with all the anticipation in the world.
‘It begins with the Great Goddess Iset, whose name you bear. Back then, she had to hide from her evil brother Set in the swamps, for so remarkable was the hate he carried for her and her newborn son, Horus-‘
‘That’s you!’ she declared happily.
‘Not just me, but every Pharaoh that’s been before and every Pharaoh that will be after. We are one with Horus in life and one with Osiris in death,’ he continued. ‘The Goddess Iset saw how Set neglected the Ennead and the famine and misery it brought to the land. She asked her sisters, Serqet and Neith, for help. They were to make young Horus wise and strong enough to reclaim the throne of Egypt from his uncle.’
‘Did they help her?’
‘They summoned seven sacred scorpions to protect the boy as he grew. Once he was wise and strong enough, he challenged his uncle before the Ennead, and all but one of them agreed that Horus was the rightful ruler. The supreme Ra claimed that Horus was too inexperienced and too young to rule.’
‘But what about the famine and misery?’ she asked in wide-eyed disbelief.
‘We often fail to see what is right before us. Ra truly believed Horus was too young and he meant to test him. He asked them to fight and prove which deserves to reign over Egypt.’
‘And Horus won, right, Father?’ asked the girl impatiently. The Pharaoh smiled and tapped her forehead gently.
‘Patience, little one, Horus did win, but it wasn’t that simple, for Ra kept denying his claims to the Throne. Horus and Set fought countless battles and Horus triumphed each time. Eighty summers passed, but Ra still refused Horus’ right to rule-‘
‘That’s not fair, he promised!’ Iset interrupted again.
‘Even the Gods are afraid of change, my girl. Ra remained firm, Horus was young and his uncle would rule the Kingdom still. Meanwhile, the land suffered, crops withered, livestock fell ill and locusts swarmed the living. Seeing her people go through such hardships pained the Divine Iset greatly, but she knew Ra was too set in his ways and would not change his verdict. So the Goddess devised a plan.’
‘A plan to defeat the evil uncle!’ the girl exclaimed and smirked.
‘That’s right, little one. Iset turned into a beautiful young woman, sat down in front of the palace and began to weep. Set was told of the breathtaking woman at his gates and so he came out in all his splendor, meaning to seduce her. He asked her of her sorrows and she told him of the wicked man that had killed her husband, his own brother. He had banished her to live in the swamplands, where her only confidants were the scorpions and now he meant to kill her only son.’
‘Set grew outraged and vowed punishment on the wrongdoer. He swore to find the man who committed these crimes and banish him. He would then restore the woman and her son to their rightful place and justice would be done so that all would know of his fairness.’
The Pharaoh’s daughter smiled from ear to ear.
‘Iset then cast off her disguise and revealed her true self. Set had condemned himself with his own words and so Ra agreed that Horus should be king. The evil uncle was exiled to the deserts beyond, while Horus still rules wisely to this day with his mother Iset and aunt Nephthys by his sides as the wisest of consorts,’ the Pharaoh leaned forward and kissed his daughter’s forehead. ‘Time to sleep now, little one, Khepri will be pushing the sun across the sky soon,’ he tapped her forehead once more, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

*Horus will be the starting Leader of the Egyptian Mythology
Second Egyptian Leader Reveal- Osiris
Tiye woke up confused and attempted to sit in her bed in the dark room, only to find that it was not a bed she was lying in. As she climbed from the opened sarcophagus, memories of what had transpired in the past few days started returning to her – wine, festivities … sudden chest pain … the sound of screams … suffocating. Realization dawned, but the room did not get any brighter – she was dead and this was either the afterlife or her burial chamber.
As she was waiting for her sight to adjust, the wall 10 feet in front of her, filled with hieroglyph images of people in the underworld being judged by the gods was illuminated by a surge of light. Tiye turned around in search of the light’s source and saw a circular gateway, glowing with such intensity that it hurt the eyes. On either side of it were breathing heavily giant lions, each unphased by the light, and each with their predatory stare intensely focused on her.
Shortly, multiple figures emerged between the lion keepers and it took Tiye a few seconds to realize that it was a procession. Two columns of people with the regalia of priests slowly filled the edges of the room, forming a circle that surrounded her. Following this, two more people stepped out of the light – an imposing man, towering over everyone else and bearing the symbols of a high priest and a hunched-over mummy, its whole body wrapped in bandages, not showing an inch of skin. Then, the high priest spread his arms wide and his voice boomed across the chamber:
“I welcome you, Tiye, Queen-Consort of Ramesses III, son of Ra, ruler of the Nile to the entrance of the Field of Reeds, Aaru.”
Tiye took another look at her surroundings. This wasn’t so bad after all – the welcome committee seemed impressive enough for a woman of her lineage and status. She allowed herself to smile and the man who had spoken returned a smile of his own, which, for some reason made the recently deceased feel a shiver run down her spine. She opened her mouth, but before she could speak a single word, the procession leader’s continued speech drowned out all other sounds:
“As a woman of the highest status, it cannot be expected of you to follow the path of your lessers.” The speaker waved his hand and focused Tiye’s attention to the shimmering light. Despite hurting her eyes, she could not avert her gaze from it, as the mere sight of it brought warm memories to her heart, banished all of her fears and made hope nest itself in every corner of her soul. “Beyond this is Mandjet, the boat of the great Amun-Ra, who will welcome you in his warm embrace, to share in his Light, to add yours to His and make the flames of eternity shine even brighter.”
“That is of course after a judgment is passed upon your soul. As a woman of royalty and a close servant of the Pharaoh, you need not fear the wrath of Ammit. But you must still pass the tests. By now, I believe you have recognized who those majestic creatures are?” The rhetorical question was accompanied by a nod to the lions and a disturbing smile.
Tiye’s uneasiness was increasing and she just nodded, not daring to speak in case her voice betrayed her. Those were Duaj and Sefer, the lions of yesterday and tomorrow, protectors of Ra in his travels across the sea of stars.
“Good. They will assist us. In his struggle against Apophis, Ra needs only the pious, wise and strong, for when facing the Great Serpent, only they will be able to resist the temptations of Chaos. You’ve had your entire life to sharpen your soul and prove your spirit. Duaj, he who looks behind will testify for your past.”
The bandaged mummy that had emerged earlier stepped next to one of the lions and put a hand on its mane. Duaj growled with the sound of a thousand sandstorms. The mummy whispered with a raspy voice and from the gateway appeared 2 priests, bearing a mummified corpse, which they put on the ground between the lions. The bandaged creature placed a hand on the corpse, and whispered in a raspy voice once more. The corpse began to move and slowly started to remove its own bandages. Beneath them was not a dry skeleton, but a man of royal appearance. No, not a man – a Pharaoh! When he spoke, it was with a voice so deep and commanding that it made the judged feel like a scarab next to a crocodile.
“I am Khufu of the 4th Dynasty! I built the Great Pyramid to honor the gods and built monuments in their name, so the people would never lose sight of our divine purpose! I greet you in the Field of Reeds, Aaru, made beautiful by our faith.”
Duaj growled again, the mummy that had resurrected Khufu whispered once more and the Pharaoh disappeared into the gateway. Shortly after, another man was brought forward. No, not a man – it was a child! He can’t have been more than 10 years old, but was still adorned with royal regalia.
“I am Tutankhamun of the 18th dynasty. My father sought to destroy and remake the beliefs of our people. I saw through his folly and dedicated my reign to restoring the temples of the gods and returning them to their past glory, as without the gods we are without guidance and roam the world aimlessly, like sand in the wind. I greet you in the Field of Reeds, Aaru, made bright by our wisdom.”
Another growl, another whisper and the boy disappeared, replaced by a titan of a man, who to Tiye seemed, could defeat whole armies by himself. The voice in which he spoke was a perfect match for the person.
“I am Ramesses II of the 19th dynasty! I conquered in the name of the gods and with my strength spread their will and wisdom across the world, so that all might serve their purpose! I greet you in the Field of Reeds, Aaru, made strong by our will.”
Saying this Ramesses looked at Tiye with such contempt, that she instinctively lowered her gaze. She immediately tried to conceal it, but the Pharaoh’s scornful look had sent an intense pang of fear through the very core of her being.
Behind Ramesses, the bandaged mummy whispered again and to Tiye’s great relief, the conqueror disappeared. The bandaged one stroked the mane of Duaj one more time and nodded towards the high priest. He nodded back and turned towards Tiye.
“Now that you have seen an example of each virtue, I ask you – what in life can testify for your piety, wisdom, and strength?”
Tiye’s eyes widened as the realization suddenly dawned on her – this wasn’t a welcoming party, but a court, with a judge and jury. She started racing through her memories, desperately trying to find some great achievement, some virtuous deed … but the truth was, her life was filled with nothing of note. In fact, it was …
“I… uh… I…”
“You were selfish.”
A voice came from somewhere. Tiye shook at the accusation, which like a masterfully shot arrow, was both accurate and hurtful.
“You were arrogant.”
The same voice, the same result. She was frantically looking around, trying to figure out who was speaking.
“You were weak.”
… And finally, the judged saw the judge.
Where the bandaged, hunched mummy stood before, now rose a towering figure. As the bandages fell to the ground, revealed underneath was not a decaying corpse, but a man, whose presence outshined even Ramesses. Though Tiye was never very interested in religion in life, it was impossible for her not to recognize the God standing in front of her.
“Osiris, please, I beg of you …”
“Silence!” The deity’s voice boomed. Tiye felt her vocal cords immediately tighten and it was all she could do to not clutch her neck. “You are not allowed to beg. You are allowed to grovel, although I am not sure how much good will it do. You have lived a privileged life and have never wanted for comfort. You were given the honor of serving the Pharaoh, he who is the greatest among the people. And instead of helping him walk the path that the Gods have chosen for him, you abused his trust and conspired against him for your own benefits!”
Tiye strained to speak once more. “I did it all for Egypt!” is what she wanted to say, but the words refused to leave her mouth. But they were not necessary – Osiris’ piercing gaze saw all and she now understood that he could see not only her thoughts, but her very being, her soul. Too late had she realized that the truth could not be hidden.
“Even now, you seek to deceive. Even detached from mortal temptations and at the gates of an eternal and perfect paradise, you still lust for more. You are unworthy of the very soil you stood upon.”
Osiris turned his gaze away in disgust. Though dead, Tiye had felt as if she could not breathe for the entire time he was talking, but now finally felt something akin to air filling her lungs. But then, Osiris spoke again.
“Now, just as Duaj showed you what was, Sefer, he who looks forward, will show you what will be. The judgment you so cleverly thought to have escaped in life, I will now render upon your immortal soul.”
Tiye froze. But it was too late. Osiris, the supreme judge of the dead, put his hand on the mane of the second lion and the beast’s intense gaze fell upon her. And then Tiye, Queen-Consort of the 20th dynasty started screaming …
